Opinions de Huskins Coffee Santa Ana
This coffee shop has a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend for anyone needing a quiet space. I'm not sure why this place always opens late they're losing business and it's not because the area that's excuse the guy have behind the counter I'm here at 8:10 8:15 and there's nobody over here
I was so excited to hear about this new coffee shop opening up in my work neighborhood. What I like best is that they roast their beans in house. This means your coffee is as fresh as it can get! I have not ordered anything that I haven't absolutely loved! Staff is very friendly, and expertly craft coffee drinks. They do that thing with the foam that looks like hearts or trees. They've installed beer taps too, which I probably won't get to try, but it's great for the residents of the apartments.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Amazing coffee, amazing atmosphere. Devon was so sweet and gave drink suggestions. Super friendly baristas and amaaaazing service. Please try their vanilla latte!
Good quality coffee 👍🏻 I’m also a huge hockey fan so the fact that a former NHL player owns the shop is really cool. They also make their syrups and roast the beans themselves!
I've been here several times now and my favorites are their avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches. I like their hot mochas, home town latte, and matcha latte. Super convenient spot with parking in the garage. If it's quick stop, I just park down the street.
My first time here, I will be back for sure. Coffee was amazing, well made by barista as well. Organic and made from scratch is such a plus. Had the Buffalo sandwich!! So fresh and delicious. Loved the place, clean and well done! Great Job Huskins Coffee Company! Will be back soon 😊
The customer service here is consistently outstanding, with the friendliest staff always ready to help. The coffee was perfect strong but never watered down, and always delicious.
The barista totally made my morning! I should have gotten his name, but he was kind, helpful and patient with my questions and indecision - helped me choose exactly what I wanted - and he brewed the most perfect cup of coffee I have had in a long time! I didn’t order food, and I rated 4 stars for atmosphere only because the windows were particularly/noticeably dirty, but that’s an easy fix. :) Highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for an excellent cup of coffee, friendly and helpful customer service, and a nice place to spend time with friends, to read a book, or get some computer work done.
I’m a regular at here. I always get their nitro cold brew and regular cold brew-both are absolutely amazing. The coffee is smooth, rich, and high quality, with flavors that really stand out. Along with their coffee, I’ve tried the avocado toast, and it’s just as impressive! If you're looking for a spot with great coffee and a delicious bite, Huskins is the place to go! Also, the baristas are very nice.
Closes at 1:30pm :( Very clean, not crowded, quiet, convenient to work, has plugs for charging, very nice workers, have some bakery options (4 types of croissant, avocado toast, breakfast sandwich etc) and has coffee (does not have soda options)
Big shout out to Kit! We visited cali for 2 weeks from NZ. Hands down the best coffee we found in all the places we tried. The coffee was so good, we could of sworn he was a barista from some of the top cafes in NZ. Legend!
Super friendly baristas, calm and well-designed interior, and ample seating. The spaced out seating with high ceilings, structured but comfortable chairs, and natural light made this place so much more inviting and peaceful than most coffee shops. Most importantly, they have fantastic coffee (hot oat maple latte). I highly recommend coming here, whether it's grabbing a quick coffee, having a meeting, or working/reading!
Really enjoyed this spot! Dev who was roasting coffee beans when we got there took care of us and was very kind and personable. The coffee was tasty and loved that the flavors were complex and clean. The maple syrup additions were unique and definitely a new favorite. Loved the decor and space, was peaceful and could see myself coming back with friends or my laptop to get some work done.
I'm so happy to have discovered Huskins Coffee today! First thing I must say is that the customer service is A1. From the initial call inquiring if they have dine-in (which they do, along with patio seating) the guy who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. He even informed me that I could text my order to the number I called and it would be ready when I arrived! I elected to dine in because of the beautiful photos I saw on google and yelp. It did not disappoint! It looks like this coffee shop has Canadian roots which is super cool and inspired me to order their Hometown Latte which is made with authentic maple syrup from Canada. It was delicious. Reminded me of the delicious lattes I had in Calgary. I also ordered the oatmeal cookie (it was so good!) and their avocado toast. It was nice to see my latte & toast made to order with care. The interior design is so lovely and refreshing. Very spacious with plenty of seating and outlets. The friendliness & patience of the customer service was most memorable (and not overwhelming)- I felt welcome & appreciated! My cashier (according to my receipt) was Kent & the other guy who made my latte name was Dev. These guys were awesome. The music selection was on point (I need to know the playlist!) and at a perfect volume where I could enjoy doing my solo work. Congrats Huskins- you're my new favorite Coffee shop in Tustin! Keep up the great work.
Very good coffee and friendly service on our first visit. I got a hot vanilla latte and avocado toast. The latte was good but could have had a little more vanilla for me. The avocado toast was very good, but it does come with hot cayenne pepper on it which I would leave off next time. The wife got a iced mocha and grilled cheese. Her mocha was very good and the grilled cheese was wonderful. The only negative would be the parking, there are 4 spots on street which where full or down the end of the block that we chose. It looks like it would be better to park across the street in the empty plaza parking lot. We will be back though.
Wonderful goodness. Great Balboa Island find! I ordered a drip coffee and the quality was perfect. Tried the overnight rolled oats and they were delicious! And the service? It was outstanding. Prices are well suited too! Absolute Five Stars.
New coffee place that has a really modern, hip simple interior design. A lot of natural light and seating that is nice for studying/working. They have a unique signature drink (made with Canadian maple syrup) as well as other yummy drinks. Great, friendly staff! Will definitely be coming back. Oh, also, they share the space with a juice/bowl shop!
Butterscotch and hometown latte are delicious. Coffee had a well-balanced flavor, aroma, and no bitterness at all.
Love this place , most the staff are super friendly, ambiance is great, no loud obnoxious music, comfortable seating, beans are good, drinks are good and they even made me a “spicy” mocha, a drink i loved getting while living overseas and haven’t seen here. Parking can be not so obvious to figure out. Theres 3-4 20 min spots on the side of the cafe, but if your in the cafe you can stay longer. Or there are more spaces in the parking garage at the basement of the big building it’s in, follow “leasing office signs” for spaces to park.
Aa a coffeholic barista, I don't roast but buy lightly roasted whole beans and grind and brew/hand drip/french-press, and have as americano or latte. I've stayed in Irvine for three weeks, I found Huskins to be one of the best roastery cafe in town even though it is not a big place, having various single origin beans with light, medium and dark roasting. The best part is , you can find "roasted within two days" beans ANY DAY of a week. Two thumbs up for the excellence!!!
Didn’t order coffee but I do like the environment and the natural light from those huge windows. Wifi is good. Great place for study/work
- Beautiful and clean facility. Spacious with good vibes to hang out, study, or get some work done - Very helpful and friendly staff (bless the Canadian DNA 😊) - Simple, but effective and delicious menu. - Parking can be difficult unfortunately, but can definitely be worth the effort.
Finally!!!! A beautiful, minimalistic coffee shop in the OC with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. WiFi was great, food / drinks were tasty, seating was comfy. I'm a huge fan of Huskins - will be camping out here to do some reading any chance I get.
Can’t say enough great things about the coffee here. The daily drip coffee offerings are always so good. The Hometown Latte, made with maple syrup, is definitely my favorite latte in all of So Cal. The other remaining espresso drinks I’ve tried are delicious. The staff is super friendly and the decor is awesome.
Nice place to drink coffee, talk with somebody or even work online a little. Workers are friendly, and the facilities feel cosy. The place is clean and it sounds relaxing music all the time. I recommend it !
The customer service never Fails at this place always the nicest people working here so friendly. The coffee is perfect not watered down strong but also so good.
I'm from Colorado but came out to Cali for vacation. Was looking for a local shop to try something new. Owner was friendly and the coffee was delicious. I ended up getting a peppermint mocha special for the season which is pictured. The look indoors is very modern and felt like a good place to hang out. Judging by other customers there it appears it mostly consisted of college aged student working on laptops. This was late in the morning and on a weekday so it was not very busy when we were there.
We had a DucksNPucks watch party hosted by Huskins Coffee Company. This place is absolutely amazing. Clean and a friendly and professional staff.
Unbelievably delicious coffee and the best service I've ever experienced. Will definitely be back again.

Really liked this coffee shop! The Iced Mocha was amazing. The vibe inside is really cool especially with the music that the barista was playing. The only issue for me was the Wi-Fi was really slow so that made it harder to work from my iPad and of course my Verizon phone signal inside would suck. BUT will definitely stop by here again next time I go up to Anaheim.
Not really sure what to call this place. It is a cafe that roast its own coffee. They have s simple coffee menu and few pastry options that are brought in from an outside vender. I noticed several mugs but was surprised when they served my coffee in a typical paper cup. Maybe the mugs are decorative. Coffee is served scalding. Yet this location also doubles somewhat as a bar as it offers a few beers on tap and a lunch selection. The indoor ambience is nice and relaxing with elevator music playing in r background. Plenty of seating with plenty of natural light. I also noticed an area with tables for outside seating. Corner location makes it easy to find. Friendly staff.

Pretty good coffee and nice pastries - though the croissant is more crunch than substance. Coffee is really good though. Pop tarts are excellent. The space is industrial-chic I guess BUT it's always a little dirty. I know because my toddler loves running around here and when he drops on to his knees, the pants are immediately blackened. Really nice baristas though!

Quite coffee shop in the corner of a large apartment/condo complex. Parking is a little tricky - look for a parking garage entrance just to the east of the coffee shop. Cash & credit cards accepted. Mostly indoor but perhaps some outdoor seating as well. Typical coffee shop. Nothing out of the ordinary about it. Quiet though, which is nice, and airy/bright. Large windows.
These stars are only for the service. My coffee had the strangest bitter aftertaste to it. I got extra shots and a milk substitute, so this coffee was pretty expensive and a big letdown since I could only take a few sips. But the guy who made it was super nice and the wait wasn’t long and they should be commended for that, so three stars it is. Wouldn’t come back for the coffee, though.
Not one of my favorite coffee spots but I certainly had high hopes. They roast their own beans and all. The place looks like a good place to hang out also. I had the Hometown Latte. Though it was sweet and not overly, I wasn't able to finish it. It was just too bitter for me. I want something smooth without the after taste. I had a sip of the lavender coffee since that person I was with ordered that. All I could take was lavender and no sweetness to it. Though the person behind the counter let us know that we could opt for a redo on our orders, we didn't have the time to try it again. I hope there is a smoother coffee available and if so then the person behind the counter should offer some advice. That would make for good customer service.

Kind of a shame to see this place ran to the ground. Environment used to be so fun and infectious. Today, coffee was great but there wasn’t any food, our barista (girl, brown hoodie) had a terrible attitude, vibes were off in general. Planned on drinking my coffee there, but didn’t feel like staying after the service we received.
I went at 9am on a Monday. The doors were locked and no one inside. You should change your business hours to reflect reality. Disappointed.
Doesn’t update hours. Gone 3 times when they were ‘open’ but were in fact very much closed
They can’t enforce towing on public property otherwise it’s an illegal tow. Makeshift sign says “ towing enforce”. enforce by who? The city or private property owners? Private property owners cannot tow cars parked on public property, it’s against the law. You’re able to sue them in small claims court.
