I was visiting SLO for a soccer tournament and needed coffee for a very early morning Sunday. Scout was absolutely amazing: the staff were very friendly, pastries were spot on, and the almond latte was the creamiest I’ve ever had. I also loved the ambiance and the good tunes that weren’t loud or overpowering. The vibe the cafe has is like you’re sitting in your clean kitchen on a Sunday morning and you are about to have a very good day. I’d make it my regular spot if I ever move to the Central coast.

Scout Coffee is always solid. Usually the place I go to when I’m in SLO they have a couple different locations maybe even a few. When I’m here I alternate between Cold Brew, Lattes and a regular drip. They have some special Matchas right now matcha with strawberries and matcha with lemonade they looked pretty good will probably try one next time. They have a Scout Cookie that’s really good and they have different scones that rotate im not a huge scone guy but there’s on top of the creative flavors are really good. Try it out I definitely recommended can’t go wrong with this place, solid coffee.

Wonderful! Staff is friendly, pastries are fresh baked every ml morning - even Sunday. Had the ml morning bun. Wow! Coffee is on brand and love the environment. Good job Scout!

Centrally located in the quaint historic downtown, on a side street with little traffic. Handicap parking spot right in front of the shop. A few tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the sun. Large, bright interior with bright sunlight shining through the window. Plenty of seatings with high top and regular chairs. While busy when visiting there was basically no wait. Served quickly by a young, friendly and attentive associate. Good selection of hot and cold beverages and nice pastries. Counter area and tables were kept very clean. Great quality and reasonable pricing. Excellent find, will be our must stop when coming to or passing through SLO!

The sunlight streaming through the large windows combined with the greenery created such a relaxing atmosphere. I loved the laid-back vibe with locals casually dropping by. The coffee menu was diverse and everything I tried was delicious. I stopped by while traveling, but if I get the chance, I’d definitely love to visit again. Everything was perfect!🤍

Very nice coffee and a good setup in downtown SLO. A popular spot and the service was good, with our coffees made quickly. Nice books and spots to sit for dining in and also while waiting. ☕

Every time we visit SLO we have at least one visit to this downtown location of Scout coffee. It is usually very busy but the staff there is on their A game and takes care of customers very quickly. The space is airy and bright with some seating inside and out. Staff is always friendly and helpful as they are in all the Scout locations. There’s a good selection of coffee beans to take home. Good selection of fresh baked pastries and cookies. I got an almond milk latte with maple and sea salt, one of their seasonal flavors. It was really good. Friends got some cold brew coffees. My one friend wanted a growler of cold brew to take home but they don’t offer that here.But everyone left happy, thanks Scout coffee.

First time in this restaurant and definitely trying it again in my next visit to SLO. I loved this coffee place only bad thing it was full (On a Saturday) Good for business but not good for my first time wanting to have the full experience. I sat at the outside tables, it was a very nice morning to sit outside so I enjoyed that environment a lot. The service was fast-paced, friendly and organized. The order took some time to come out but I took into consideration how many orders were ahead of me. I loved their sweets I tried two; chocolate croissant and blackberry almond croissant. So delicious!! My coffee was a latte with oat-milk and the sunshine syrup which was tangerine and cinnamon…. Amazing!!! Their serving sizes were big enough to make it my breakfast meal instead of a snack with coffee. I recommend this place note; my experience was outside I spent little time inside, made my order, pay, take my order and eat outside. It was marvelous. I took the dishes back inside of course I ordered dine in but I did it “dine out”. Inside well you must enjoy places where you wait until a table gets empty and possibly wait until is cleaned or you clean it yourself with what you can etc. I’m sure the service is great enough that they would help you out in any way they can to accommodate you. Again I went on a Saturday maybe is not like that everyday. Hope you enjoy it as much or better than I did.

I’ve been to Scout Coffee three times so far and if I lived in the area, I would come here daily. The staff is super friendly, the location is amazing and the coffee is always very good. I usually get a latte and in the afternoons, I might grab a cookie too. Last time I got a ginger molasses cookie that was awesome. Unfortunately, my wife ate most of it so I had to go back for another and then realized it was $3.50 each. That’s a lot for a small cookie but it is tasty so I’ll just go with it. This shop seems to be a strong local hangout and considering just how many coffee and breakfast shops there are in this area, you must be good to survive. This is certainly one of the good ones.

I decided to visit because it was pretty close and I had seen their reviews, which encouraged me to try it. The atmosphere is quite bright, although the experience was a bit mixed. The coffee was okay, but not as exceptional as I had expected. I tried their latte with wilderness syrup and while it had an interesting flavor, it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The pastry options were limited and not very fresh. They’re fine but not the best.

Hey I literally never do this but your teas do not have enough leaves to water ratio, I knew this and added an extra tea bag and it’s still not enough, for 16 oz it should be around 4 tablespoons of leaves this is about 1. $8 for 2 tablespoons of leaves is kinda outrageous.

The space is super crowded and noisy, with many people using it as a remote office. The coffee is pretty standard, nothing special, and served in relatively small portions. On the upside, the pastries look great
