during covid it's pretty relaxed. rules are still followed but people aren't rude about it.
Only been in once but had a nice drink and conversation. You get the respect that you give.
Quiet spot to have a drink. Great selection and excellent bartenders.
A dive bar that's CLEAN!! Had fun before breakfast on our 420 weekend at the Emerald Cup.
They had amazing hours they were open at 6 AM now not so much :(
It's a great little dive bar/liquor store!
I mean, they serve alcohol and the staff is nice. What more can I tell you?
Got laid everytime i go there...swrious hot JC girls like its seedy demeanor
One of the best dive bars in Santa Rosa with an off site sales lic
Friendly staff, enjoyable atmosphere, love the outdoor patio
Love this bar, go there and punch a hipster in the friggin face and then get wasted.

Jackson is a wise man, knowledgeable bartender, and great guy!
Amazing service best bloody marry during happy hour
I had my first drink there the night I turned 21 I'm going on 52 and it is the best bar in Santa Rosa hands down
Love this place. Whitney is awesome. Neighborhood bar, with friendly people and great service. Love ya Whitney..
Great fun place Good people very nice staff Bartenders are Awesome
Love it. Love Jackson. Great staff. Awesome drinks. Get booze to go at small store
I love it here. The staff was very helpful and observant. This place has a cool atmosphere.
Cool, little dive bar with outdoor seating.
Bartender Frank is Amazing. Place itself also nice.
It was great in there there's a blonde lady sitting there I wish I could have got to know her but I sure wish they would have
Best dive bar in Santa Rosa, cheap drinks friendly locals, not a loud crazy place. 🖒🖒
While in Santa Rosa a friend and I stopped here to use ATM, had a glass of Chardonnay and a Jell-O Shot. The Jell-O shot was very flavor definitely order again. The bartener, Michelle was very friendly and attentive. Bar was very sports themed, had good rock music and a Pinball machine. I had the pleasure of playing several games. I would definitely stop by again in the future. Also, the have a large patio.

Best dive bar in Sonoma County. Jackson is the best bartender. Looks kinda sketch from the outside but walk in and its like Cheers
Great dive bar with a couple of funny dudes working. Jokes so bad, they make you laugh. The price is right, will be back.
Great dive, lots of friendly regulars! Jackson is such a lovely character. Super great bloody marys! Thanks for a great time!!
Sweet place. Best customer service hands down. I recomend this place to travelers staying near by. Don't let the looks on the outside fool you. This place is a gem. Good people here.
This bar accepts currency in return for alcoholic beverages. It is a small cozy joint, the bartender I had was very friendly. What more could you want?
Cool spot lots to see. This is not a restaurant
Sometimes you want a surly bartender! Great local location for beer and cocktails.
What can I say, I love a dive bar! This dive stays true to its roots. There’s even a bottle shop in front. The bartenders are great. The clientele are full of characters and nice people. And the prices? Very affordable. Whenever I’m in the area, I stop by the 440.
Amazing time! Between the staff and regulars, it’s a vibe. My husband and I stopped in from out of town and had a blast! Will definitely be back more while we’re on this trip
The bartender was fun, friendly and talkative!!! 😸 I love the outdoor seating!
I travel a great deal for work and love finding a quintessential local bar in each city and town I go to. A place where you can meet people and hear their stories. A place with a great vibe and old-school pro bartenders. THAT is what I found at 440 Club. Next time I’m in Sana Rosa, I know where I’ll be!
Bartender saw some super drunks dudes come in and immediately (but respectfully) denied service to them. Handled the situation really well without raising a fuss. Everyone is kind and the drinks are well prices. Definitely is dive bar, but a good dive bar. 😊
Love it here, you always know just about what you are getting into here, and know you will see some familiar faces. Best bartenders in town for sure! Lovely community and friendly space, thank you all for being in the neighborhood!
Best third spot in Santa Rosa. Rip your bartenders for sure here
Dive bar at it's best. Whitney is epic! Remember That she works days but no Whitney Wednesdays and no Whitney weekends. My heart has been at this joint for over 20 years at it never really changes.. Good to be home again😎🤩🤘🥃🍸🍹🍷🍾

Great place. Nice people. They have a taco truck right outside
more a spot for locals, but there is a grab and go in the front. one of the few spots in the vicinity to get drinks to take home
Great neighborhood dive bar. Minimal frills. Regular crowd seemed present, but newcomers wecomed.
Dive bar plain and simple. Added benefit of there being a liquor store attached in the front of the bar so last call and buying more drink for the house doesn't have to be a choice.
Best dive bar in town! Bartenders are awesome, Bar's a dive, drinks are strong and customers are regulars. Can't Ask for more!

I walked to the 440 club with friends who were meeting some other friends and we talked about a 1 hour and left.I did not get a drink
The bartender was pretty brash. Wouldnt let us take drop shots and scoffed when I ordered water because of it.
came in from LA and got no love it's all good seems like a locals only bar if you ask me
Maybe it's because I live in South Lake Tahoe now, or maybe it's because my first visit to 440 was a Fri. night at 1:00, but the music was BAD (ELO, Kansas... what year is this?!?) and the crowd was boring. Only saving grace for me was the nice, funny bartender. They do give $1 off your first drink if you check-in on FB. But warning: you have to sacrifice fun for that $1. Belvedere was WAY better crowd & vibe.

Owner was very rude and over priced. Would not recommend.
Short review: This place is not kid-friendly. Long review: A few months ago, I walked here lost and pregnant, covered in rain and phone completely dead. Shaken up after a man who saw me wandering circled the block 3 times at one point- offering me a ride I kept refusing... I'm 100% convinced the female bartender I spoke to is an NPC from a video game. But even NPC's would've shown more humanity than she did. All I wanted was to use the outlet long enough to get my phone back on and call an Uber or open Google Maps to find my way back to the YMCA 3-month shelter I'd been staying at due to domestic violence. I was not from around that area at all. I didnt know any phone numbers by heart. I didnt know how to go back home. I had JUST come from the Bridges pregnancy clinic nearby where they didn't have outlets and essentially guilt tripped me for saying "I don't think I'm ready to be a mother at all,", and, of course, I was hysterical. She told me to try the outlet outside that they used to plug in the ceiling lights for the outdoor seating. Again, I'm pregnant. 1.) I couldn't reach them. 2.) I didn't want to risk standing up on a wet metal chair in the rain and harm my baby. Went back in and asked to use the bar outlet right by the front door. Once again I was told no and probably would've threatened to call the police if I tried to stay and warm up for even 5 more minutes. I was unable to go back to the clinic for help as I had left right when they closed. I've tried two different gas stations that didn't have outlets or help me. Cafe Mimosa made me try their outdoor outlet which of course didn't work. Their store had also just closed for the day. Lady, you couldn't give me five minutes? I had my own charger with me. I had money when you said I had to buy a drink first. Then you essentially told me to get out when I said I'm pregnant and can't drink. You still said no when I asked if you could give me a soda or water instead and just ring it up like it's a beer. Even when I gave you my ID because you wanted to CONFIRM that I was over 21 to use an outlet for some weird reason. I managed to find a place with good souls that helped me... After 30 more minutes of wandering around in the rain. This experience worsened the depression that I didn't even know could get any worse than it already was. The final nail in the coffin was when I turned my phone back on just to find out I had been a 5 minute drive (20-25 minute walk) away from the shelter the entire time. I left Santa Rosa about two weeks ago. I left the entire state of California, flew back to my home state and never looked back. I am still saddened that I was treated this way. As a woman herself, that bartender should've had more empathy seeing someone clearly in distress like that. I got so scared that the stress from that day was going to make me miscarry. And I'm still traumatized. Thanks for reminding me why I lost my faith in humanity a long time ago. She really was acting like she was more inconvenienced than I was. It made me so sick I'm almost 6 months pregnant now. Baby is ok, and she's gonna be a girl.
