This place is great. I have been here about 8 times since I found this spot. It's a taqueria, not a full-blown restaurant, so know what to expect. What they do they do exceptionally well. I will focus on tacos. I have had their tacos de Carne asada, Carnitas, Pollo Asado, and Al Pastor. Where I think they excell is on their Carne Asada and their Pollo Asado. The carne asada is fresh, grilled, not dry, quality cuts, and a healthy serving per taco. The pollo asado is also grilled, fresh, moist, quality cuts with a healthy serving per taco. Both are simply seasoned with salt. They garnish their tacos with cilantro and onion. They use yellow corn tortillas, which have a great corn flavor, don't fall apart easily, and add depth of character to the tacos. If you order 2 or more tacos, you can make it a plate and add Mexican rice and beans. For beans, you can choose from black beans, pinto beans, or refried beans topped with cheese. The rice is flavorful and moist. The beans are creamy and tasty (I have tried all). The Carnitas are moist and not salty. The Pastor is the kind with pineapple and is on the sweeter side. Both are good. None of the food I have had is salty. The staff are courteous and quick. This place is located by an HS, so timing matters.

I had pass this place many times and decided to try it. I bought a carnita torta which was delicious. I also bought the chicken flautas which comes with your choice of beans, rice, sour cream guacamole salsa. Every thing was really good. I didn't think to take a picture of the torta but did get a picture of the flautas. Next time I am going to get the fish taco and shrimp burrito. 😋 (you have a choice of fried or grill fish).

Shut the front door and just order the flautas dude. I've ordered them for a week straight. These guys kill it. Good, tasteful, honest Mexican food. Go get some. I always recommend calling it in or using an app to order ahead. I use Door dash to order ahead and it's ready wicked fast. Love these folks!

Nice little burrito spot, fast service, friendly staff, able to customize anything you want to order, the few times ive been there the meat was a little burnt and some ingredients were missing but overall solid spot I do have hopes that they would add a California Burrito on the menu since they have something similar called the Haystack (which is like a California burrito but with some extra stuff) but i figure over time i can customize my own to my liking, happy to see it close by me

We have order from this place multiple times it good food but this time we ordered on the phone the lady taking our order kept messing it up and was yawning 50% of the time we went to go get the food the tacos we ordered had no cilantro and onion and one of the metro bowls we got had a hair in it besides that were not sure if we’ll be going back there.

Got a Regular Carne asada burrito! It was ok . Didn't really have any flavor use salsa for taste and flavoring. I ask about the shrimp burrito. The lady at counter doesn't like shrimp! So that wasn't to helpful. Maybe next time I will try the flautas.

I had their fish taco the other day. It was very good and service was friendly so decided to come back to try other items on the menu. I orders the protein bowl with fried fish. $17.86. The salad was fresh and gave me enough lime and radish. However, they refused to give me a bit more candied pumpkin seed when I asked them because there were just Very little seed in my salad and cant taste the dressing...that was very weirdly disappointing tho they have very fresh food. Oh well.......

Over priced and bland flavor not authentic Mexican my kids love tocos and they only ate one then said no thank you there not good, workers are very friendly and helpful though and the place looks very clean we got 3 tocos, 3 fries and 3 drinks fries tast like they where fried in old fish oil tocos where soggy from a 3 min drive.

this place lacks flavor. i got the enchiladas dinner, I'd like to say ketchup was used for the enchilada sauce but that would complement this dish is way too much. their enchilada sauce tasted nothing more than a warm red flour and water mixture. just awful. i had more flavor out of the 99 cent store frozen dinners. the meat all tasted the same too. chile verde el pastor, carne asada.... its a shame if you cant tell what you are eating.

This burritos disgusting for fifteen dollars It was supposed to be a super burrito, but it looked like a regular burrito size. The flower turtle was undercook it was just disgusting never go there again

I called to place an order Saturday night right at 10:30 pm and she the girl who answered said they stop taking orders at 10:30 I asked her it’s just that time could you please take my order she said no. I don’t think they care about customers they just lazy to perform a good job.

Their sign says that they were open till 11 pm. Thecashier was super rude. There was a couple waiting fortheir food when I walked in. The cashier called them to pick up their food. The lady politely said it's for here, to which the cashier yelled at them. Well, We are about toclose, you have to take it TO GO (mind you they stillhad 45 mins until closing), then the woman said okay,then she asked her for some mayo to go, to which thecashier yelled at her again, We don't do mayo to go. The woman, ohh, okay and walked away. I've ordered a burrito and as I was eating, and it wondered if they actually put any meat in it. Tons of sour cream, i think it was just rice, sour cream, itwasn't really good. This is also not the first time that I've seen employees from this location have an bad attitude.

Do not order their supper burrito. I ordered two today and it was 31dollors. the problem is that for a 15dollor burrito i expect a lot more. they were 95% rice and beans 2%guacamole and sour cream and finally i found some meat. dry as hell. never goo going there again.

I’m so annoyed with this place. They forgot a few items I knew I should have checked before going home. The only thing that was good was my Burrito asada and shrimp but made me sick to my stomach in the morning. Don’t recommend due to the poor service and food quality. The tacos for my sister looked dry.

This place has fallen off horribly. Used to be one of my reliable go-to's for Mexican food in San Leandro. But both the quality of food and service has dwindled through 2021. 3 bad experiences in a row. Hope y'all get it together.

Kevin, who was working the register was multi tasking answering the phone while the order was being placed.He got the order wrong giving meat tacos instead of the veggie ones I ordered. I do not eat meat! So I was unable to eat with the rest of the family. They had no humility when I called to express that he got my order wrong! I will not be going to this location anymore!

Terrible service. Kevin took my order was answering phone in the middle of my order didn’t even put caller on hold took their phone order while I waited then asked me to repeat order just to still get it wrong. This location needs better customer service skills

I ordered 1 taco. The cook was fast to make it. But the rude, fat girl with the fake eyelashes, blonde hair and bad attitude purposely left it sitting before handing it to me. Then she purposely tipped the plate so all the meat would fall off the tortilla. Didn't even put it in a to go box. She's bad for business.

Horrible!! Spent $48 on 4 burritos and there was hardly any steak in any of them. If we didn't drive so far we would have taken them back for sure. They were all rice and beans. Save your money, this place sucks!! They were so cheap with the meat there wasn't a pound of steak between all 4 burritos. Never Again!! I want my $48 bucks back to be honest.
