This vons chicken is the best in bay area. Also this location has the best service and food quality. I ordered crispy fried chicken(half spicy and mild) and Yang Num chicken. First bite, it was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside! Also I ordered side dish Tteok Bokki and onion ring. It was good too.Highly recommended to anyone who loves fried chicken!

Got the oven padak and crispy mild chicken with japchae (beef noodles) & kimchi fried rice as sides. The food was good, the price was fair, and, best of all, the service was super quick (we got our food in like 5 minutes).

***BEST WINGS IN THE TOWN*** I am beyond happy that they decide to open this location in South San Jose. Their wings are the best in the Bay and for this location specifically, I love how much honey butter powder they give you in one order. My favorite dishes are Spicy Fried Chicken with Honey Butter, Spicy Vons Special Sauce Chicken, and Sams Oven Chicken. I have brought so many friends here and they told me they would come back for more. Highly recommended!

If you have not tried their Bingsoo, try it! One of the best I had around the area. Unlike other Bingsoo, it was well layered with great amounts of ingredients. The chicken is still good quality and tastes. 👍👍👍👍👍

Online order was on time, and everything tasted delicious! Only nit pick is that we ordered sweet potato fries and they were not crispy. Should have sat in the fryer another 30 sec to a min. I was there a few mins before order was ready and we live 5 mins away so they didn't get soggy because of sitting around for too long.

I went here for lunch today and I definitely enjoyed it. I had the fried shrimp and the chicken rice ball. The fried shrimp was very crispy, but it could have been seasoned better. It had a nice dipping sauce, so I’ll give it a 7.4. The chicken rice ball was very nice. It was on sale today for 2.00. For that price, it is huge. It is fried nicely and the chicken is flavorful. The honey mustard on the side was also flavorful. However, it was a little oily, but I’ll still give it a 9/10. The lady at the front counter was one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Service is 10/10. I would definitely recommend this if you want some good fried bites.

This was some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. The drums and wings were perfectly crispy. The medium spice was plenty. I could go for the full, but the medium head plenty of heat and didn't over power the dish. Had it with plain Steamed rice. I would rather try the fried rice next time, but I was happy with my meal.

Haven’t been here in awhile. The fried Chicken is always good. They have a walk in deal of half drums and get 50% off and other half drums. Kids and I like the sauce. We also got a side of rice. Fries are ok. All chicken comes with pickled radish and a cabbage slaw.

The food was tasty and had the perfect amount of spice. All of the chicken dishes came with cabbage slaw and radishes, which I appreciated. The only shortcoming was that they were not very welcoming to us and the service took much longer than other Vons Chicken locations.

The kids like the crispy fried chicken with soy sauce. But mostly they loved the fries smothered with cheese and garlic! So, we come here for a fake from time to time. Easy online or at the store order. Update on Jan 2025: there is a lunch combo ! Yay!

This place was easy to find since it sits on the corner facing the street. It's theme is Korean style chicken and dishes. It was okay, because I'm used to actual Korean flavors, and this was changed a bit to American style. I tried the garlic roasted chicken and it was a bit sweet without any garlic flavor. I also got the rice cakes, aka tteokbokki, and it had vegetables without authentic Korean chili paste. I would come here again only for a quick bite, if I couldn't find anything else. Pros: Free parking outside, they allow indoor dining and have a few outdoor tables, service was fast and counter person was very helpful with a bit of a confusing menu, restaurant and bathroom was very clean. Cons: portions were a bit small in my opinion, and flavors were a bit off than what I was used to for Korean dishes, menu was also a bit confusing when selecting combos.

The most important thing is - the chicken is prepared not in the same way vons chicken supposed to be. Sauce is supposed to be applied to the fried chicken evenly. Instead, I got fried chicken and sauce dumped on it.

The chicken and batter are nearly flavorless and tasteless. All the flavors are in the dipping sauce. The skin and batter are very crisp, if that's important to you. KFC is much better.

I order veggie Kimbab compared these two pictures you tell me this looks same or not. Veggie kimbab or dried leftover kimbab? I didn't know why they offered soy sauce now I know why. I couldn't taste any veggies whatsoever plain worst kimbab I ever tried.
