It’s a cozy place with friendly staff. They bake their pastry and cakes. I had green garden salad with tuna, blueberry scone, and latte. All good, will definitely come back.

We’ve been looking for a nice local cafe where we could relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee with delicious pastry. We were so surprised to find this little gem in San Jose where there is rarely a bakery/cafe that offers homemade pastry and food with ingredients fresh from the farm, at an affordable price, too. We had a great chat with the owner who shared with us how she runs her business and insists on best quality. They had a wide spread of mouth watering cakes on display, too. I’m already thinking to get one of those for my husband’s birthday. Highly recommend to anyone who looks for little local shops that offer affordable quality food and service that is so hard to come by these days.

my sandwich which I had put onto a fresh croissant was excellent. The pastry and small cake was excellent. Its charming and has been one of my favorites over the years, and possibly different owners. However it has always been an excellent choice to eat. My latte was a little bit weak considering, but the kind older gentleman who served me the second time, (possibly chef or owner) obliged and correctly rectified the situation, which I appreciated as I had a long day ahead. Pricey- but definitely worth it. Great lunch meet up place for sure.

Nice cafe that has cakes, pastries and a small selection of sandwiches,soup,and salads. I had the teriyaki chicken sandwich that was very good. Quiet atmosphere with soft music. There is a small parking lot as well. I did not try the pastries.

I have to admit it's been awhile since we went to Flower Flour. However, this morning my husband wanted to check it out. A little sad that the selection was underwhelming. We purchased lattes, an eclair and an oatmeal cherry bar. The coffee used for the lattes was good. However, the temp was warm, not hot! Not a biggie for me, as I microwave my coffee to extra hot when I get home, but my husband was sad that there was no foam. To each his own. However, our pastries were packed in separate small white paper bags. UGH! When I pulled out my eclair, the top came off! I may not be a baker, but I do know that the custard should have been piped in. It was just messy! Now for my husbands oatmeal cherry bar... I should have known there was an issue when the counter person couldn't pick it up with tongs. I told my husband to just tear the bag when we get home, since the bar looked listless. Again, I am not a baker, but the bottom of the bar was not fully baked and had to be eaten on a plate with a fork. Clearly, not a bar. My husband did love that the flavor of the cherries came through and the custard in my eclair was pretty good, but I think they need to hone up their skills and consider better packaging to justify their prices. $28 for 2 lattes + 2 pastries + tip. Maybe we'll try again in a couple months.

First, there's a little corner garden they have, which was renovated so that costumers can sit there, but now neglected again. I come here every now and then, but I have to take out my order, because that's the only way I can enjoy it.

Not the typical breakfast place a little limited menu and what there is a little expensive in my opinion

The owner is quite rude and deceptive. There was no sign indicating that dogs weren’t allowed. The clerk had agreed to let me give my dog a little milk as a treat, but then the owner came out and insisted I had to buy the milk. She also said that only service dogs were permitted in the shop and told me to leave. I finished my coffee outside and tried to speak with her, but she denied ever saying that dogs weren’t allowed. She’s a really sneaky and unpleasant person!

She was kind of talking nonstop and the whole cafe could hear them. It really ruin my day by listening to her talking all time over the counter.
