I had lunch at this restaurant with my family; we opted for the tasting menu. The dishes are beautifully presented and prepared with excellent ingredients. I personally enjoyed the appetizers and stuffed pasta, but the risotto was a little less so, but that's a matter of personal preference. The staff is friendly and helpful. The outdoor area is well-kept and spacious, and there's also a pleasant relaxation corner and a children's play area. I would gladly return.

Here you'll find refined dishes that are reminiscent of Piedmontese tradition! What I like is the use and search for local products! Excellent wine list! Excellent location, both inside and on the beautiful, always well-kept lawn. The view is magnificent in every season and the atmosphere is familiar, but always with great attention to each individual diner... Lucia and Christian, with their staff, are excellent hosts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A mountain-like restaurant, but certainly not outdated, La Grengia is one of those places worth traveling the miles for, even if it's a bit rough. A friend of mine and I went up there for Easter Monday lunch, which consisted of four mini appetizers, a mini first course, and a grilled meat platter, followed by three desserts and a Colomba cake. Honestly, the proposal was spot on: not filling the guests' stomachs while waiting for a "larger" grill was the right choice. However, it was up to the diner not to fill up on bread in the meantime: it was better to be a little hungrier than to arrive at the climax already stuffed! As for the dishes, they're of high quality, and not insignificant. Aside from the daring eggplant mousse with almonds, a failed experiment, everything else was simply delicious, with the meat taking center stage. Hats off! Service: I needed to finish my meal by 3 PM for work. Well, I was out of there by 3 PM, thanks to the courteous, attentive, and above all, empathetic service. For everything on offer, the final price is more than justified, making La Grengia a place to choose without a doubt.

A quiet dinner for two in January. A quiet, yet elegant, restaurant with a rustic yet modern feel, it makes you feel both at home and pampered. A tasting menu with several courses, from appetizers to dessert, completes a delicious culinary experience. The food is excellent and beautifully presented, with portions large enough to allow you to savor each course and comfortably finish the meal feeling satisfied, neither hungry nor gorged. They were also very attentive and kind in substituting a dish on the menu with an alternative for me due to personal preference. Excellent wine selection, including some local wines from Prarostino, and exceptional beers. The price is appropriate for the quantity and quality of the food, and significantly cheaper than other more renowned establishments that offer similar culinary experiences and are significantly more expensive. A great experience in our small town, definitely worth repeating.

A very welcoming restaurant in a commanding location. Spacious interior dining room with the option of using tables in the adjacent, well-maintained garden. Professional and attentive staff, good-quality food, well-prepared and presented. We opted for the à la carte menu to enjoy a wide range of cuisine, and we were satisfied. The wine list is extensive, with a good selection. The option to choose your own olive oil is appreciated, something rarely found in even the most renowned restaurants, and for this they deserve praise. Excellent value for money. Worth a try.

Dinner with the family. Very well-kept environment, a single room but large enough to carve out your own space. The tasting menu is excellent, with €35 you can try a bit of everything, four appetizers, two first courses, a second course with side dish, a mix of homemade desserts and the service charge is included. Excellent cuts of meat that comes from a local farm butcher.

Situato a pochi passi dall'area camper. Nel centro del bel paese di Prarostino. Ampio salone ogni sabato e domenica occupato in ogni ordine di posti (bisogna assolutamente prenotare). Ricco menù tipicamente Piemontese. Sei antipasti due primi 4 secondi compreso il fritto misto dolce Piemontese. Vino rosso e bianco. Digestivo e caffè. Trenta euro a persona. Merita assolutam ente una visita. Buon appetito!! Forse con un rinforzo di personale i tempi di attesa sarebbero migliori. Se arrivi alle 13,00 termini il pranzo intorno alle 15,30/16.00.

Dinner on September 19, 2025 The restaurant, just over ten minutes from Pinerolo, is spacious, furnished in a rustic style, and has adequately spaced tables. The menu, which also includes a tasting menu (with several courses), features exclusively local dishes, to which, in this late September period, porcini mushrooms are added. The mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses from the Pellice Valley is well-stocked and high-quality. The tajarin with Piedmontese Fassona beef and sausage ragù is tasty and generously seasoned, as is the tajarin with porcini mushrooms, stuffed with generous shovelfuls of mushrooms. The fried porcini mushrooms are also plentiful and perfectly cooked. The wine list is very well-stocked. The table settings are spacious and the acoustics are very good, but it's worth checking on a busier evening. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the offerings. Ratings: 8.5

Quite a good traditional Piedmontese cuisine, the food is quite good. However, the place is defined a trattoria, thus it should be a small, traditional and informal restaurant, which it is, except for the small: the tables are all in a huge hall, all together, and this has some downside because the environment is quite noisy and rushy. The food is all about to typical local cuisine, with modest rate of innovation but good quality. The "albese" meat, notably, is somewhat original, as it is served not only with the typical olive oil and parmesan seasoning, but also with some oregano, which makes for a pleasant taste and smell surprise. The service is functional, however some waiters take more care than others. The parking lot is not huge, so plan to arrive early. Nice location, on the first heights above Pinerolo, and pleasant climate.
