Always excellent service here. The Large vanilla and chocolate's shakes are delightful. Fries were so-so on this visit (many were short and/or broken) but still tasted great. Delicious cheeseburgers. Love In-N-Out!!

Long walk from the dock, but an Animal Style burger for perhaps the last trip to the US for a few years was in order. Fries aren't that great, IMO, especially compared to NCL's, so I did without. I bought shirts, otherwise about 14$

I've been coming to this In-N-Out since I was 6 years old. Now, I'm 28, places around have changed, I've changed, I've moved away, moved back, moved away again, moved back again, but there will always be a fresh double-double with onions calling my name here.

I got the animal style fries and vanilla shake. So good!

Service that you can tell is well-trained. Open late and line is well organized with cones and associates to guide traffic. Burgers are the best in town. Always a perfect balance of signature taste, especially the animal style. Shakes are delectable. Fries not so much when they often overcook. New late hours keep them in my late snack runs.

Love this place. Everything that is hot is hot and everything that is cold is cold, which makes the perfect hamburger.

A nationally ranked burger chain - been serving since 1948 and should easily hit their 100th anniversary. Be the "animal fries", a double double (I like mine with fried onions) or the delicious strawberry or chocolate shakes - really can't go wrong with your food choice, the exemplary service nor the dine-in or drive through experience.

I always order my burgers mustard fried because then they come with pickles. My other tip is to order your fries “well” so they will be crispy. This is a great in n out location with helpful employees who manage the car lines and a big parking lot where you can park and eat in your car late at night. We visited at 10pm or so on a Friday and barely had to wait to order.

In N Out on Western Ave in San Pedro! I just want to say that Aviana was working the drive thru window, to add to that she has amazing customer service. When I pulled in and ordered she was very helpful and nice!

The drive through line was very long,but we parked and there was no line to order inside. However, we still had to wait a while for our food. I recommend the veggie animal style and fries for vegetarians. It's veggies in a bun but yummy.

I just learned that you have the option of adding pickles to your burger. So good.....and my burger and fries were hot(more than warm...but not scalding) when I left the drive thru. Plus they were still warm when I arrived home.

I grew up coming here. It's always a treat. I've known so many people who have worked here so it's hard to give it a lower score. The food is usually good but like any place, there are times the burgers aren't up to par. This last time, the burger was perfect, exactly what I wanted. The staff here is always kind to me so no complaints there. It's always busy which is why it's getting 4/5 stars. The location is small for the amount of customers they get but they work hard to make sure everyone gets fast and friendly service.

Like all of their locations. They always have customers. The place is clean and not too crowded in general as some other locations. Service is their normal great. As usual, the best hamburgers in California, period. You can’t go wrong having a burger, French fries or milkshakes at In-N-Out, add some grilled onions or chopped yellow peppers and thank me latter. Cali vibe with its exterior tables or if it’s too hot outside, interior with air conditioning.

First time at In-N-Out—wish we had one in Kentucky! We stopped here on 12/29/25 around 3:53pm for an early dinner during our 1-year anniversary vacation. This was my first time ever eating at In-N-Out Burger, and I loved it! I really wish we had one in Frankfort, KY where I live. In fact, I wish we’d stopped at another location before heading back home from vacation—it was that good! This location was super busy but handled it exceptionally well. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were professional and efficient despite the crowd. Great experience all around!

We are from Illinois, and there is no way we are missing out on In-n-Out burgers while in LA. We ordered the popular animal burger, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The service was amazing, pleasant cashiers, not too much wait time considering the rush for dine-in as well as takeout. Noticed tables were cleared on time and workers were really on top of everything, making sure the store functions well.

Great place, clean and fast service. This is really close to the Cruise Ships so its easy to take a quick bite and then head to the port. Tons of parking outside and plenty of seats available. Ubers available in the area as well.

The quality is almost always consistent, the drive-through can take long most times depending on which hours you go. The items I tend to go for most are protein style burger and animal style fries with yellow peppers on the side. I wish their burger patties were thicker but this hits the spot and I love coming here when I can, when I lived out in New Mexico a few years ago when we would visit from New Mexico to California we would always look forward to stopping in Arizona because that is the closest in and out prior to entering the state of California.

I mean honestly who doesn’t love a good in n out burger? I prefer this over any other fast food in this city. The line moves fast but sometimes is not worth the wait. The food is always good never ever in 20 years have I had a bad burger from here. The customer service is always excellent. I would be giving it 5 stars however the Portions seem smaller and the condiments seem to also be shrinking. I blame this on inflation mostly but if you are charging more then I should be getting the same as before. Same amount of lettuce onions and tomatoes along with fries nevertheless I will still come here.

I love this In-n-Out. Ever since I moved to my apartment down the street in late 2013, I've felt very fortunate to have an In-N-Out near me. This place has been consistently great ever since I started coming. Typically, I use the drive thru whenever I come but occasionally I might eat inside if I hit up the Ralph's conveniently located in the same plaza. I think the drive thru is a little better overall and moves faster than eating in which is why I prefer it. Now, the drive thru itself can get messy. That's my probably my only complaint with this location because of the way the little parking lot gets chained up to direct drivers. I feel if you want to eat here earlier, it's just better to eat inside. If you want to eat get food after 9:30, then take out becomes a better option. The drive thru can look intimidating but the staff keep the line moving efficiently. The interior itself is quite clean. I think they did a small amount of re-modeling since the pandemic as it feels there might be less seating than before. But it's still a good place to stop off and probably the overall best burger joint in the neighborhood.

In-N-Out Burger was something I was told I had to try while here in LA and I was taken there on day 1. It doesn’t really count as fast food because it’s so busy that there’s quite the wait. Not sure what's happening with the quality of the burger patties, but I just spent $10.00 on a combo I ate 1/4 of. Why do the patties taste so dry and gamey all of the sudden? I have nothing bad to say about the service , but the quality of the burger is no longer what it used to be.

I'll never understand the attraction and popularity of this chain. I've had it maybe three times in my entire life and it's never gotten better. Dry, tasteless fries and a paper thin patty. I only came here because I was on a date. Maybe it's the special sauce or something else, but I got the protein style with nothing on it except pickles. I think it's probably the sauce or bread that is probably what people like because it's really not that good. Not worth the wait, even if you go inside.

The patty now looks like and tastes likes McDonalds. It is a very thin patty you see on from a cheeseburger from McDonald’s. The bun is good, but you can’t see the patty anymore on it if you look from the side. Prices didn’t change, so I am guessing they are saving money by using thin, pre-made patties like McDonald’s.

My favorite one. Been here on multiple Saturdays, almost no line and plenty of seating. Best location! Changing the rating bc every time I say no salt on my fries, I find salt all over my hands. If it’s not being taken seriously, remove the option.

Food is great. Love the cheese fries and animal fries. 😋 Only thing left a nasty taste in my mouth was the young woman who took my order last time I went there. She had the biggest attitude and then proceeded to stare at me and my wife after taking my order. Even when she stepped away from the register she still was staring at us with a attitude. Made me feel like I should check my food before I eat it which is not a good feeling from a place we love to eat. What was the problem you ask? I honesty dont know 🤷 maybe she was having a bad day. I waited a little to leave this review in hopes of getting her name which I did at a later time and its Darqui. We've never felt this way at in n out before as they usually have great customer service and food to go with it. Hopefully they can fix her attitude because I know In N Out is big on that.

This passing Friday 4/12/24 at around 8-10 pm was busy but not as busier than usual. That is why we went inside to order specifically 2 burger meals. Took them 15 mins to give me the first burger, waited for the second burger never got called. Showed the ticket to the lady calling the orders she stated they lost the ticket ok. Took them another 15 to make the order again, of course they got the order wrong asked for no onions they added extra onions. My son finished his burger before I even got mine. Did not even bother to go back because then I would spent more than half an hour waiting for a burger! I did notice one of the employees leave/clock out then come in as a guest got her order automatically this happened when I was still waiting for my order. Plus fries were cold staff that night was VERY unorganized sad to say ! Never had a complaint about this IN IN OUT , but that was a horrible experience!!

If you decided to dine in at this location just know that workers are rude and they will have you waiting 40 min for one plain hamburger… They jump orders so even if your order is out they won’t give it to you and if you ask them why are higher numbers being called they’ll tell you to wait and if you ask again they’ll through your cold food on the counter and here!!!

Ordered combo #2. Fries were mostly small pieces. Even salted they had no taste. Flavor of the cheeseburger was inconsistent throughout. Some bites had a burnt taste, other bites were almost flavorless. Sorry, but won't visit again

Previous review: Unfortunately, this is the first In 'n Out where I've had the order made incorrectly in a couple ways. And not that they heard me wrong, that's understandable for anyone. But the order was read back correctly at the speaker and the first window, but after I got my food and left, I realized it wasn't what I ordered. It was a one-off issue, but I can no longer brag to my out of state friends that In 'n Out has a 100% rate of of order correctness, that makes me sad :(

This location on Western Ave in RPV needs to SERIOUSLY PLEASE GET TRAINED ON HOW TO MAKE CRISPY FRIES. (The other locations that DO know how to make great crispy fries are: Carson St, Inglewood, LAX area locations, and so far every stop on Hwy 5.) YOUR crispy fries are so bad - they are consistently dried out and the furthest from crispy. It's like chewing on a piece of wood. This whole pile of fries (in the photo) is inedible: dried out and hollow. We've returned fries to you, and brought this to your attention multiple times over the years. We've talked to the customer service number, BUT NO IMPROVEMENT AT ALL. Management is obviously prioritizing getting the cars pushed through over superior fries. That's why CARSON STREET is WORTH the drive time and effort - when we go to Carson EVERYONE is happy. Your RPV location on Western just doesn't take the TIME to do crispy fries right. The rest of your food is A+ ... Please please please take this to heart and give us what we know you can give us. We want to invest our money closer to home. UPDATE: I've been to this location twice since my review. First time extra crispy fries were decent! Next visit DRY DRY NOT CRISP. Please give us consistency. This is why we keep going elsewhere.
