The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is both upbeat and relaxing at the same time. Music is the perfect volume, so it's not overwhelming and the service was incredible. The woman who seated us in the beautiful silver belt was so welcoming and inviting which set the tone for me and my 94 year old mother. Our waitress, Kimberly, was beyond perfection. As lovely as her gorgeous dimples. Truly wonderful service. I highly recommend Famous Dave's in Columbia. We drove 40 minutes just for this experience.

The restaurant was clean and we were welcomed immediately. We ordered the All American Feast for our family of 5 and we took several boxes of food home with us. All of the meats were abundant, smokey, and full of flavor. The coleslaw was incredible and had a touch of horseradish in it which was a welcome surprise. The muffins are sweet and incredible. We will be back soon to try other options and their expansive list of 'Famous' drinks. The sweet and sassy sauce was our favorite mixed with a bit of the devil's spit hot BBQ sauce. 10/10 recommend you try this place.

We were in town from Virginia and made it a point to come back here after our last stop here a month prior. The food is AWESOME and exactly what you want when you say you have a craving for BBQ. Plus we had a SUPER sweet waitress named Kimberly (a Hispanic girl). Definitely coming back next time we are in town

Amazing food! The signature meal was full of flavor, the catfish fingers were perfectly crispy, the brisket was tender and delicious, and the onion strings were the perfect crunchy side. Drinks and deals made it even better!

Very Good Food Good Service Good Ambience Went here on a Friday evening for an early dinner. We tried the feast for 2, pulled pork sandwich, and some kids menu and a beer. The feast for 2 was big serving and enough for 3 easily. The meats were fresh, flavorful and tasty. Really enjoyed the meal, will be back for more.

Haven't been here in a long time. But the food was good and my waitress Jenny I believe that was her name. She was really nice. Went here tonight and sat at the bar, the bartender was really cool and he knew what he was doing when he was making them drinks. He was very polite and made sure I was good with my food and drink. It definitely seems that the sides has gotten smaller. I had greens and I had more juice than greens and they were a little bland. They needed some seasoning/flavor.

I truly do you like Famous Dave's. The server we had was really nice, the atmosphere was very quiet, and it wasn't crowded at all. Most of the time when we go it's pretty empty. I'm not sure why that is. Maybe people are ordering more take out than anything. Staff was very friendly and nice. And the food wasn't too bad. This place isn't what it used to be, but it's not bad at all. There cornbread is to die for. It's probably one of the most amazing things on the menu LOL.

This was our first trip to Famous Dave’s in a long time. Our family of 4 all enjoyed our meals and my youngest found a new love for catfish fingers. Everyone we encountered at the restaurant was very welcoming and our server was great.

Had a really good meal. I got the ultimate burger with coleslaw on it, and it was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The place wasn't busy at all so plenty of seating was available. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the service was a little slow, which was confusing because it was not very busy. Would definitely go back though!

I ordered the pick two meats, I got the ribs and fried chicken. I ordered their signature baby back ribs with sauce on the side (I like to taste the establishments flavor profile before adding sauce). The flavor of the ribs without sauce was pretty good. I actually preferred them without the sauce. I am not a big fan of their signature sauce. The fried chicken was good. Very flavorful and tasty. The garlic mashed potatoes were good but not a very garlicky taste, like I was looking for. I was not a fan of the collard greens. Overall, I would get the ribs with no sauce again, as well as the fried chicken. Great and quick service.

There used to be a Famous Dave's in Edison, NJ when I lived there. Used to go once a week to get some catfish. They closed up. Been a long time since I went to one. I sold my house and moved back to Maryland(thanks for taxing me TO DEATH NJ!) and there's a FD in Columbia. Been there twice already. Food was good. I only had one issue: The catfish fingers were SO SMALL, you'd need to use a magnifying glass to see them! Damn! What the hell happened?! I love how companies "reduce" the size of products and then raise the price like you won't notice. Are you serious?!!! They taste the same as I remember but they were "tiny!" I was like "are some of them missing?!" Sad. Other than that, it was fine.

I ordered on uber eats. The food was fine however I ordered baby back ribs. The ribs they sent were definitely not baby back ribs. The ribs tasted ok but I wanted what I ordered, they were not baby back ribs. If I try them again I’ll just dine in but I don’t know if I will. It’s pretty off putting when you are sent the wrong item and not able to address it right then and there. I ordered uber eats because I didn’t want to take the long drive so as much as I wanted to let them know about the ribs, I wasn’t for taking the long drive and we had already been waiting.
