We visited this place due to its good ratings. The staff is friendly and the bubble tea is great. The worker offered to help us out when we weren't sure what to get. The best bubble tea I've had.

LOVE Tpumps. Pumps of differebt flavors all in either a base of black or green tea. I love anything with lychee or guava but they had a special cookie dough mix yesterday that was just amazing. And it's even a pokestop!

Very quick service and great tasting tea. There is no place to sit however they do have some standing tables. There are a lot of ways to customize the drink including flavoring and sweetness. A great place to grab a drink with a friend.

They have the best Boba tea in town. Always a line, be patience. I always order from customer favorites list, but some people are really creative in their ordering. Staff is always friendly and not rushing you as there is always a long line behind you. :)

Great selection of teas. They have a lot of options here, and you can have the tea made exactly how you want it. By that I mean you can choose the sweetness level and all that. I recently had the coconut pineapple green milk tea and it was very good. I would definitely recommend.

This is a great PMT (pearl milk tea)/boba shop if you're into the fruity flavors. Don't come here and order a plain black/green tea like I did my first time. It's very nice to be able to make your own combination of fruity flavors and I appreciate being able to adjust the sugar content of the drink. Parking is a bit difficult and the shop itself isn't very big (no seating area) and the line usually goes out the door but it's never too long.

Love their flavors!! Edited to add: they are notoriously bad at adding your number for rewards. 10 points get you a free drink and most times you lose on the points since the cashiers don't put it in the system. Make sure to tell them your number and ensure they put the number correctly for your rewards.

Great drinks and loved the option of customizing your own drink. Drinks were great and can't complain about it if its too sweet because you're the one that selects the levels!

Just about the widest selection of tea flavors you can find. Go for reduced sweetness unless you have an extreme sweet tooth. Try the samples while you're in line; some flavors work surprisingly well together.

Amazing price for the size and boba consistently. Definitely one of the top 3 best boba places on a tuesday. I went to Tpumps yesterday and got the milk tea boba. I love Tpumps very much because of there quick and easy service. What’s nice is that they have flavors for taste testing and sometimes I love them so much I get that flavor. I’m not that big of a boba person but I think Tpumps is for everybody.

You have to go here on Tpumps tuesday!!! This boba place has enormous drinks for really affordable prices(discounted on Tuesday). I recommend getting a mango passion-fruit vanilla black milk tea with half sweetness and extra boba. It's my personal favorite!

Customer service is great. The ambulance is fun. And the drinks are absolutely outstanding I would recommend this place to anybody who's looking for a boba tea. Even if you're not looking for Bubba. It's a good drink place.

Best boba shop ever! Customer service is outstanding and food quality is great. Definitely been coming here since it opened 2 years ago. The new location is better than the last one so worth the trip!

Best milk tea and boba spot in the Bay Area. Lines are usually 15-20 min but I think it's worth the wait for the quality. Try coconut black milk tea (light sweet) if you're feeling milky. For a refreshing drink, try blackberry tangerine black tea no milk or rose peach green tea no milk. Always get honey boba. And if you don't like it, they'll brew a new one up for you at no charge.

You have to go on Tuesdays. The free size upgrade is a godsend and the flavors are wonderful. I definitely recommend the green tea with milk, basil seeds, lemon, lavender, and passionfruit or the green tea with no milk, basil seeds, kiwi, pomegranate and lavendar if you're not sure what to try.

Boba is life. Crazy long lines during the summer and the team pumps them out super quick. Lots of flavors always samples available. The parking situation could be better but not really their fault.

TPumps is literally theee BEST boba tea on earth! They are very reasonably priced and awesome staff. You won't find a better boba tea... they are simply the BEST. I LOVE THESE GUYS! Always great! Always come to satisfy my craving for milk tea. The employees always give the place an upbeat environment, the drink preparation is fast, the drinks themselves are always good (haven't found a bad combination of flavors yet) and never too sweet. Overall, this is a convenient place to get tasty milk tea.

Loved the boba! I usually get an Almond Roka boba and it tastes amazing! Even though on weekdays the lines are pretty long, the line goes pretty fast and in a matter of minutes, you are waiting on the other side for your boba to come which takes abt a minute. If you are in the mood for a variety of options to choose from I'd recommend Tpumps!

I had Tpumps multiple times and I usually get Rose Vanilla Green Milk Tea. Trust me, this particular drink made my day and my vibe happy. I recommend this drink to anyone who comes first time to this famous 5-star boba place. Lastly, I will still come to this boba place and try out new drinks that they offer.

The only thought--holy heck is the large size large. It's not just large, it's gigantic--they're generous with the boba too AND it's literally always a custom drink where you pick the flavors you want, all for a bit over $6??? The exterior of the store itself threw me off a bit, but the interior (and the menu board) are pretty cool.

Absolutely love coming here. They offer daily specials of tea (without boba) for an incredibly reasonable price. They offer samples of a daily special as well. The boba is great and incredibly customizable. They have a bunch of fun flavors and combos. The staff is super friendly and the drinks always come out quick.

It's always nice to come in on a Tuesday and get the extra big size for the same cost as the regular size! The sheer number of flavor combinations you can create is pretty overwhelming, so I would suggest looking at the menu before you come in for the first time. The boba here is always good in my experience.

So many optionsssss!! One of the best milk teas I’ve had. Don’t let the low cost fool you...the teas are strong still. I always get mine less sweet. Today I tried coconut mango green milk tea and my fiancé got the Neapolitan 🍦 (both less sweet). The cashier is friendly and let us know that they can remake any drink if we don’t like it. They also have great recommendations so there’s always something for what you’re craving 😋.

My favorite boba place around!!! There’s such a large selection of flavors and the price is totally worth the quality. The wait is either 2 hours or not at all depending on when you go but the wait is totally worth it!

A nice pmt shop with a friendly staff. The pmt is very customizable (from flavors to boba to sweetness) and you can combine up to 3 flavors. Their free samplers (showcasing new or possible flavor combos) are very refreshing. It is a little pricey, but they come in huge cups.

I LOVE Tpumps. This branch has the same great quality that I get in the San Mateo branch. My favorite is the smoothie with black tea, less sugar, boba, and either honeydew or guava flavor. Be warned though that there are literally only 3 Tpumps parking spaces in the lot behind the store. So you're better off parking on the street.

Good consistent boba. 1 star down because the line is always out the door. Waiting times are perpetually ridiculous. That was once acceptable because it was the only boba place of the kind nearby, but with so many boba places opening, the line is crazy.

The flavors and the amount of flavoring they put in the drinks are on point. Not like other boba tea places, they mix their flavors well.

I love this place, tea tastes good, staff is super friendly and gave me a free tea when they messed up my order. But most of the time I want tea is in the morning when they're closed, 11am is really late.

One of my favorite boba places. By far the best boba / tapioca / pearls of any other boba shop. The almost endless combination keep this place from becoming boring. The only complaint I have applies to all T-pumps is that it never comes with enough. The drinks always leave me want more boba.

tpumps is pretty good even though some people do not like the artifical syrups. personally I get too overwhelmed at the amount of flavor choices and what to get so most times I don't get anything at all. I wonder what all the flavors mixed together would be like. usually I get the sugary dessert flavors like marshmallow but the fruit sample teas they have are so good. hot tea from here with boba is also a (good) experience.

I made my own and combine the lychee, rose, and peppermint flavor. It was a great combo, though I couldn't taste as much of the peppermint. Get the honey boba!!! I would recommend getting no sugar (unless you want it really sweet), because the honey boba and the syrup already adds sweetness.

The go-to for flavored bubble tea. There is usually a line, but then the boba is always fresh and not overly chewy or blobular. Staff is friendly and helpful, and there are usually tea samples available throughout the day.

Quick service, great drinks, and a trendy vibe. It's truly a godsent on those blisteringly hot days when you need something refreshing and sweet with your choice of flavor. Only knock is that the parking is a bit limited and cramped.

Amazing drinks and excellent service! My only complaints are their lack of toppings (no lychee jelly, etc, only boba and popping boba) and personally I would prefer if the tea was more naturally flavored, and not with flavored syrup. However, their tea tastes great and the boba is great as well! They also customize your drinks accurately, the way you requested, with the correct amount of sugar, etc. They also have free samples always! And the $2 fridge is full of tea drinks you can grab for just $2! If you go here, make sure you get the whopping 32 oz pumpbo sized cup! It’s only $4.50!

The employees are nice and there is always a fun atmosphere in the shop. The place smells AMAZING. The size of the tea is also a pretty good value for your money. My only gripe is that the actual tea tastes pretty watery.

A small unassuming alcove of a place with a colorful menu that is a typographical hurricane, Tpumps had me as a visitor for the first time today. I got the "salted caramel cookie dough black tea". This mouthful of words can be seen on a "Tpumps customer favorites" menu, which has about 10 combinations of flavors with short descriptions. These flavors will help if you don't know what to get. This tea is very sweet. I got light sweetness and I still had to pace this drink over 1 hour to avoid getting sick of it. I can't say I didn't expect it, given my choice of drink, but I imagine drinking at regular sweetness would have instantly killed me, or my appetite at least. Go light! The honey boba that they gave, however, was by far the freshest, softest boba I've ever had at a boba place, so I probably came at a good time. Props to them for that. The flavor was rich, yet smooth. It was about as balanced as a salted caramel cookie dough collision could be, and every sip felt inviting, and comforting. 8/10

Good but not great. It took me a 2nd try to actually like this place even more. Personally, it's an average Boba drink spot albeit they do have a variety of flavors that you can personalize to your liking -that's probably what they're known for & maybe even the popping boba that bursts when bitten. Depending on the location, you can get decent service or below average service where the cashier doesn't even smile & act generous. But if you want something milky & lightly sweet, I would go with what a previous post stated: Coconut black milk tea, lightly sweet with honey boba.

If you like Asian-style milk teas, boba, etc. this place is pretty good! My family and my brother’s family were at Home Depot across the street and wanted something to drink besides soda. Tpumps was across the street. There were sooo many flavors to choose from and the boba were prepared just right (not too firm or mushy). Good to know as I was visiting the area and past milk tea places I visited were just so-so. I’ll def go there again!

Great teas. Lots of choices to customize your tea to your mood and liking. Really refreshing and delicious. Reasonably priced and good sizes. Nice, friendly workers. Bare-bones interior, but you come here for the tea, right? 😉 Parking is limited so could be tight during busy times or when it's warm weather and the line is out the door with people waiting for their drink. Definitely worth a try!

Turns out there's a thing called Tpumps Tuesday where a large (32oz) is the same price as a small (24oz). I shared a pomegranate-passion-green tea with honey boba. The honey boba is sweeter than (non-honey) boba from other tea places, so even though we ordered "less sweet" the drink overall was still a bit too sweet. If I come again I will order "no sweet" and see how it goes. My sister doesn't like Tpumps because the tea flavor doesn't come through the flavored syrups and I'd agree with that. As other reviews mention, the main appeal of Tpumps is that you can customize your drink with (up to three) flavors. If you're going to be having a highly flavored drink I don't think you can expect the flavor of the tea itself to shine through it, so that didn't really bother me.

Im not sure why this place is so popular. The staff is very friendly and the tea is fine I guess. This store is a bare bones tea place, nothing special. Full disclosure, this was my first time trying bubble tea and I didn't much care for it.

Tpumps. This is the hot teenage spot for boba/pearl tea in the bay area now (went with my teenage brother). It seems like it's cold stones for pearl tea. They allow you to mix different flavors, however I have been warned don't mix mango. Also ask for light sweet or no sweet, since it can be very sweet with all the flavors. I noticed peach, lychee and honey are good flavors to use (not necessarily together). Overall I think the pearl tea is above average with a good job cooking the pearls. However I don't think its worth the wait.

Not bad. It has an okayish taste. I had Thai tea which was good and tasted the same as any Thai tea. I didn't like Hazelnut almond tea which may not be my cup of tea

They have large portions but it's basically sugar water. You have a lot of choice for drink flavors, but personally I'm not a huge fan. I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. I am puzzled why there is always a long line considering the*meh* quality of the drinks.

Kids love it, me not so much. The idea of mixing and matching flavors is an appealing one, but I’d rather they had fewer but higher quality flavors. Also very much on the sweet side. Decent pearls.

I've been coming here for years and I enjoy their boba! I would say the only downside is that it can get really crowded here, and since the building isnt equipped to have a high volume of customers so the line usually spills out the door and making your way to the front can take a really long time since they only have one cash register

The lines are usually long, but that's probably for self advertisement since the line is in front of a busy street.The line leads in and then leads out. They're isn't any seating,so this isn't a place to go to hangout. The smallest size was about $2.95. I had the Mango Passion black tea with boba and milk; The flavor was just like any other place. Overall this place is decent. If there's no line, and i happen to be in the area i'd head to Tpumps, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

Annoyed that they moved to this new location instead of keeping both open. The line was 40 minutes. I got two Eco straws and only one free drink. All that said, we like the teas and my kid will want to go back. It's just an hour of a chore now.

Used to go to the Cupertino location a lot and I've been to the San Jose location several times. It's pretty mid now and way too expensive for what it is ($6 for tea mixed with syrup). Much better options around the same pricepoint like Sunright Tea Studio.

One of the cheapest boba drinks I've ever had but also one of the most sugary. I asked for 25% sugar but it felt like it was 100%. Couldn't drink more than half of it. On the bright side it was efficient and quick.

This is the dollar store of boba so I can only complain so much. I think this one is next to a Trader Joe’s too which is a plus for grocery shopping.

First time here because my friends recommended it and because its near my place. I liked the variety of flavors and options and was pleased to get my drink quickly, but from the beginning, I was disappointed with the service the female cashier gave me tonight. First off, I said “Hi how are you” and she replied to me with “not yet” because the customer ahead of me was getting money from someone? I didn’t think much of it and waited, but when it was my turn, I asked her the difference between tpumps and pumpbo and she waves to the cups as to point out the obvious. I realize there are regulars, but anyone should be able to point out with my initial question that I wasn’t one. The rest of my conversation with this cashier was more bs and ended up making my friend refuse to order anything. Your drinks can be great, but without basic customer service skills you’ll drive more people away.

Their tea flavors taste so artificial and syrupy. And the teas are soooo sweet. Even when I ordered mine "no sweet", it was unbelievably sweet. Probably because they over-sugar their "honey" boba. I certainly didn't taste any honey in it.

Not going to lie, this is by far the worst boba place I've ever been to. I don't understand what's up with other people's tastes, but in my opinion, their drinks just aren't authentic and good. Let's begin with the fruit teas. They have a variety of different fruit teas with intricate names like "green apple passion fruit kiwi black tea," etc. However, all the fruit teas just taste like sweet watery juice. That's it. You can hardly even taste any fruit flavor despite the name of the drink. The tea flavor is very fake and artificial (seems like chemicals), and the fruit flavor is just a sweet syrup that makes me sick when I drink it. There's no real fruit in the fruit teas either. None of the fruit teas I tried taste even a little bit good. Way too sweet. You might as well be downing a bottle of highly concentrated sugar-water. Next, their milk teas. They have honey boba which is quite decent just like any other boba place's boba, however their milk teas are too much on the milk side. Drinking their milk tea is like drinking milk with some weird tea flavor which doesn't even taste like tea. Their milk tea seems artificial and it isn't authentic at all, just like how their fruit teas aren't authentic. (Also extremely sweet!) The staff are also decent, but sometimes get impatient with you. (Some of the staff are okay and some are sort of nice.) Overall, T-pumps just isn't the ideal boba place I would go to. There are many other better options out there with authentic tea drinks: Happy Lemon, Gong Cha, etc., but I just can't get myself to like T-pumps' drinks.

Really doesn’t deserve the good reviews. My peach milk tea with boba doesn’t have any milk tea taste, all you can taste is the artificial flavor and my less sweet is still way too sweet. There was barely any boba, and it tasted kind of like it has been way over cooked. Didn’t deserve the price. Don’t try this place

I am a loyal customer who comes here every week to buy boba. The service has always been exceptional by the same group of 10ish employees - they were always nice and honest and the boba was always good. However, I came in today ordering boba and none of the employees I usually see were there. The cashier girl was very snobby when taking my order and always had a disgusted look on her face. When I handed her my bill, she FORGOT my change! She literally counted the bills and yet "forgot" the change, which I assume was 100% intentional given her snobbish behavior. When I was about to ask about it, she immediately took the order of the next customer without giving me so much as a glance. I have been coming to this store for 3 years and never had this bad of a customer experience than this day. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here very often anymore.
