El McDonald’s de Donostia es ideal para una parada rápida y agradable. El servicio es ágil y atento, las instalaciones siempre limpias y el ambiente cómodo para disfrutar en familia o con amigos. Sus hamburguesas y menús mantienen el sabor clásico que nunca decepciona. Perfecto para cualquier momento del día.

Outstanding experience. San Sebastián is of course known for great cuisine and this place lives up to the highest standards. Food was excellent, friendly service and an all round great experience. Perfect for two people with sharing dishes on the menu, or for larger group sizes. A good variety of fine menu items and served in a refined setting with good wines.

Visited first thing when they opened, we did not have reservation as it was a last minute plan to try this out. Good thing they had available seats for us. Though I suspect because latter November is off season. Otherwise suggest to make reservation ahead. Staff were very friendly and nice, thanks to Cindy who made the whole experience for me and my dad last lunch in san sebastian a wonderful experience. they also gave really good recommendation on the food and wine pairing since we ordered Ala carte. Everything about the food's taste, quality, portion, pace of service, and how they ensure it was ok for sharing for me and my dad were perfect for us both. They had really good txakoli and rioja wine selection, ysios specifically. Definitely coming back next year again and try the other dish. Cannot wait

This place is BY FAR my favorite restaurant the whole time here. Perhaps I had really high expectations of San Sebastian, but I find the three michelin Arzak a little underwhelming, and the popular pinxto bars too chaotic and unpleasant. This place is nestled in the basement and when we got to dinner, it was a nice mix of locals and tourists. The service was friendly (not a guarantee in this city) and the food omg the food. I had started to lose hope in the food in this city until I tasted the dishes here. They started with a refreshing gazpacho and beautiful wafers. The wafers were so thin and a little nutty, absolutely delicious. The bread here was stunny, crusty on the outside and moist on the inside - a definite must order as most of their dishes have sauces they are so good you just want to wipe it up with bread. We ordered ala carte and each dish just left us hungrier - that’s when you know a restaurant is good. They had baby mussels in season which was served in a homemade marinana sauce - what delicate and sweet mussels, and the sauce was earthy and satisfying. The spider crab with pil pil foam was equally outstanding - chunks of marinated hot crab meat which blends well with the aromatic garlic flavor of the foam. Heaven. The squid in its own sauce was another winner - perfectly cooked squid in umami black ink sauce. My favorite dish of the night was the local ceps mushrooms with runny egg. The mushrooms were so aromatic and exploding with flavors from being cooked in spanish sherry and pepper, such a delightful dish. They serve a good selection of spanish wines by the glass and dessert was equally outstanding. The pistachio souffle blew me away, rich pistachio cream amidst a light souffle and the figs with cream was very good as well. Definitely will be back whenever here.

tasting menu without wine: Had the tasting menu and was impressed by the purity of flavors. The spider crab with pil-pil foam was unforgettable — rich yet airy. The roasted egg in Idiazabal cheese broth felt like comfort food with elegance. Tuna was seared perfectly, pink like a steak but with the sweetness of the sea. Iberian pork loin was tender, lifted by a bright herb sauce. Even the bread from Galparsoro bakery was outstanding. A true taste of Basque honesty.

I had an unforgettable experience at Bodega Alejandro. From the moment I walked in, the warmth of the staff set the tone for the evening—they were genuinely accommodating with pescatarian substitutions, making the entire tasting menu feel tailored without missing a beat. Every course was a thoughtful balance of tradition and creativity. The leek royale with mushroom consommé was delicate and earthy, a perfect opening. The marinated anchovy with peppers captured the essence of Donostia in one bite, while the spider crab with pil-pil foam was rich and decadent without being heavy. The slow-cooked egg with Idiazabal consommé was comfort and elegance in a single spoonful. The fish dishes were absolute standouts—the grilled tuna with spring onion and piquillo peppers and the grilled hake were both cooked with precision and carried the kind of flavor that only comes from respect for the ingredient itself. Dessert was no afterthought either: the seasonal fruit with mascarpone cream refreshed the palate, while the caramelised French toast with ice cream was indulgence at its finest—golden, crisp, and impossible not to finish. The service matched the food—attentive without ever being intrusive, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest felt welcome. Bodega Alejandro isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to experience San Sebastián’s culinary soul. If you’re looking for a meal that’s equal parts comforting and extraordinary, this is it.

The food was excellent, we had the spider crab and the Txuleta with fries, a green salad and peppers. Affordable for the quality. We went with the our two kids 9 and 10’and everyone loved it. The service was slow but it was busy and it seemed like maybe only one waiter was taking the orders but everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere is unique, being downstairs. I would dine here again.

We ordered the tasting menu, which was absolutely a fantastic meal well worth the price you pay. Starter was this interesting wafer with some white soup? This seem given extra, and was interesting and quite delicious. The trio of leek consommé, marinated anchovy and crab with some form, was a good mix. All quite different, all complemented each other well. The slow cook egg with a bit of truffle was a combo that worked. The grilled hake was cooked perfectly, absolutely delicious, and the highlight of the meal. Pork loin, was tender, but a little ordinary compared to the excellent fish. Dessert was ok. French toast was soaked in syrup, but the cheese ice cream, although sounding a little strange, was interesting and we enjoyed it. All in, fantastic value for money tasting menu and highly recommended!

I’ll do my best to keep the reviews short and sweet as it get longer For me Michelin starred restaurants offer an experience which is a combination of the food, the tastes and presentation but also as important the service which I expect will be spoiling Judging by the criteria above, our experience wasn’t perfect but was still very amazing I’ll start with the menus, I like to take a tasting menu but when there are thee dishes I can’t eat, it took some attention to find replacement, I’ll explain later why this wasn’t the best experience but once we sorted the alternatives we could start - we also added the wine pairing. The balance of the portions, between portions which reset the flavours before introducing new flavours was done brilliantly, there were clear transition with palate cleanser portions which refreshed the mouth. The amount of food was very generous. At the end, we couldn’t fit a mini biscuits when we were done and I’ll be honest we thought we were done and still had two more things to eat (one on the menu and one that wasn’t) Another point to know, the cost was very fair for a Michelin restaurant a I’ve attached pictures of the menu for reference but this is a very good value ratio to cost The few negative nuggets, We popped over a day before the booking to tell them what we don’t each eat so they can plan to offer replacements but when we came there was no memory of our visit the prior day Our table was wobbly which I did not expect at a restaurant such as this I didn’t really feel that there was experience with the wine options All in all, a great experience and I would highly recommend

Our group of 4 had the spider crab, teardrop peas with egg, mushroom and scrambled eggs, which were all great. I particularly loved the ham consomme. The Txuleta was good but did not stand out. The hazelnut soufflé was amazing!

My partner and I wanted to try the tasting menu from at least one of the restaurants in San Sebastián. Bodegón Alejandro had great priced tasting menu and on top we went for wine pairing option. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and gave great knowledge about the wines they were serving. We came with no expectation and we did not even know it was a Michelin Star restaurant not until the next day. We had the absolutely great experience and food was so worth it.

Lovely spot and easy to see why the Michelin guide like it so much. Lots of locally inspired dishes, in terms of cooking methods and ingredients. The tasting menu was outstanding. Delicious dishes, perfect portion sizes so you leave satisfied, but not stuffed. Staff were lovely and the local wines were excellent, with some grapes that were totally new to me.

Así es como un responsable que se llama Juanjo, muy bien afeitado y peinado, me atendió muy educado dándome una solución cuando necesitaba ayuda. El resto de empleadas también fueron muy atentas y agradables. He entendido también que al tratarse de un restaurante muy bien situado en San Sebastián, hay siempre muchísimos clientes y trabajo. He de surgir que desde la última vez la sensación ha sido muy muy sorprendente para bien. La limpieza y orden es lo que se espera de un servicio. Gracias por mejorar. Pedidos k no se atienden correctamente su es frío o es caliente, en el primer caso date por ..... Por k no saben dónde está dicho pedido frío, esto nos ha sucedido 9 de 10 veces k hemos estado aquí. Y hoy es demencial mucho personal nada de limpieza y para dar el do de pecho un solo baño para todo el local encontrándonos unas 20 personas en el consumiendo. Eso no se si tiene nombre supongo k será culpa de la crisis de quién quiere ahorrarse un tiempo en limpiar en vez de dar un buen servicio. La escusa ha sido k están de obras, me han dejado con la boca abierta, ya sabemos k esto no es un arzak pero al menos lo mínimo, buena atención y seguimiento de los pedidos y k se pueda ir al komune son tener k pedir perdón. Hoy hemos cuento a dar una oportunidad con un pedido sencillo , increíblemente siguen igual de mal y hemos tenido k pedir la devolución del dinero.Recientemente he vuelto y sorprendido ya k han corregido todo lo anterior. Limpieza y servicio aún les queda mejorar alguna cosilla pero.... ahora se puede ir.

Walked in around 230pm and had a tasting menu by myself. Saw it was a Michelin 2025 restaurant, my expectations were high, but it turned out was just a 4 star experience. Perhaps it's because of the time closer to their 3pm closing time. However, people were still dining beyond 4pm, which was nice for the accommodation. No wow moment but everything was delectable. The only thing stands out was actually the bread which has a good crust and very flavorful. A few dishes were too salty for my liking. The desserts were my least appreciated. Not sure why they were granted Michelin 🤔

We had the lunch tasting menu. Overall, food was quite good. I really enjoyed the crab dish that has the white foam on top, anchovy and the tuna fillet. French toast with cheese ice cream was pretty good too. The rest were honestly quite normal, nothing extraordinary but not shitty. Service was good too though! Would still recommend going! Gave a 3 for atmosphere mostly because it was quite stuffy, given its summer and aircon is not great in there.

La comida rica como siempre, pues es Mc donalds, aunque para los mc flurry nos pusieron muy poca oreo y muy pocos kit kats, menos de lo que se pone habitualmente. El espacio estaba súper sucio todo. Las mesas, los pisos, todo lleno de comida sin levantar, mesas manchadas, moscas volando por el lugar... encontramos una sola mesa que te invitaba a sentarte, las demás o tenían restos de comidas sin levantar o estaba sucias o tenían moscas volando... 👎🏼 Quienes atienden atienden amablemente pero se nota que no dan abasto, falta personal.

No me gustan los McDonald's ni la comida que dispensan. Para ir con niños, adolescentes o cuadrillas de chavalaria es una buena opción, siempre encuentras sitio para sentarte y es un sitio cómodo y agradable y llenas la panza sin dejarte un riñón.

Had the recommended spider crab for appetizer and the taste was extremely too rich and overwhelming, not a balanced umami. The other recommended menu from the main course was iberico pork, not good at all. Few of the pork slices were very salty, one of them was very dry, other slices were bland and tasteless. Not what is expected from a Michelin restaurant, very unfortunate and very pale compare to the other restaurants and pintxos bars in the neighborhood.

I frequently travel around the world for food and highly trust Google Reviews & the Michelin Guide, but both were completely inaccurate here. This was the only “bad” meal we had during one week in Basque Country. The best part was the friendly service. The restaurant is sadly underground and if I could sum up the food in one word: bland. We ordered a la carte at lunch. The only tasty bite was the surprise amuse bouche of asparagus cream with crackers. Roasted eggs with cheese broth — Watery, undersalted, bland. Even the truffles had little flavor. 2/5 Spider crab with pil pil foam — Creamy & heavy but unremarkable. Couldn’t taste any of the pil pil flavor that was so delicious in other restaurants. 2/5 Hazelnut soufflé — Didn’t taste much like hazelnut and was quite dense rather than airy. 3/5 French toast — The flavor was ok but the texture was almost wet & soggy, like it was undercooked. 2/5

Pésima impresión a la hora de llegara al restaurante, en la puerta a modo pasillo, habían varios contenedores de basura, teniendo que pedir que los retiraran por el olor. Al entrar, está masificado de personas, ya que sólo hay dos cajas en funcionamiento de las 4, y 2 paneles táctiles para pedir fuera de servicio. Al subir a la planta alta, están las mesas ocupadas por las sobras y bandejas de otros clientes, que no han depositado en las papeleras por qué estaban llenas y no se habían cambiado en bastante tiempo.

Fatal, queríamos hacer un cambio en nuestro pedido y ninguno de los trabajadores que le preguntamos sabía hacerlo. Tuvimos que pedir otra cosa, aparte todas las áreas muy pero muy asquerosas, mesas sin recoger y manchadas de comida, el suelo sucio y el baño es para no entrar. Me parece que tienen suficientes empleados para mantener las áreas aseadas y las papeleras sin desbordar.

Un puto desastre pedimos 3 menús con los postres para llevar a casa 29 euros y nos llegan solo los 3 helados llamamos a la tienda y después de 2 horas nos cogen el teléfono diciendo que no pueden acceder al pedido 29 euros tirados al cubo de la basura Inútiles

Pedimos 3 mcflurrys y venían medio vacíos, al decírselo, de muy malas maneras y con el helado añadido medio derramado por fuera del vaso que era para llevar, nos añadió a uno de ellos. Muy pésima atención y además ladrones. No nos había pasado nunca algo así en un McDonald's, entiendo que es por la persona que nos atendió. Lamentable. El helado está por donde marca el dedo en la foto. No llega ni a la mitad. Lo que se ve encima es lo que añadió después de pedírselo

La encargada no dejó pasar a mi niño al baño. Cenamos hoy ahí y mi niño quería ir al baño y no dejó que nos lo habrán porque es un día festivo. Niño de 7 años. Vergüenza

El servicio muy malo, mal trato y mucho tiempo de espera. La comida pesima, pedimos una hamburguesa doble y solo venia con 1 carne, las patatas frias y secas. No recomiendo a nadie venir aqui.

Hoy fui a pedir para llevar y cuando llegue a casa no tenia el pollo cryspy la hamburgersa solo el pan lechuga y mayonesa increíble 9 euros por eso la propia estafa

He recibido un mal trato por parte de la trabajadora verónica, ya que nos ha hablado de mala manera y no ha respetado nuestros derechos como clientes. Creo que no debe estar cara al público ya que estaba hablando fatal a todo el mundo y creando un ambiente desfavorable. Espero que la situación cambie o me veré obligada a publicar en mis redes sociales esta situación recurrente.

A las 20.15 he hecho un pedido y son las 21:37 y no llega y pone que para las 21.45h y así llevamos desde las 20:45h que es supuestamente cuñado llegaba.. una vergüenza encima no te dan la opción de cancelar. No vuelvo a pedir más. Que vergüenza

Estuve ayer con mi madre después de ir a un espectáculo. Llegamos a las 23:20 . Nos sirvieron hacia menos veinte. A menos 10 bajaron las luces, a menos 5 paso unas chicas avisando de que tenían cerrado que por favor desalojaramos. Y acto seguido apagaron las luces , no sé ve nada con la luz apagada. Llegué a la barra y le dije a la chica que si no se había fijado en la gente que había , entre los que estábamos 2 personas con discapacidad y dificultad de movilidad. Lo único que conseguí fue un perdón porque ningún empleado se digno a encender la luz . Espero que tengáis más empatía con vuestras madres.
