Came here trying to satisfy the nostalgia after 27 yrs of last eating this. However, it is very expensive, and it's still somewhat fast-food quality. I'm not sure it's worth it given the price.

The food was good for fast food chicken, but that's what it was. We had the chicken nuggets, 30 piece, a four piece bone-in meal, 2 orders of Yuka fries, 2 orders of regular fries, 2 beans, 1 rice, 1 plantain, and here's the kicker... We spent $169.00. I'm completely shocked we spent that much for fast food chicken to feed 5 people. Also, this is mixed with a bunch of other restaurants, so although it's a take-out restaurant only, it isn't the other restaurant at this location. It's good to order ahead too so you're not waiting. It took 30 minutes for our order to come out. For the price is better to go somewhere else.

I love Pollo Campero. Their food so delicious and flavorful. Today I used the $10 meal deal plus I had the $5 rewards so a $12 meal, paid only $6 then I received an email for a pick at 10:34 AM so I went there and there were tons of Spanish speaking customers waiting for their order too at the front of the store. The text message still in process and it was already 10:36 AM when I got to their location so I went inside and the lady at the counter said that it was 15 more minutes wait as mine was still being cooked. I got a text at 11:01 AM that my order was ready. I was already at my car when I found out that there was a bottled Pepsi and there was no horchata. I was gonna go back but I was already exhausted from waiting. The food was delicious and in excellent temperature. This a 3 rating because the speed of service, it was slow and I should not be waiting that long if the email sent did not have a much earlier pick up time. I will come back for food.

Fried chicken is ok and done properly. The crust was crunchy and the inside still juicy. It has an interesting flavor, but it was too salty for me. The empanadas was pretty good except for the meat inside was too mushy. My favorite thing on their menu is yuca fries because I just love yuca fries haha

I know this place just opened up I have order pollo campero about 4 times already at this location. But the last time I order the fried chicken didn’t have its original flavor like it wasn’t marinated enough:( now I have to go back to SF or bring it from LA so sad

Food was mid at best, and fried chicken wasn't fresh tasted old. I try and support cloud kitchens whenever possible, and I will give them another try. The flavor on the chicken was fantastic, and the price was very reasonable. Bean are outstanding

I know this place just opened up I have order pollo campero about 4 times already at this location. But the last time I order the fried chicken didn’t have its original flavor like it wasn’t marinated enough:( now I have to go back to SF or bring it from LA so sad

This is unbelievable if I could rate this place 0 stars I would!! We were hungry before our flight that we decided we had more then enough time to get some food we saw this place and it seemed pretty good WE WERE COMPLETELY WRONG! Staff was extremely unorganized and disrespectful! I placed my order at 1:30pm and was told the food would be ready by 2pm. When 2pm came around i was told 20 more minutes we waited the 20 minutes and were told to wait for a text saying the food was ready after that we waited another 20mins and asked to speak to the manager we were told no manager was available until 45mins from then that is soooooo unbelievable and what is worse is that there was no way to cancel the order!!! I missed my flight waiting for the food i never got!!!! I would never recommended this place to anyone! WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!!! I WOULD HONESTLY GIVE -10 IF I COULD!!!!!!!!

Absolutely terrible experience. Drove over 100 miles to this place since the one in Sacramento is still in the works. Waited almost 45 minutes for my mobile order I placed 15 minutes prior. Food was cold and meat was dry, they didn’t give me my sauces I ordered, and the guy working the window seemed like he hated his job and his life. While in LA I stopped at the Covina location and thought it was the best fast food I’ve had. I was very much looking forward to this trip. Extremely disappointed with the price as well for what I received.

I will give my opinion. This chicken from 1 to 10 (7 ) the truth and the customer service is terrible. the workers there don't help you. I don't know if they work for free. be more considerate.
