Great place to watch soccer with a lot of other fans! And to get a drink or two!
Fantastic local pub. Superb atmosphere and people. Always friendly.
Great bar. If you're a Brit visiting SB it's a must!
Great bartenders, good beer selection, awesome atmosphere.
Best place in sb to watch a game - great atmosphere.
Playing windrush reggae on a Wednesday night oiiiiii ♥️
Went there back in 2001. It may have changed; I suspect not. Very laid-back joint.
Best Bar in Santa Barbara, Great staff, and best place to watch sports,
Great dive with great memories, cane here after the kings won the cup in 2012
Great place to go
Great place to watch games. Nice staff.
If you are a soccer fan this is the place you need to be for the world cup. Champions league. Etc.
Nice English style bar with a solid amount of British beer choices. Three nice tvs for soccer. Friendly bar staff.
Great hospitality as we celebrated. Plenty of British and local brews on tap. Lots of TVs to watch football. Small cozy place with plenty of local charms.
Went to the press rooms at 8 in the morning to watch arsenal v man.utd. this is a great bar for manu fans.the owner raffa who comes from MANCHESTER is a fanatical united supporter, and also a nice guy.had a great time. This bar is a must for manu fans.
Love the low-key vibes and good drinks. It's right across the street from dargans too, so great place to go before or after some games of pool.
Favorite locals spot. Great drinks. Best place to watch football/soccer matches anytime! Love this place!
If you love watching soccer at the pub, this is the place to go. Friendly staff with great vibes
Went to the PR for the first time, yesterday, Met wonderful friendly people, and even a fellow liverpudlian. Will definitely be my new local.
Brilliant Santa Barbara pub with excellent landlord and staff. Great place to watch real football!
Excellent service. Very friendly staff. The tables and floors were clean, and so were the bathrooms. Overall a very pleasant experience
Wonderful little English themed pub off the beaten path. Boddingtons on tap, though they could use with some more pour practice.
Such a fun place. They had the New Years Eve celebration at 4pm Pacific Time for the UK's Midnight fireworks. One of my favourite beers on tap, Old Speckled Hen.
Great little dive. Good pint. Fair prices considering the location.
The Press Room is a small and very authentic pub right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. In the 20 years I’ve been going, the decor and great beverage selections have always been just what you are looking for. This is hands down the BEST place to watch a soccer match. The owner is passionate about the sport and loves to help other soccer fans get to see their team play, no matter which team they support. Stop by the Press Room, have a pint and see for yourself. You’re welcome & cheers!
Stopped in for a quick brew while in town. Definitely will be back. This is the sort of bar that needs to be in every town. Great selection of English beers and the bartenders were great.
Best place in Santa Barbara to watch soccer. Open rain or shine for early premier league games. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, stop by!
what a great english style pub .... simple as that! awesome people and awesome people

I genuinely enjoy the Press Room! My experiences here have always been positive, and the bar staff are exceptional. Among all the bars in town, this one ranks as one of the best!
Absolutely love this place! Great atmosphere, amazing drinks, and the friendliest bar staff in town
Best place to watch a football match in town! GO ARSENAL! Dog friendly and amazing staff! Family own and run by a gentleman originally from Manchester so heavy MAN UNITED supporters! Always a good pour at a fair price! Much love Press Room!
I like this place. It's about as close to an East Coast/Rust Belt bar as you're going to find here in sunny Santa Barbara. It gets just a little too crowded for me on weekend nights, but I'm not a kid anymore, so judge accordingly. It's got a British rock and roll theme, and at least a few British bartenders. Good draft selection, and an excellent selection of gin. I have often seen a few dogs in there, and they seem as well behaved as the regulars. No darts, but that's all that's missing. It's refreshingly not corporate, in a land filled with yet another Jimmy Buffett themed bar. I'll be honest, I miss this place. If I were to visit Santa Barbara again, this would literally be my first stop.
Neighborhood Pub where meeting people is easy and if you start going with any frequency your name will be remembered. Best selection of beers from the UK but with some domestic selections too. Full bar and wine available too with generous pours. This is the only bar in Santa Barbara where I can sit there for hours and not feel the need to leave. Owners Raf and Carol are the best.
They offer an excellent variety of English beers, and the bartenders are fantastic. Whenever I've visited, the decor and the impressive beverage choices have consistently met my expectations. Without a doubt, this is the ultimate spot to catch Premier League matches. However, it does tend to get overly crowded for my liking on weekend nights, with the crowd sometimes becoming a bit overwhelming. If you're looking for a little more space to catch soccer games you may want to give Dargan's a try. Its a close second for a place to catch a BPL game.
Fantastic place. We watched France v Germany in the Euros (soccer). Many fans of each side. Everyone friendly, even admiring the interim successes of the opposing side. I think we were the odd ones out, many of the customers clearly knew the barkeep and his young helper, and each other. You know, locals, comfortable, efficient in the way that comes with long experience, smooth with no frills. We'd go there again in a minute. You should too.
Perfect dive bar. And Nicole is the bartender extraordinaire! Very fun late night stop after a concert or show
Best bar in Santa Barbara hands down. It would be a mistake to not go here if you are in town. Raf and the boys run a brilliant spot! I'm sure Georgie Best would've been proud to drink here!

Found this place by luck on a Sunday night heading back to our hotel. It was pretty quiet at 11pm when we showed up, by the time we left at almost 1a it was hoping. I suspect this is the kind of bar that locals go to after others have closed and wait staff also come to. Solid juke box, good drinks, nice vibe, and not too pricey.
Good local hangout. Not much for wine on offer. Always have the ManU game on and a pot of coffee.
awesome live music venue cheap drinks great atmosphere fun lively crowd really nice staff.
Little dive bar packed with character. Plenty of beer and good cheer for soccer and football games. During my visit the bar was prowled by an ornery bar keep who keep the good times flowing with a solid selection of draft beers. Well worth your consideration of you prefer character(s) in your bar experience, as opposed to ferns or little umbrellas. I anxiously await my next visit.
Best chips and salsa ever!! I just couldn't stop eating them they were so good! We had a pretty large group for dinner and they did a good job at getting all our orders out at the same time and keeping up on the drink requests! Would definitely come back here, especially for the habanero salsa.

Fine place but the bar tender was rude when I asked where to order... apparently only at the bar. Also didn't know how to make an Aviation.
They weren't really welcoming. My friend and i were in and out. Beer was good. The bar was cool as far as decor goes.

If you enjoy loud sports bros, inattentive bartenders and kitschy decoration, you may enjoy the press room. Two stars are for the decor.
Not very welcoming. I walked in and was straight up ignored on a Monday night with almost no one in the bar. The bartender continued to clean glasses for an uncomfortable amount of time. So I walked out and went across the street. First impressions are everything and they just made a terrible one.
I went in for a beer. Simple stuff. After being rudely warned at the bar by the bro bartender that I couldn’t sit down and order a beer to take back to my table because two people that were not present had reserved the chairs, ignored us for a few more minutes for a conversation with people he had already served, finally took my order. Will not return here and I’m pretty sure they won’t care. Go somewhere that will actually serve you.
We showed up here on a Saturday night and it was empty. Once we got inside, it all made sense. Jack (the owner) and his other mate in flip flops with webbed feet should not be in the customer service business. They were arrogant, abrasive, and Jack filled the entire venue with the smoke from his tomato flavored electronic cigarette. If you’re looking for a good time with a nice atmosphere and great customer service, go across the street to Dargan’s. With all that said, Darryl (working the front door at the time) was absolutely wonderful. He’s the only good thing Press Room has going for them. Cheers.
