I order nothing but the quesadillas Al Pastor de maiz. Crispy full of flavor delight! The table salsa goes sooo well with my meal. Very consistent thruout my years going there (Water St).

We ordered two burritos - al pastor and chile verde. Both were incredible and we're excited to return and try more things, but honestly we'll end up probably repeating the order - they were that good. Also the service was amazing. The cashier really helped us through the menu and brought out special salsa for our dishes. We can't wait to return!

Moreno does Al Pastor like no one else. I haven't lived in Santa Cruz for almost 20 years, but every time I go back for a visit I make a point of eating at this taqueria. Their house-made salsa is amazing, and whenever they'll let me I get them to fill up a mason jar or bottle to take some home - it gets me though the withdrawals until the next time I can come up. Get the quesadillas with al pastor, and then smother them with salsa - you'll thank me!

Another great mexican restaurant, wet quesadilla is top notch

Had the veggie tacos - I was expecting the same old fajita veggies and maybe beans that most restaurants have; but these were very good and fresh. Excellent dish and excellent portions (3 is kind of a lot of food...) Also had a flour quesadilla which was great. Will definitely come back.

I have been eating here since 1983. I have never found tacos that are as good anywhere else. The Moreno family are wonderful to me and all of my family. We love this place. So do all of my friends. The salsa is clearly magic. Nobody has salsa like theirs.

My favorite burrito in town. The way they season their carne asada is just incredible, and the carnitas is also amazing with a nice crispy carmelized texture on bits. Get the regular burrito here, you won't want anything distracting from the perfect chemistry of meat, beans, and veggies, although the salsa is also amazing so add some of that. At their busiest I don't think I've waited more than 7 minutes.

Best tacos and quesadillas. I ‘be been enjoying Tacos Morenos for 30+ years, by far the best Mexican lunch place in the Danta Cruz area. Try an el pastor taco and a corn quesadilla. Don’t forget the salsa! My only knock is the place lacks atmosphere to say the least. Not a place for a first date…

There use to be a line out the door. They had the ideal mix of beans and cabbage with tomatoes. The burritos are larger now, I suppose to compete with other places. They use to be rolled very tight, easier to hold and when finished, it wasn’t a feeling of over eating, but satisfying. Now, there’s no line out the door, the burritos are huge, loosely rolled and very little cabbage and tomatoes are added. It’s sad to see that the changes don’t favor the long history of being the place for fantastic food!

I wish this place had more flavor. It makes me sad to rate this place lower, but the consistency of good food hasn't been there for me. Below average tacos and burritos.

Doesn’t take DEBIT! That’s a huge disappointment only CASH ONLY ! don’t support small business like that. That’s a shame . That take cash only usually shady with there taxes . Won’t be coming here again . Sad part is the food is decent . I was visiting from out of town . An ATM to nickel and dime their customers.
