The food came out piping hot and very flavorful. We had crispy calamari, angel crispy shrimps, basil-pad kra pow thai spicy with chicken and pad thai with shrimp and chicken. A nice hidden gem in San Ramon

This was our second time ordering from Cha Thai and it was even better than the last time. My favorite was Pad See Ew with beef. The flavors were fantastic and at medium heat it was perfect. I still enjoyed the Basil Eggplant a great deal. Something about Thai basil is amazing. Tom Kha was excellent. Very creamy and fresh with plenty of chicken, cabbage and tomatoes. The flavors were terrific. Will definitely order food again.

One of our favorite and regular place we visit for Thai food. The owner is very nice and courteous. The food is great, price is regular. Try their Thai curries. One of the more ordinary dish which I don’t recommend is chicken satay. Had to edit and change the review.. we had Chicken Satay again, and they have definitely improved. Loved the Tom Yum soup too today, it was great too.

It’s the kind of dish that makes you annoyed you ever ate a worse version elsewhere. Service is calm, attentive, and respectful, not fake-cheery or rushed. If you think you’ve had the best Thai in the Bay Area, you probably haven’t. This is the benchmark.

Some of the greatest curry broth I've had. Top 2. Wonderful atmosphere, sweet ladies who take great care. Very laid back. Its the kind of place that surprises me how empty it is sometimes!

We came here as we wanted some Thai food while we were near the location. The restaurant was short staffed and the front was managed by one lady single handedly. She still got us our seats, took our order and served us one of the best Thai food we have had in ages. I do hope they get more front staff soon. Will definitely come back again or put a go to order.

Pad thai and drunken noodles were very good. I liked their Basil fried rice and pineapple fried rice. We asked for soft tofu instead of fried one in fried rice dishes. They made sure we got that. Quality was pretty good.

The potstickers were okay, but really tasted like they were the already frozen kind that were heated. The eggrolls were trouble. They were mushy on the inside, very doughy. Overall I recommend this place and we will definitely go there again however I hope they do a better job with the appetizers.

Food tasted good , we ordered the eggplant basil & garlic pepper stir fry shrimp . My only complaint is the amount of shrimp wasn’t enough especially when you add $3 extra . Other than that i would eat here again . The lady who served us was great& checked on us couple of times asking if we need anything.

Ordered Pad Sew Ew, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles to go. Overall pretty good. Drunken Noodles though, it tasted oddly sweet.... Customer service was excellent! Super friendly worker that I have encountered!! Encourages me to go back to visit because of this 😊😊

Used to come here regularly but recently the quality of the food has declined. The curry sauce is thinner than before and we have noticed that they seem to be skimping on the protein and portion sizes (yet prices have increased despite this). Even the plain rice portions are smaller now. Very disappointing since this was our “go to” Thai place for takeout for the past 3 years.

We ordered calamari fried , chicken wings and beef basil fried rice.. all foods quantity was very few compare to price and other restaurant.. basil fried rice was full of vegetables.which was large amount of only veggies..and very low portions of rice and beef . It was not sufficient for a one person.. very disappointing.

Wouldn’t be a problem except they acted like they didn’t want to remake my food and told us “I hope that wasn’t your friend that took it”, insinuating that my friend who was with me and I were running a scam on them. The lady at the front also asked us for our names when I had already given her my name with my order and information. I don’t appreciate being treated like a criminal because of negligence on their part. They also remade my food with meat in it instead of tofu, so as a vegetarian I couldn’t eat it. Very disappointed with this treatment and would not return!

Eventually they remade the order and I bought a tea but when we went up to pay for my drink and pick up her order and when we walked up they said “i hope that wasn’t your friend” and asked us for our names as if she didn’t give her name when showing her her order confirmation on her phone. so insulting when you were the ones that apparently didn’t check to see if someone else before us had an order confirmation or gave someone else our order on accident. being insulting and making us uncomfortable because you aren’t competent enough to check your orders is so rude and weird. When we got back we realized my friends soup had chicken in it despite the order being tofu because she is vegetarian so she couldn’t even eat it. I told my mom and she said she doesn’t even go here anymore because they messed up her order last time too. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this was a genuinely upsetting and weird experience as well as a waste of money.
