Good food, good atmosphere, great service Havent tried the cocktail menu but the wine selections is good and the food options are good Stake was cooke med rare! As requested and flavorful
Great food and drinks with excellent service! We got here early and they filled up fast. Highly recommend the calamari. It was perfectly prepared!
The area where this restaurant is located can be very busy, especially during Fri and weekends, so plan accordingly. There is a parking garage nearby which is very convenient. The night we went for dinner was quiet so we were able to get a table right away. Our server was very courteous and helpful since it was our first time there. They have a good selection of beer and cocktails. The four we ordered were great. Appetizers were very generous in portion: calamari and the French fries. Both came out fresh and crispy with loads of flavor. Our main entrees were surf and turf (6oz sirloin and grilled halibut) and NY strip steak. Again, both came out perfectly and we're delicious. Overall a great place for drinks and meal with friends or date.
Had the house special skirt steak with rosemary pesto mash potatoes and grilled vegetables. Super delicious 100% going back. Rahg our server was great and got us everything we needed including blackberry sours and other drinks. 😎
I honestly never leave a review unless it’s really good, or really bad…this was definitely the first. First off the bartender Raag, from start to finish, completed the whole experience. Drinks, dinner, experience, all on point. I live in Texas and came in on a business trip and found a gem. Will definitely be back and will be bringing coworkers and friends. Thx for a great evening.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday and I found Firehouse No. 1 on Opentable. It was Friday night and parking was a bit challenging - recommend getting there early. We were seated right away in the back corner of the restaurant. Our server was friendly and prompt. Drinks were served right away and well crafted. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! The bone marrow appetizer was devoured quickly, as was the calamari. My friend's rib-eye steak was a perfect medium rare. I had mussels and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked. We ended up staying & chatting at the restaurant for a long time. It got loud at times but overall the volume was manageable. The staff brought out complimentary (?) cheesecake for my friend's birthday, which was a nice gesture. My only complaint is that our bench seats were not the most comfortable. Otherwise everything else was awesome. Would certainly recommend this place and return for future visits.
The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful and the wait was minimal considering how packed it was. I didn't know what to order but the bartender (John) recommended the pork chop and I have zero regrets - it was FANTASTIC. The only minus was the host telling us we'd have to wait 45 minutes and then having to rush to finish beers that we got next door because we got a text 15 minutes later.
Tucked away among many other restaurants is this small spot with a local flair...but the food and drinks are truly world class. We shared the beets, which were so delicious and then I had the pork chop which was cooked to perfection. I also had a delicious italian gin concoction that was perfect with my meal. Highly recommended. #localspot #happyhour
Absolutely fantastic gastro-pub in downtown San Jose. Location is on market place strip where a lot of restaurants are located. The beer and specialty cocktail menu was extensive. The food was fantastic. Had both the wings and the Red Wine Braised Octopus Fire Grilled ... Perfectly prepared with fantastic flavor!
This sports bar has a great atmosphere...Awesome place to be during big games with all the big screen TVs all around. Food and drinks are FANTASTIC!! Attentive staff who are very familiar with their various cocktails/menu to help you decide. I have been here a few times and always loved their daily specials which were always great! Overall...a great place to hangout with friends!
After hooking up with Pillsbury and his son Doughboy we headed down to what Pillsbury calls the eatin street...lots of options he says. Well, we parked in the big garage there, and walked from about here to there before rankin it down to 3 joints. We couldn't settle on which place so we did rock, paper, scissors, and that didn't work because Doughboy couldn't understand how paper could beat a rock, so..we did odd man out, first with our fingers, then with 3 quarters, and again, Doughboy didn't understand the concept because he says each quarter has the same guy on it..! So I asked him this "If your pants were on fire which of these restaurants would you go to?" He thought about it for about 5 seconds..laughed and said the Firehouse Restaurant! It was my choice all along! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆
Really nice place. I went in kind of early so it wasn't too crowded. Staff is on top of it. Had the waygu burger, it was awesome. Had a great old fashioned. Will definitely go back again!
Fun marketplace with many shops.... - ice cream shop to start the marketplace - great Indian Dosa place - South Asian - Pizza place - Few Nice bars - Open air seating in the middle - indoor seating with sports on TVs - There is even a Tequila Bar !! - Nepali momo bar - Mexican restaurant - Peruvian Restaurant - and more Kind of a mini Boston Market (of course smaller and less famous). But similar vibes, less crowded, less touristy. Has good parking nearby.
We came from out of town just to visit this market. (An hour and a half, drive time) Read a few reviews on the restaurants, but not too much said about the whole market itself. So, I wanted to review the market as a whole. I'll try, I mean. Arrived 10 minutes before doors were opened. Seems like a good neighborhood/area of San Jose. Plenty of parking when we arrived at 10:45am. *Free parking for the first 90 minutes, large parking garage, we ended up paying $3 for the extra 30-40 minutes afterward. We walked halfway around the block, and everything outside was kept clean and pleasing to the eyes. There was a coffee shop already open and taking customers, especially love the outdoor seating. Saw a few dogs on leashes. Their main website says dogs allowed, they just need to be well-behaved. *Two main food courts. Both courts have their own ambiance. One seems more dimmed and busier while the other was more open (bigger as well) stalls spaced more apart. Surprisingly, both courts had bars. One had a full service bar while the other mainly focused on craft beers, micro brew & IPA's on tap. This bar had canned beers too if there wasn't anything on tap you didn't like. There is plenty of outside seating area from four tops to benches to seating for 6-8 people. Tables and booths inside market area too. *Bathrooms- 4 of them situated around the market. And each had 3-6 stalls per bathroom. *Security was present. They seemed vigilant and were always walking around. *18-20 stalls of food, drinks, and snack stands to pick from. Asian, Mexican, pizzeria, American food to coffee, tea and boba drinks to pick from.

This place is great! I came for lunch while visiting the area with family. we ordered a few things to try different foods and I really enjoyed the seafood spot. They had a lot of spaces indoor and outdoor to sit and enjoy your meal. For those who like sports, they were playing the football games!
Lots of good food options in the market. The outside open area is great to hangout with friends and family. It is very lively out there specially over the weekends!! parking might be difficult to find. There are lot of good bars and restaurants outside of the market. Bars are open till late thats great.
This bar is in its own spacious area towards the front of the San Pedro square market. The bar has many cocktail options, I personally recommend the Mariposa. There is plenty of seating with tables and being part of the San Pedro market square, there is also a huge variety of eating options right there. They have live music on some nights which you can enjoy while sipping a nice cocktail or even a coffee from the coffee shop in the same space.
We really liked San Pedro Square Market, there are tons of food options and nice seating area outside, I would recommend getting early on the weekends if you’re planning on finding a table as it gets CROWDED, we went with tacos and had a couple of local brews from the bar but seems you can’t go wrong with the food you choose, everything looked tasty. Would recommend for a nice Saturday/Sunday afternoon. Ohh and they play live music if you’re interested
Great food court with a unique traditional/ retro theme. Well managed, picking only unique and boutique food vendors. Feels more like a food truck convention. Highly suggest the hip bar and WeWork like ambiance near one of the entrances. If you live in SJ, you should definitely swing by! Lots of parking lots/ complexes nearby, but may need a small walk.
Super nice, clean and Cousy place to meet your friend, get some snacks/light food or drink and just enjoy. They have live music, I was there on Wednesday around 7:30 pm. I will definitely suggest this place to visit. The parking is little challenging which you can park in the parking just in front of the market place for $ 5:00.
Joe is the man! service is usually a make or break for me and joe sets the bar high ! Definitely will be coming back
Perfect for watching a big game, happy hour, just because of a regular weekender in SJ downtown. It's a bar situationally in the middle with a opening to the courtyard.

Sabrina got me my drink so fast and she was so nice!!! 10/10 I will be coming back to order from her and the other wonderful staff
The service at the bar was great, as was my old fashioned. My food was alright, nothing to rave about. But the inside of this place is very chill and cozy. I’d come back just because of the ambience.
Good service. But my shrimp carbonara came out too salty. The mixed drinks were delish. The total came out a bit pricey for the quality of the food.
We were able to dine in now that 25 percent is allowed. We were the only one in the restaurant. Everyone was in the patio. We had to fill out a form for the city of San Jose. The service was good. The food was only above average for us. We had the calamari for appetizer. The batter was good but the calamari was a little chewy. We're calamari aficionados so our standard is a little high. I had the pork chop. It was juicy enough, but a little on the bland side. It was also a little small. The wife had the steak. Again it was juicy but a little bland. So it was an above average dining experience.
I was here working for a week and was eating fast food and my body was highly upset about the whole food situation. On our last day in town I found this place with great reviews. Bartender was great and answered all our questions, I finally went with the pork chop. It was easily hands down, the best pork chop I ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Add a old fashioned and I was in a great place to be. Absolutely 🔥. Will definitely return to give the 5 Starz this place deserves. Do yourself a favor and just go!

Great night scene, live music and several restaurants and bars, really impressed with this place ! Such an exiting zone with indoors and outdoors sitting , beers and food that can be enjoyed in beautifully decorated areas , even the lights are pretty and Street art males the environment blend with the city.

I ordered a beer, but could not drink it because they DON'T TAKE CASH! Last time i checked, cash is still legal tender.... lame!
Came here for brunch today and it was OK. I think if they had more staff my review would have been 4 stars. Our waiter seemed as though he was the only waiter working, and unfortunately drink and food did take awhile. That being said I didn’t realize Sunday’s were only the brunch menu and he did tell me the kitchen could accommodate me ordering Mac + cheese. He was very accommodating and I think had he had more time to dedicate to each table it would have been a better overall experience. The food was just OK. I will be back to see how it is in a few months maybe.
We came during happy hours. $10 on selected appetizers, $5 on selected beers/ wines/ cocktails. Their mussels are good! We also ordered the wings, bison burger, calamari, a couple of HH drinks, and our total before tips was $90. Will probably come back for the mussels and try other entrees. Though we will sit at the bar next time, the sit down area was a little loud even though there were not many people inside.
We came here for some dinner and drinks, my Husband and I. The place looked pretty packed and the menu looked good. We decided to try it out. We were not impressed with the food. My Philly had lots of fat in the meat. My husband's steak was not the cut they said it was. However, the cocktail was delicious! And the waiters were very nice.
Nice establishment, the staff was polite an incitefull of the menu. The ambiance was nice as we chose to sit outside an enjoy the San Jose 🌙. The food was an I would definitely be back an recommend.
Nice little place to chill and go grab a drink or a bite to eat there is a colorful road to walk on a couple restaurants on the strip, like the old spaghetti factory and a little bar or two , if you walk into the building at the end that will lead you to a strip of restaurants and a small corridor that you could walk through that lead you to an open outside space where they have a couple TVs and they usually play sports you can chill , drink and vibe to eat outside , there’s lots of little areas to sit lots of places to grab a drink quick bites and things like sushi pizzas Indian food ,chowder , Thai food, Philly cheesteaks , gelato , burgers exc something fun to do with your family or without vibe is different at night more adult scene parking is free 90 min in garage that connects to painted street
