We stopped here for breakfast on our way back to California and after eating at all the “fancy” VDG restaurants. This place was my daughter and husbands favorite pancakes and burrito of the trip. The hot chocolate has a touch of cinnamon and was delicious! We ordered extra carne asada burritos for later.

I’ve passed by this little restaurant dozens of times on the way to the Valle de Guadalupe, but have always had lunch plans or reservations elsewhere. Today I stopped in for a late lunch and I’m glad I did! Despite my lack of Spanish skills, the menu is very approachable. The vibe is authentic Baja (aka not touristy, but still seemed clean and well-kept). I ordered the tacos dorados… fried crispy shell tacos. They’re made to order and served with rice and refried beans. I went with two beef and a chicken. Both were fantastic. The all-white meat chicken was a pleasant surprise. It’s great to have this place nearby, about halfway between Rosarito and Ensenada. Perfect if you need a snack on the way to wine tasting in the Valle. Did I mention my total order was under $8 USD? You can’t get a bottle of water for that just 30 minutes down the road!

Charming and clean little spot, staff were friendly and welcoming. We had enchiladas and tacos dorados. We were very happy with our food. Indoor seating can probably accommodate 20-25 people plus 2 round tables outside that can seat another dozen. There is a sign at the door saying no bathroom available, FYI.

Loncheria La Mision is one of my favorite little spots to eat. The food is cooked fresh to order and is delicious. Run by a family, the service is quick and the staff is friendly. On Wednesdays they make Albondigas. A very popular soup and some of the best I have tasted. Be sure to get there by noon or before to make sure you can get the Albondigas....they do run out. Food made fresh!

Está interesante, lo mas rico son los burritos! A veces son un poco desatendidos con los cloentes y crwonque les falata una renovacion, me ancantaría un diseño mas rustico.

La comida está 2-2 les falta mejorar el sazón algo caro para la porción de comida está pasable

No me gusto. Pedi un quesataco y la carne estaba cruda (color rosa) no me dieron verdura, ni limones solamente salsa. Lo que si esta bueno eran los frijoles pero de ahi nada
