Okay so we ended up getting a to-go order for the shrimp it was ever so amazing we ordered two different flavors the whole shebang mi 1 1/2 lbs with two corn one and a half pounds of garlic butter mild as well. My favorite has always been the shebang. But the garlic butter sure does hit differently. The garlic butter has a kick to it but more garlicky which is my all-time favorite. I love anything garlic. Will definitely be getting that flavor again. Definitely ordered to go they give you the entire kit with tablecloth gloves you name it salt and pepper lemons and of course ranch! The reason I gave service a minus star and not five was because we didn't receive napkins even after we asked oh well other than that the food was amazing!

I’m absolutely in love with The Boiling Crab! From the moment I walked in, the cool marina-style ambiance made it feel like a seafood lover’s paradise. As a first-timer, the friendly and helpful staff made sure I understood the menu and how everything works, which was a great touch. Now, onto the food—everything was delicious! The sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the fried oysters were fresh and golden. My absolute favorite was the shrimp with garlic butter—so flavorful and cooked to perfection! But the highlight had to be the King Crab with Shabang Sauce—an explosion of flavors that’s a must-try for any seafood lover. I also had a margarita, which paired perfectly with the meal and added a refreshing kick. If you love seafood, this place is a dream come true. I can’t wait to go back and indulge in more! Highly recommend! 🦀🍤🍹

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crab Delight, a gem specializing in Louisiana-style crab dishes. From the moment I walked in, the lively ambiance and friendly staff set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The crab boil was the star of the show, bursting with perfectly balanced Cajun spices that brought out the sweetness of the fresh crab. The crab cakes were also a standout, crispy on the outside and tender inside, packed with fresh crab meat. The portions were generous, and every bite was a delight. The attentive service made the experience even better, ensuring we had everything we needed. For anyone craving authentic Louisiana cuisine, Crab Delight is a must-visit.

Asteroid Destroyer

This place is the bomb! You’ll enjoy if you are a seafood lover. Most of the dishes are priced on their weight. I do recommend the king crab, fried oysters and prawns. Also, the fries are very unique. It’s an expensive restaurant but definitely worth the experience.

While out touring properties in San Jose, we decided to stop by Boiling Crab for an early dinner. The wait wasn't bad, considering it was around 3 PM and they open at 2pm, we only had to wait about 20 minutes. What i like J’s as we wait we are able to enjoy a drink of our choice while waiting for a table. The food was delicious, although I noticed that the shrimp bags seemed to have less sauce this time around. It felt like they had reduced the amount of sauce, prompting us to order extra sauce for an additional charge, which wasn't a big issue, but it was a noticeable difference compared to previous visits. Despite this, the overall service was exceptional, as always. The waitress was consistently friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One interesting observation was that they allowed a lady to sell balloons to customers, which provided a unique form of entertainment, especially for children. Overall, I definitely recommend this spot. Arriving earlier to beat the crowd and minimize wait times is advisable, given that they open at 2 PM.

We stopped by around 2pm after a field trip with my family. They had a line still and it was a good 35-40 min to get a table, party of 3 on a Saturday. But, totally worth it. Excellent customer service, friendly staff and above all, food was amazing. We had shrimp & crawfish and fried shrimp & catfish and pfffff!! Tasty, fresh & well prepared. The Michelada was also a nice surprise, give it a try!

Two trips in about two weeks time should say it all!! Parking is usually not a problem as there are ample spots available. Once you get in, be ready to be in line for about 45 minutes to an hour (usually its faster than that) though the wait is every bit worth it for what's to follow. The atmosphere at Boiling Crab is casual and lively. The rustic decor, picnic-style seating, and upbeat music create an environment that's perfect for a laid-back, seafood feast. It's a bit on the noisy side, but that's all part of the charm and the vibe that you feel once you are in there. The service at Boiling Crab is outstanding. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly efficient. They guide you through the menu, explain the ordering process (which can be interactive and fun), and are quick to assist with any special requests. They make sure your dining experience is as enjoyable as possible. In our first visit Vincent was kind enough to even walk us through the process of dismantling the crab shell to get that quality meat out of the same. He did answer all our questions with regards the options available and did suggest along the way as well on what was popular vs what he liked personally as well. During our second visit Jordan was amazing and he patiently took our orders , helped us with our questions and made sure that we got nothing but the best when it came to that fresh, succulent seafood that the place has to offer. The seafood is incredibly fresh, and you can customize your order with a variety of flavors and spice levels. Whether you're into shrimp, crab, lobster, or a mix, each bite is a burst of deliciousness. The "Shabang" seasoning with is our favorite, but there are plenty of choices to suit your taste buds. The sides like corn on the cob and potatoes are equally scrumptious and perfectly complement the seafood. Boiled eggs too rank high in the list. In between the two visits, we did order the King, Snow (has a lot of spikes on the legs and can be a bit challenging to work with) and the Dungness crab along with Shrimp, Potatoes, Eggs, Sweet Potato fries and Onion rings. To sum it up, its an excellent value for a seafood feast. The prices justify the volume of food that is delivered which is served every bit fresh and the sauces/seasoning are to die for. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a seafood extravaganza in a fun and relaxed atmosphere!

Shufen Toh

The queue is crazy (you can save some time by making a reservation on yelp though) but the food is amazing (fresh and sweet). The service was excellent (lots of smiles and checking if everything is good). To top it all, we were so surprised when we received the bill - it was so much cheaper than we had expected. This is really good value for money, and I highly recommend it.

Nice seafood spot. They do get very busy. We planned to dine in, but after seeing the wait list, we decided to take it to go. It was easy to place a pick-up order. They gave us bibs, utensils, gloves, and table covers! Lots of seating inside and cool decorations.

This is still the best seafood boil in the bay area. However, they need to fix their system for take out orders. The hand off takes at least 3 mins per customer and door dash/phone in and paid in person orders are all mixed up in the pick up line.

Terrible customer service. I placed a phone order at 12:00 PM, but when I arrived at 12:40 PM, they had no record of it and denied that the employee who took my call even existed although I saw them shifting the blame to someone in the background. After 10 minutes of chaos, a server finally came over to replace my order and I finally got my food at 1:15 PM. Not once did anyone apologize for the mix-up, the lies, or the hour-plus wait for a simple takeout order. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Had such a rude experience here just now. Came to pick up an order and the man helping me (in his early 20s, brown curly hair) gave me the worst attitude about my order, implying I’d steal it, then proceeded to look at me with a bitter face and ask “is that it?” With an awful harsh tone. I’ve always had good experiences here but something is clearly happening with the customer service. Do BETTER.

It’s obvious they don’t care about improving because their restaurant is big and doesn’t worry about attracting customers—they’ve clearly given up on quality. Terrible experience at The Boiling Crab. The outside board advertised crab, crab legs, and live crawfish, but none were actually available. The seafood bag we ordered was completely tasteless—no flavor at all, and we had to dip it every time just to get some seasoning. The lobster was a huge disappointment. For $72 for 2 pounds, it was mostly shells and meat are plain and on top of that, the assist tool for the lobster claw was useless since it was too small to work properly. TV blurry as xx. Only the young guy helped us have nice attitude. But Absolutely not worth the price! If you’re craving lobster, I highly recommend trying a Chinese-style scallion ginger lobster instead—it tastes 1000% better and is worth every penny. Won’t be coming back here.
