Opinions de The Creek Eatery San Jose
Ohh weee this was hidden from me for years as I always drove by but never went in. I had some mushroom with white sauce pizza in Napa Valley and I’ve been craving it since. The Creek Eatery showed up on my search for something similar and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a fantastic spot with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The décor is exquisite, blending rustic charm with modern touches. The service was impressively fast and attentive, they gave me attention as soon as i walked in. The highlight for me was the Forest Pizza—the potato cream added a rich, velvety texture that paired beautifully with mushrooms. Definitely a must-try for wood-fired pizza.
Always fun atmosphere at Creek Eatery! They have limited menu but menu has good and quality options! We love it every time we go. It's good for date night or family dinner night!
Perfect casual spot for small to medium sized groups. Burgers are delicious. Recommend for any type of family.
Your standard American food eatery. Has a beautiful patio for outdoor dining w/heaters and etc. Came here with my parents and they like having wine out side and enjoy the energy. Food was mediocre for the price, but hey you’re in evergreen. Can’t really complain about that. Good for date nights, outdoor eating, and drinks. Personally I don’t see anything special about this place. I had a good time though.
Always good food. Wood fired pizzas and pastas you can't go wrong. The 🍔 are good too. Update they have really elevated the menu. If you haven't been lately do I yourself a favor and revisit them. Food is so delicious!

Great place for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch (BLT is a must). Much-needed social spot in S. San Jose gets its seasons right with a vast selection from the tap (and now cocktails). Food is California "progressive"--a variety of regional fusion that delivers a mix of stately tastes. Among my favorites are the Poutine (with chorizo gravy), a pumpkin seed granola shrimp, and a ceviche presented like no other ceviche I've ever seen. Oh, yeah the staff is attentive, friendly, and liberal with sincere smiles.
Great service! Great Monday Happy hour! Nice little neighborhood restaurant that offers italian-american cuisine.

We sat outside and the staff quickly lit one of the heat lamps that provided plenty of warmth. The service was the perfect mix of attention and privacy. We were able to order our drinks and given to enjoy them and our conversation before ordering dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. All made for an enjoyable evening out.
simple food and traditional american favorites, the difference is the food is cooked very well and with care. they will remember your specifications and accommodate well. the part I remember first is the friendly service service Favorites? The fried green beans. so crispy! I wish for the future they will have more plant based items, dairy and meats are hard to eat all the time

The ingredients are fresh, good service and nice vibe. In my recent visit, the ribeye steak and spinach are over seasoned with salt! 😑
Was sat promptly. Very courteous staff and knowledgeable about food and drinks. Simple menu but tasty. The drinks were excellent (margarita made simple and right). The garlic fries were crisp and fresh with nice fresh garlic. The pizza (Hoggin It) was just ok. Could have more flavor in either the meats or sauce. The crust was good though, thin and with just the right amount of chew.
This restaurant totally surprised me—it was way better than I remembered from my last visit! We decided to swing by on Valentine’s Day (a Friday, no less) without reservations, and somehow, we got lucky with a spot on the back patio. 🍀 Sure, it was a bit chilly, but the heat lamps did their job, and the ambiance was *chef’s kiss*. ✨ The string lights, cozy furniture, and decor made it feel like a little hidden gem. 💡 Our waiter was super friendly and came over quickly to take our order. ⏱️ The food arrived fast, too, which was a nice bonus. We kept it simple with a Mexican pizza, garlic fries, and steamed mussels. Let me tell you, the pizza was a standout! 🍕 It had the perfect thickness—not too thin, not too doughy—and it held its own without getting soggy. I’d say it’s close to NY-style, which is a big win in my book. The chorizo and red onion combo was 🔥, though I skipped the jalapeños (not my thing). 🌶️ The mussels were solid, especially with the toasted bread on the side. 🥖 It was perfect for soaking up the tomato-based sauce (though I’ll admit, we were expecting white wine sauce, so that was a slight curveball). 🍅 As for the garlic fries, they nailed it—just the right amount of garlic without going overboard. 🧄 The dipping sauces (aioli and ketchup) were a nice touch, too. 🍟 All in all, it was a great experience! I’d definitely come back, especially for that patio vibe. 🌟 8.5/10—would recommend! 🙌
This is the local general "American" restaurant we tend to go to when we want to do a little celebration, greet guests from out of town, or just treat ourselves to some just a bit more upscale but don't want to go beyond our local neighborhood. It's got a decent selection of wines, has an nice tree-covered patio seating, and friendly service.

We held a group luncheon for 28 on the patio. The staff was excellent throughout the planning as well as during the lunch. We recommend for large groups

Decent, but too expensive for what it is, even as a San Jose gastropub. Their pizzas use good quality ingredients, but our margarita pizza was a drippy, wet mess with tomato juice soaking through the thin crust, letting all the toppings slide off as you took a slice. The chicken sammy was a well cooked and seasoned pounded chicken, but with an underwhelming slaw on top that wasn't more flavored than the salad next to it. A big missed opportunity for more crunchy veggies, pickles, or gardenia. With an already salty chicken, the complementing vinegar or mayo kick you'd hope for is mysteriously absent. The chicken also sat plain on the lower bun, turning it into a hot soggy bun over time. For $22, you would expect much better. The burger was the biggest let-down, with an under seasoned beef patty, bland cheddar cheese, and a sweet marmalade which while I guess is unique and distinctive, was upsettingly sweet - like what you would top on a pancake or toasted English muffin. Service was fast and efficient, great staff took care of us through and through.

pretty uninspring food if your a foodie. the chicken breast is brined heavily in salt but yet grilled to be very dry. the meatballs app. is 100g per meatball you get three , heavy on the breading. service slow because one server for entire lunch rush [they werent busy]
Ordered to go , ordered a vegetarian pizza which they put sausage mush on ?? Do not know why, called to get replacement, the pizza is ok as mentioned sausage is mush lumps not crumble like others, original crust is dough tuff you may want to try crunchy crust ?
Nothing special. We went there on a Sunday and I ordered the brunch breakfast. It was barely enough for a young child. I think it cost about 20 bucks. They're so-called country potatoes are boring. I could have made them myself and believe me much better! Sadly the silver Creek area doesn't really have any good restaurants. Mexico lindo is much better though. But still their cuisine isn't great either. Poor service, and nothing original. Won't bother again
