Decorative tasting room located on the pier of Santa Barbara. Enjoyed a great syrah on the outdoor deck while watching the hills and sky change color as the sun sets.

Best wine-tasting view I've ever had, though the seating can be a little cramped if all the tables are full. You have to go get every new wine at the bar, which was not ideal, but the wines were great tasting. Only food you can get here is chips. but they allow outside food during the tasting, so plan accordingly!

A family owned lovely wine testing place. I've been visiting them since 2014 and their ambience along with the quality of wines... never deteriorated! They're a place to be! Go ahead... enjoy a twilight on their balcony! You will not regret it.

I truly cannot day enough good things about this place. Amazing wines with a phenomenal view! This tasting room is often staffed by the owners and is always a fun and inviting place to be. Sitting on the second story decking, out on the pier, you get an amazing view of the water AND the foothills that hug Santa Barbara. The wine, oh the wine! Delicious! Nice range of prices and great selection of varieties. Something for everyone! Oh, and dogs are very welcomed!

Knowledgeable staff and a beautiful view! No better feeling than having a nice glass of Pinot while watching the sailboats pass by. I was staying in Santa Barbara for only 2 days but came here twice because I loved it so much. Each time the staff were very kind and told us all about their wines as we got a red flight and a white flight. Not a single miss on any of them either, every single one was delightful. I plan to come back soon for another!

We visited Deep Sea Tasting Room on the Santa Barbara Wharf and it quickly became one of our favorite stops in town. The location is unbeatable — right over the water with a terrace that offers stunning panoramic views of the ocean, the coastline, and the mountains in the distance. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit back, enjoy the sea breeze, and let time slow down. We ordered two glasses of wine and were impressed by both the quality and the way they were served — perfectly chilled, with attentive and friendly service. The wine list is well thought out, showcasing local selections that pair beautifully with the atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or planning to linger and soak in the views, Deep Sea is an excellent choice. It’s relaxed yet elegant, and the terrace alone is worth the visit. Highly recommended if you’re in Santa Barbara and want a memorable spot to enjoy a great glass of wine by the water.

By far, the best wine tasting room if you are the type of person who loves being near the water. I love the location, this is out on the wharf. Cute spot. You have to walk upstairs to get on the second level floor so for anyone who has difficulty going up stairs I’m not sure if they have an elevator to access the building. Other than that, the location is beautiful. Everyone there is very friendly. The view is spectacular and the wines are tasty. Our favorite being the deep sea brand.

Tasting room on Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara. Went for a wine tasting in the evening and had a wonderful time. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and all the wines were delicious. Views from the wharf were lovely, especially during sundown/sunset. Indoor and outdoor seating available, and one restroom available. They do wines by the bottle and by the glass, and offered charcuterie boards.

Beautiful view with delicious wines!! All their wines are sourced from Santa Barbara local vineyards. I did a signature tasting, my favorite is the rose of Pinot noir, it is fruity crispy and dry. The blend Duel is nice too, strong, bold and super dry.

Beach chic and beautiful location for a glass of wine or two! We did a tasting and Hayley was very helpful, kind and informative. Pinot was our favorite. I could spend many hours chilling here in their gorgeous, comfy space. We will def be back!

A great location! The wine tasting was on the higher side ($14-24 for a flight of 5 tastings), but the ocean view makes it worth it. The wines were tasty too. We each got a different flight (red, white, and mixed) and everyone was happy. There are games to play if you're so inclined, and there is both inside and terrace seating. If you get a chill, there is a basket of blankets for you to use. Also dog friendly!

This meant that we felt relaxed and could do things in our own time. The wines were okay, not the best we've tried but certainly not the worst. When we went for our top ups we were told some facts about the wines. The views are gorgeous and really pleased we went here. I would definitely recommend this wine tasting just don't have too high expectations of the taste of the wines, but the view does make up for that.

This tasting room has truly amazing California wines. I loved the red wine flight, which showcased several great gems but the standout for me was Rolo's Red Blend--WOW!! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and I loved the atmosphere. Both the indoor seating, which had a really cool vibe, as well as the outdoor patio allows for ample space for all party sizes and was comfortably spread out between groups. Wish I lived near to join the wine club, I would take full advantage of the monthly flight for sure.🍷 👌🏿

This place was really cute! It's on the pier in Santa Barbara with phenomenal views. I am an experienced big red wine drinker and fairly picky. I was very hesitant to go here because I read that the wine isn't that good etc.... However, I was really pleasantly surprised! It's not Napa wine or anything, but all 5 mixed wines we had were pretty solid and really made our experience worthwhile.

Great view of the pier looking at the sea. $20 tasting for two whites, two reds and a rose. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish any of them as the wine was undrinkable. The worst table wine in Europe is better than this one. My advice, come here for the atmosphere, view and friendliness but if you want to enjoy a good Californian wine go somewhere else. Also, the pier has free parking for 90mins

It was another lucky 75° Santa Barbara "winter" day and this wine bar is located right on Stearns Wharf... On the second floor, with an amazing, unobstructed view of the mountains and ocean. I went up to the counter to purchase the five flight red tasting, the girl friendly and bubbly, gave me a small, measured pour, 1oz? Very small. and told me to come back when I was ready for the next one. I didn't think anything of it and I went outside, had a sip, started to enjoy the beauty of the day. quickly realized, I'd need to go back inside number of times in order to continue to get the next glass... And the next... And the next... Interrupting the vibe. So I went I'm and asked the girl for all the times at once and she said... no I thought that was strange so I asked her if there was a law prohibiting her all of the ones at once and she said no. They just would run out of glasses. She pointed me to the area right next to her at the bar... which had eell over 200 glasses sitting there as there was nobody but two people in the bar, which had maybe 25 tables. I thought this was strange and I asked her. There's nobody here. You're not going to run out of the glasses. She said that if she did it for me she'd have to do it for everybody else here. I pointed out there were two other people here, but she just walked away. Although it might seem like a fairly minor issue, $30 for 5 sips of wine is pretty steep. I would recommend to management that rather than tell their customers to be their own waiters, they buy a few more glasses. Maybe 1000 glasses will be enough to serve 3 people next time.
