Love this place’s boba. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly! I love how they have soy milk as an alternative to dairy. Also, they can sell pure boba in a cup, while most other boba places can’t do that. (I use the boba in drinks that I make at home)

Best boba place in SLO. Drinks and the toppings are always consistent. Their popcorn chicken is always fresh and I like being able to control my own seasonings.

Favorite boba place in SLO. The owners reminded me of my time spent in Taiwan and did not make a fuss about making boba milk tea 1/4 sugar (unlike Sweetie Cup in downtown). They even had me taste the tea and approve before they finished the drink. Would highly recommend for boba near campus.

If you're looking for good boba and not super expensive, this is your place. There is a pretty wide menu selection for types of teas and there are different boba options (regular, mini, lychee, popping to name a few). You definitely get a lot of boba for what you pay for. The wait is not too long and the location is close to campus, so there's always an outlet for boba!

Its becoming a regular stop for me on my way home from work. Quick, nicely priced items and so far every boba drink I've tried is delicious. Great staff too

We've been coming here for years now. I love how they wrap their crepes handheld which makes it super convenient to eat. Their thai tea is great too!

POPCORN CHICKEN...GET IN MY BELLY. Milk tea and popcorn chicken literally reminds me of my high school days in Los Angeles. This is the perfect combination. Something savory washed down with something sweet. This place is great! Fast lines, great prices, good variety of options, and it's been very consistent. Service is also friendly and welcoming. It's next to a new Pho joint which makes coming here more convenient. I can get my Asian fix in one area. Easy parking as well.

Been coming here for years for the strawberry snow bubble (wife) and a matcha milk tea (me). 5% of the time the matcha has tasted a little stale but it may have been because I added boba pearls and wasn't used to the flavor. 9 out of 10 times it's exactly what I expect; fast, tasty, and a fair priced.

Went here twice. Boba was good but the only size you can get here is a large. Came here a second time and ordered an almond milk tea and the boba was not good. It tasted like it was old as the outside was soft but the middle was hard. My girlfriend got the honeydew snowball and she said it was really good and her boba was pretty fresh. Not sure why the boba was different between the 2 orders.

Good stop for a quick snack. Service was quick and friendly and was not busy when I went around 9pm. I got the oolong tea which was tasted exactly the same as many other boba places in the Bay area. There is large menu to select from.

Nice little place for Boba. They have an average selection of flavors and I have to say that is among the few places that I would consider taking a small detour to by from, since it had good flavor. It does not get a 5 star rating because there was nothing outstanding about it. I usually reserve the 5 star rating for places that have something outstanding.

Boba stop has an standard selection of teas and add-ons. I have been to places that rival Boba Stop in flavor and in price. However, those places are not in San Luis Obispo. I like this place mostly because it is close to the Cal Poly campus. The store itself is rather small. I haven't been to the place while it is busy, but I imagine it could get pretty cramped in there. The atmosphere is acceptable. There are some tables and chairs for you to sit at while you wait. The drinks here are on the border of acceptable and good. I've brought friends here and they say "its okay". Other than the drinks, there are crepes and other snacks. I've only tried one of the crepes and it was good.

Arriving: Location was ok. Decent looking. Not too extravagant. Service: Wasn't very helpful. Person was only standing on register. Didn't recommend any drinks Drink: I got a Jazmin Bubble Snow. Something I never had. Was ok. I'd rate the drink 6 out of 10. 10 being the best. Price: Same as all boba drinks but alittle bit pricey for its "quality". Overall = A place to get a quick boba fix in a hurry. Other than that, it's a skip.

Update 2/18/2023. Since our last visit in Apr 2022, something has changed with their drinks. Didn't taste as good as prior visits. Seems like owners changed. Time to find another local boba place on future visits. _____________________________ Decent variety of drinks, good tasting and price. Amount of choices could be a bit overwhelming for the first time or occasional visitor. We liked the Blueberry, lychee and mango slushy drinks w/ milk & boba - all were good.

I drank a lot of bubble tea in my life. Checked out this shop and bought an original black milk tea with boba to see how it would be. Had it made hot so it best brings out the consistency and flavor of the boba. Boba was hard and clearly old from the day before. Milk tea itself is ok, not great. I don't know why they don't post their prices on the menu either for their drinks, but it was $4.25 for mine, which is terribly expensive for the quality I got. Would not go back again unless I am desperate.

Been here a few times, it was good once so we kept coming back but . . . It’s really gone downhill. Flavors are overly sweet and taste almost perfumy (jasmine, strawberry, and thai ice tea). Iced was lukewarm with no ice in it. No bathrooms for customers, either. Not a dealbreaker at all but just a heads up if you have kids with you.

This is our usual spot for my family but the last time we were there the drinks all tasted different. A guy was making them and I don’t know if he is new but he wasn’t using enough ingredients to make it taste like they usually do. If we see him there next time we are just going to leave cause it was a total waste of money on 4 drinks.

I had my sister and cousin who came to visit from Alaska went to this place for boba and lady who claims to be the manager says the machine is broken while I know a friend of mine has gone to get there order right before they arrived and so they went to boba the next day and saw a line of people so for sure the machine must be working but then instead this time she refused to take there order do to some conflict outside the boba store that happened at Firestone with her son in slo and my little brother which my sister had nothing to do with and she’s been going for years till now that the lady decides to refuse her order because our little brother and the managers son dislike each other. That’s bad for the business makes and I feel like that should be a problem outside of the business not just cause she works there and decides she doesn’t like us so she won’t take our order, I understand if something happened inside the business would be a reason for her to refuse service to us but she’s just making the place look bad come on boba stop have better employees that can and know when to keep there problems outside the business. Also the place has no sign that says they’re allowed to refuse service my sister took a video of the place where no sign was to be found and that “manager” just has some issues that she doesn’t know how to control.

The girls were nice but the Boba drinks were horrible. They tasted weird like dirty dish rag🤢 waste of money.

The crepe was terrible I got the butter and sugar crepe and there was an insane amount of sugar I was just crunching into sugar every bite

Boba drinks are watered down and crepes are thick and undercooked . My daughter ordered a slush that had no taste and we asked if we can have another one . She did not bother to exchange it but told us it is what we ordered . They should be out of business .

Horrible Crepes. I got charges 7 bucks for a Nutella strawberry crepe and they tried to tell me Nutella didn’t come in it. Rude. Bad service.

I ordered 1 Thai tea snow bubble with boba , milk tea with boba, popcorn chicken and Nutella strawberry crepe. The woman took my order and read it back to me. She had one headphone in one ear. When I got my order let her know nicely that I didn’t ask for strawberry popping boba, and she said no. And looked angry. Then she shows me an order in the computer that says milk tea with boba. No where did it says strawberry and she was still angry at me. I told her she doesn’t have to remake it she can just use the strainer to remove the popping boba (that I hate) . She proceeds to violently toss my drink in the trash. And give me no eye contact. I was hesitant of making this review because I’ve never had a bad interaction at the boba stop before until today. Even as I waited for my order a guy placed an order on the computer and said “hey I placed an order but didn’t get a receipt, I didn’t know if I needed to hand it to you” and she just held the receipt to show him with no smile , no words, just looked annoyed like using her voice would be too much work. She needs to cool it with her temper. I will not stop going because of this experience but I just thought the owners should know.
