What can I say! TOP! WE ATE WELL, ACCOMPANIED BY THE ADVICE OF THE GENTLEMAN WITH A MUSTACHE WHO SERVED US. The best pesto I ate during our visit to Genoa. I must admit I mopped up the bread with the excellent bread served in a paper bag at the table. The lasegnette were excellent, as were the fried ravioli with stracchino cheese. Congratulations!!!!

The trattoria is run by a small, incredibly helpful family who strives to please everyone with a smile and professionalism. It's always a pleasure to return and sample the seasonal produce. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, perfect for romantic dinners or even large gatherings of friends! If you order appetizers (the fried stuffed gnocchi are a real treat!), it's best to be careful with the rest of the dishes because everything is so generous and you risk not finishing it all. There are days when demand is higher than expected, and they might run out of a dish right away... after all, it's a trattoria, not McDonald's... You have to be careful. Afterwards, you'll feel truly pampered by them, their food, and the legendary house wine, which is highly recommended.

This family owned trattoria is a must to visit for a real local culinary experience. They serve a variety of local dishes, all home cooked and delicious. There is a family style welcome and they are always busy so make sure you book a table.

The welcome is that of a true trattoria, full of warmth and passion. The food is simple, good, and sincere. What left me very perplexed, however, was the €4 cover charge, which was completely unjustified. It's almost a Michelin-starred restaurant price, but this is a trattoria where the tablecloths are made of paper, the cutlery isn't changed between courses, and the bread and breadsticks are trattoria-style. I would have preferred to pay more for more carefully prepared dishes, rather than "give away" a €4 cover charge in a trattoria where the cover charge should be a maximum of €1-2.

A typical and authentic Ligurian trattoria serving classic hillside dishes, no fish (except for breaded anchovies), that doesn't skimp on portions or friendliness. Really good prices. The Ligurian-style rabbit and pansotti are excellent. We'll definitely be back.
