Great BBQ pork in the neighborhood. Reasonably priced and good chinese style bbq pork and peking duck. The duck has that nicecruncky skin and wonderful smell. The bbq pork (cha sieu) by the pound has always been my favorite with white rice and Maggi sauce and white peppers. It's located in my neighboorhood so that helps. The bbq pork is made on premise too.

Everything there is definitely very tasty, but they cook their noodles rather on the oily side. If they dialed down their liberal use of oil, it would be perfect!

Thanksgiving turkey cooked as if it was a roast duck was awesome last year. Going to get it again. Kids are roast duck fans, having a turkey taste like a roast duck is pretty cool.

IMHO the best place for roasted duck and roasted pork. Also sells good french baguette. The line can be long. Open from 9am. Edited to added that this place only sell food to go. There is no seating here.

Hole in the wall chinese roast/bbq that has been around for almost 30 years! By far, my #1 place for ROAST DUCK. It's plumped, juicy, tender, savory and sweet...sooo delicious. It comes with the duck dripping sauce that you dip it with. If you want just more than duck, they have steamed chicken, roast pork, and other bbq proteins. Also, they do have baguettes and woven vermicelli noodles (aka Banh Hỏi) (which I completely recommend to eat the duck with) are side "carbs" you can purchase separately. I give it 4 stars because it's cash only, which is a bit inconvenient, the place is outdated/old, and I believe you can't dine in there anymore. It's more to-go.

This store is expert of Chinese BBQ for a long time. Roast ducks and piglets are the best among San Jose BBQ stores. Squid is tasty too. I will go back here for sure. I hope the store can look a little bit clean and neat. It will definitely attract more customers.

COVID SAFETY: signs at the door to state only 3 customers in the shop at a time (in english, viet & chinese), butchers wears masks correctly. Cash only chinese bbq that's been serving deliciousness for over 20yrs. I grew up in the hood in southeast SJ and its an establishment for peking duck. Great prices, most items are by the lbs but roast duck has to be purchased whole (~$22). Lots of traditional options: roasted pork belly, soy sauce chicken, char siu pork, calamari and some other delicacy is asian-american can do longer eat as an adult (it's sad, I know). EXPERT TIP: pick up some peking duck, walk next door to the supermarket and grab steam buns in the freezer, hoisin sauce & scallions to give yourself the full peking duck experience at home. ENJOY!

They claimed they had roast geese. When I got there they said they don't have it any more. Their BBQ port is really good but expansive even for Bay Area standards.

Quality of course have been going down drastically with bbq crispy pork. They might be one of the best but that was 10 years ago. With nowadays competition, they definitely felt of the cliff. Not recommended

They would put lot of bones in the box if you don't ask or look at what they chop. Make sure to come at time that less people, otherwise you will be treated very poorly. When the cashier look at you when taking your money, it could be that your boxes are more bone that meat.

I am not typically inclined to write reviews, however, I feel compelled to share my recent experience at this establishment due to the exceptionally poor quality of service and food. It appears that there has been a significant decline in both areas. I placed an order for roasted duck, which was unfortunately burnt and had an unpleasant odor when I arrived home. This was particularly disappointing considering the cost of the dish. It is unacceptable to serve customers food that is of such poor quality, especially when they have worked hard to earn the money to pay for it. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment and recommend seeking alternative options. I would only suggest visiting if you are willing to accept poor treatment and the possibility of being served old or burnt meat. In summary, I would not recommend this establishment and would not return myself.

The service is bad, the 2nd butcher talked bad about the customer right in front of her just because he said she did not know the language. When I confronted him, he became hostile and tried to stuff old meat to my portion. Would not recommend. I’d stick with the 1st butcher in the front - he’s nice and kind.

She responded to me be stating, "it's in the bag". I looked inside the box of the duck and saw only one sauce. I went back to the cashier and asked her if I can have an extra sauce. She responded to me in a loud voice, "you want another sauce! It's going to be extra $50!" (Asian accent) I was in awe as she was looking at me in a mean way. I looked at her in the eye and told her, "I will never come back there again". I've never had such a bad service. I was just asking for an extra sauce and she could not even give it. I spent $30 to be treated that way. Way to loss a customer!!!
