Yummy flakey, sweet, perfect amount of filling, nice coffee, fresh and good price. They also have a day old food you you eager more offer cheaper really good no waste.
Best croissant sandwich I've ever had. This was my first trip to this area and I rarely stop to write a review right away but this place is fantastic Update: since I left that review I've moved to Santa Rosa and now eat at Cafe des Croissant about once a week and it is always excellent. Good coffee selection, too, I recommend the iced Vietnamese coffee (but great lattes, too)
Food is delicious and service is great!
Great barista, had a latte and she nailed it, it was perfect! Wanted to try the cappuccino streusel but they were sold out. Will make it a point to come back here next time we're in the area again!
My favorite coffee shop in my hometown! Amazing coffee and their croissants are amazing! I love getting the Arleen's darling or the cheesy bagel with cream cheese. Great place to catch up on some work while having some great quality food.
I like this place. It has been here forever and is a good place to meet with friends or get some work done. The tables are big and the place itself is not too noisy so that you can actually talk to and understand other people. The bagels are amazing. Small but good selection on sandwiches. A nice place to hang out.
Got a togoodtogo bag and it had 3 filled croissants and 6 assorted bagels. Very good
While recently visiting Santa Rosa , we took advantage of the close proximity of the cafe to our hosts home and were not disappointed! The breakfast sandwiches are delicious with lots of variety. The croissants are flakey and delicious!! Well done!
Great place for coffee pastries, yummy food, and to meet a friend. Staff friendly and caring. Breakfast or lunch!
Delicious bakery and coffee! Have hot sandwiches that look delicious too
This is the best place to do work out of all the cafes I've tried in Santa Rosa. Croissants (I recommend the almond) and bagels are delicious and goes well with coffee, tea, or Yerba Mate. The staff is super friendly and always ready to greet you with a smile. Seating is plentiful with outlets available around the room. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. There is limited parking, which fills during the morning rush. NOTE: The website says it is open until 5pm on weekdays, but the Santa Rosa location closes at 4pm every day.
Excellent hot tea and yummy pastries make this a favorite for the Sunday brunch-for-less crowd. You can often score a discarded Sunday paper here, too, and browse through its pages while sipping your Earl Grey and nibbling a chocolate croissant. In spring, they put out the giant chess set in the corner yard, and you can also play or kibbutz a game in the sunshine. High-brow, low-$$$ fun!
I'm surprised I haven't written a review of this cafe sooner. One of my top all time breakfast spots in Sonoma County... Strongly suggest the croissants and bagels. All baked goods are on point...
We finally got that old Caterpillar running over at the Beasley Ranch out on Stony Point, and old man Creswell couldn't be happier! He was so happy he said he'd spot us for breakfast at his favorite morning restaurant...The Café deś Croissants. It sounded kinda uppity up to me and Tractor John but we went anyway, the old man drove us in his old Bonneville, boy that was a treat..we never got over 25 miles an hour! The Café sure was a great place, the breakfast sandwich I had was truly Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆
Just amazing 😍😍 Will hit this spot every time I go to this area. I had the feta spinach croissant. Could use a bit more spinach but taste great. The picture shows their cherry and raspberry filled croissants...so scrumptious 🤤🤤🤤

Best croissants I've had in ages! The breakfast croissants were tasty and filling. The chocolate croissant was one of the best I've had.
To the Management of Café Del Croissants, I would like to take a moment to share my recent experience with your team, as I believe it truly deserves recognition. I work in the medical field, and while preparing to place a lunch order for our office staff, I called your café to inquire about ordering approximately 20 sandwiches. The first employee I spoke to was kind and tried to provide as much information as possible, but due to my time constraints, I wasn’t able to stay on the phone long. I asked if there was a fax number I could use to send the order, and was informed that there wasn’t one available. The employee suggested I call back when I had more time, which I completely understood. Later, I was able to call back and was fortunate enough to speak with Cecilia. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and efficient. Cecilia made the ordering process smooth and stress-free, ensuring the order could be submitted quickly while still allowing your team enough time to prepare the food. Her professionalism and willingness to assist truly stood out. Thanks to her, the entire transaction was seamless, and the food we received was delicious. I sincerely appreciate Cecilia’s outstanding customer service and the quality of the meals provided. Thank you again for your excellent service.
Food was fast, crossiants decent, pinnapple mango smoothie was delicious.
I frequently visit Cafe des Croissants, and have been for years. The staff are kind and friendly, the atmosphere wonderfully varied with locals enjoying delicious food, beverages, and conversation. This morning I experienced strong affirmation in my opinions. I watched as a person with some mobility difficulties try to obtain a beverage from a refrigerator cabinet while holding a plate that held a croissant. Unfortunately, the croissant slid off the plate and landed on the floor. Noeli, a wonderful and kind-hearted worker, quickly went to the person, picked up the croissant and said she’d bring another to his table. So attentive. So kind. Her kindness made me smile, and reminded me why I have been going there for years. Thank you Noeli, Jasmine, Emily, and everyone else for your kindness, efficiency, and smiles. And great food and lattes as well!!! I’ll see you next week!

For a solid coffee and wonderful breakfast options, this establishment is one I recommend. The egg sandwiches are totally wicked! However, not a huge complaint because the Service is pretty good but if I'm being totally honest it can be better because the cashiers seem a little gloomy compared to the customers who usually shop here.
Been going to Cafe Des Croissant for 20+ years. Different locations at time. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome. Really good. The croissants are good, but they used to be great....I still go once in a great while if I'm up in SR....
About as good as croissants get in the US. A tad more cake-like than you'd get in France, but otherwise great. The bags of day-old pastries are also a great deal and come out almost like-new after 5 minutes in a toaster oven.
Nice place to have a break from driving up to Sonoma Valley. The coffee was over roasted to our taste, so cappuccino we ordered was so-so. But croissants were good, especially those filled with apricot jam. Note that their croissants are huge compared with the ones you get in Europe or artisan bakeries in Silicon Valley, we shared for two people and that was quite enough for both of us. Did not try bagels or sandwiches though. There is a huge chessboard outside as well as one-hole mini golf. Balls and golf clubs are inside the cafe.
Cozy little bakery in Santa Rosa. Come early and get fresh hot donuts and pastries! Their sandwiches aren’t that great but everything else. 😊

Food is good but prices are out of control. Even the waitresses get attitude when you try to address it. A breakfast bagel shouldn't cost as much as a giant burrito..I just can't keep giving them my business anymore.
We've been coming here for years; long before they opened and closed a bunch of off-shoots, and we're delighted it's survived. They could do more to improve the decor, but the ambient lighting and tables are comfortable and we like the simple, old-timey feel of it (excluding the new digital menu). But the food is what matters and we're big fans of the size, freshness and quality of their croissants, as well as the generous amount of filling they usually provide. The trouble, of course, is inflation. Over the years we've always been able to get a sandwich here for a little over $4, which enabled us to get coffee and some dessert croissants to take home. Then last year it went up to a little over $5 per sandwich, which was still reasonable. But last week we went in and paid $20 for two sandwiches and nothing else. Between last year and this, they doubled in price. With my parents retired and me unsalaried, that's going to price us out of going and I'm pretty devastated about it. I'd rather they'd kept the chalkboard menu and affordable meals. I hope others can still afford to frequent them and keep them open.
I usually go to the one in Rohnert Park (drive thru typically) but I've basically been living in Santa Rosa for the past few months and wanted to try this location, saves gas too. The service was lame. I asked for two Thai iced teas and only got one and had to get charged again for the second. I have a hard time remembering what I want so I get anxious ordering sometimes and the barista made it known she was irritated with me and started tapping on the counter and giving me a rude look. Then when they bring the order out they just looked at me awkwardly. No "here's your /order/" no "have a nice day" nothing. These folks need to get retrained on their customer service skills. Call me a Karen if you want, but I work in the food industry too and always make my customers feel welcomed and heard even when I'm having the worst day and don't want to deal with people. It's called professionalism. Other than that the food is good.
I love croissants, so I had to try this place. I was the only one at the counter and waited a while before someone acknowledged me. I got three of the small croissants, which were all good, but definitely buttery and tender, not crispy at all. All were flavorful. Off a busy road, so sometimes hard to get into.
This use to be a favorite, but it now feels like the sandwiches are slapped together with little care and that the staff has lost their pride in the quality of work or caring about being friendly to the customers. It does not feel as welcoming as in past years. Hopefully it is just a glitch and they will come around.
I don't know how they get away with charging over $4 for a plain croissant but that and fresh squeezed OJ, which they do get the best Oranges in town for such, is the way they make bucks to offset other reasonable breakfast croissant or bagel options along with overpriced drip coffee. The ambience is bright and clean but decoration and welcoming design for a modern breakfast or coffee spot is sorely lacking. The family who works the kitchen and ordering line is nice but I do sometimes wonder if they take too much for granted their popularity due to location rather than their friendly demeanor's. Overall good food for a Sonoma County fast food breakfast spot.
Croissants weren't bad, but tasted more like buttery rolls with flavors. The place is clean, but feels pretty dated and not kept up.

Twice now I've ordered the harvest. I picked it BECAUSE an ingredient is avocado. The first time it didn't have avocado we tried calling but went to voicemail both times. That was ordered through doordash. When my husband went back to Cafe this time to tell them there wasn't avocado in the first harvest ordered the cashier confirmed it should of had it and that there was plenty. So husband came home and I wanted to make sure it was in there but AGAIN no avocado in my harvest. Someone isn't doing their job right or they just don't care.
Chicken salad, husband liked. Eggs and spinach, wife did not like. Soggy and not a good quality croissant. Meh.
Food is great but the girl with face tattoos treated my autistic boyfriend like an a, he asked for a croissant with red filling and instead of suggesting similar sounding items she spoke to us with bass in her voice "which one" and when he proceeded to ask the flavors she slapped the sign and said they're all here and continued to look at us annoyed, when it came my turn no matter how much I spoke up she insisted I speak louder and I was not comfortable with that seeing as my voice was strained, as a barista myself we are held to a way higher standard than this, hopefully in the future they can come to understand customer service and not just food service

We went out of our way to find a good croissant, and here, we failed. They should call themselves Cafe Pillsbury. If you are looking for a true croissant, this is not the place to go to. The plain croissant, though large, was not flaky, and was thick and doughy. Otherwise, the coffee was decent and the counter service was pleasant. Pass if looking for proper croissants.

The gaslighting here is crazy. Ordered a spicy lovers’ burrito online and paid $2 extra to add a special request which I asked for no meat since I’m a vegetarian. I picked it up and there was ham all in it. I brought it back and they made me a new one but they tried gaslighting me and telling me it was just onions. I was baffled as they brought out another burrito and opened it and said “this is our spicy lovers it was just onion” like you could’ve opened up the one I brought in and see for yourself that there’s ham. Thinking people can’t tell the difference between bacon and onions. I will not be back.
Bad customer service they’re always don’t have the mini cinnamon croissant. I order from DoorDash the last calls me from the store telling me she don’t have it and she will refund the money I told her they should remove it from the menu since they no longer selling it she responded with that’s not my problem bye and hang up on me. Rude
Horrible customer service. Been a fan of the croissants for quite some time but staff was a real turn off today. Walked in and waited patiently to be helped. We were ignored for about 10 mins and when a young woman finally helped us she was completely rude. When we didn’t know the name of a croissant and pointed she would get completely appalled and talk in the most inconsiderate and rude tone. When I said I wanted a cheese croissant she rolled her eyes saying “we don’t have cheese” when there was clearly cheese on multiple different types of croissants on the wall. I then asked about those croissants and she named them all of which contained the word “cheese” in them. Ironic. She kept just consistently making it a point that we were making her life difficult by essentially just asking questions or wanting assistance as any customer would. I even left her a tip in the tip jar thinking “everyone has bad days I have no room to judge.” She didn’t even say thank you for the tip and just huffed off. Such an upsetting trip to such a delicious cafe! I hope no other customers had a similar experience.
Found a clump of hair or dust in a bagel I bought. Been going here for over a decade and pretty uncomfortable about their baked goods now. The feta and spinach croissant also was so hollow and like 98% dough the last time. Barely got the taste the filling. Disappointed to have a past favorite bakery make this quality of food. I also have photos of the hair clump.
Girl with long brown hair in a ponytail behind the counter was scratching and picking at her scalp while waiting for me to order was grossing me out. I was glad another girl made our food. Also the almond croissant was disappointing; it had almond paste only in the ends and not in the center. Looks like it could be a fun place but I wouldn't go there again.
I came here on a whim based on a family member’s past experience and had high hopes I was going to be satiated. Honestly, not this time. Bagel sandwiches were slapped together with more eggs compared to other pairings for the sandwich. Bacon pieces were miles apart just the same for the avocado. Overloaded with jalapeño peppers and onions. Maybe I should have gone with coffee and warm pastry instead and I’d have been satiated. The coffee is great tasting aside. I understand we’re in a pandemonium however that doesn’t say the standard of a food business should go the pits.
I got a blueberry bagel this morning. I asked for it to be toasted. When I opened it up when I got to my destination (3 minutes away). The bagel felt like it was never toasted. Also the bagel had absolutely no flavor at all. It had a blueish twang to it but not 1 blueberry to be found. It felt like I was biting into a health-food wheat bagel. Idk about their croissants but stay clear of the "sweet" Bagels, they aren't good, in my opinion... Customer service was also rushed and didn't stand out. But not bad at all.

I started going to Cafe de croissant years ago. Their croissants were excellent. I haven't been in awhile but decided to pop in for breakfast. My croissant was the worst I've ever had in my life, and I'm a senior. There was nothing flaky about it, it was a blob of dough with hardly any filling. I will never go there again.
I really don’t like leaving bad reviews for small businesses, but I gave them a chance. I asked for the owner to call me—no one ever did. I had ordered a veggie croissant sandwich with sausage, but when I opened it at work, no sausage. I called the next day, and the staff was rude, telling me I’d have to buy another sandwich, and they’d only compensate for the sausage. I shouldn’t have to pay more to get what I originally ordered. I hope they reconsider their approach to handling order mistakes in the future.
Terrible experience. Ordered online, got confirmation, got an ETA on order completion . I showed up, order is not even Confirmed, workers aren’t even aware that i placed an order. Wasted my time driving there. They don't even answer the phone. Called multiple times, tried to cancel the order and they don't even know what to do. Asked to speak with someone in charge and they said “ We dont have a manager, call tomorrow to get a different person” someone please make it make sense! What kind of workers do you have working here ? Just terrible and STILL no refund. Someone please reach out and fix this asap.
First time I've ordered food there and have had to take back it was worst breakfast sandwiches I've had ever. What a bummer because food is usually good .
