Yes I’m a Repeat Offender at the Criminal Baking company! The Apple and bacon cheddar scones are the perfect flakiness. Catch the lemon blackberry muffin warm from the oven and I’m in heaven. The homemade English muffin sandwiches are hearty fare to fuel up before hiking or biking! Thank you

Ordered 14 pies for an outdoor wedding reception in June. Advice from the very helpful baker was fruit pies that would hold up in warm weather outdoors. Good advice! They were like home made, like your grandma would have made them! Apple, mixed berry, blueberry, & peach. Also had a banana cream pie and coconut cream pie for family the next day. Equally as tasty. If you need a lot of pies, plan and order at least two weeks in advance. ( gluten free pie crust alternative was also offered. We had regular flour crust)

Ordered a vegan birthday cake online and it was amazing! Emailed CB with a question about our order and got a reply that same day! Very helpful and it was ready when promised. Tough to find a delicious, made to order vegan cake, luckily we did with Criminal. Highly recommend! Update. Ordered another vegan cake online for a special bday. It was a coffe cake and it looks and tastes delicious! They also have a selection of delicious pastries and cookies (with vegan options) available at the bakery. 1/2025: update: ordered a "golden tonic" vegan birthday cake for my son's 17th. It was delicious! The frosting was the perfect sweetness. Customer service excellent as usual. So glad we have this awesome Vegan friendly bakery in SR!

Absolutely amazing bakery. We wandered in because our hotel didn't serve breakfast, and were so glad they hadn't. This place was amazing, and had things like a bacon, cheddar scone along with the usual fruit scones, a raspberry rhubarb bar, and brown butter brownies. They had also just taken some cinnamon rolls out of the oven, and the baker in the back popped one of those into my sack instead of the cold ones out front. The espresso drinks were good and hot, and the service friendly and cheerfully fast.

The BEST gluten free baked goods ive ever had! The scones are so flaky, buttery and delicious!!! The kind of high quality gluten free treat that makes you double-take and say “WAIT IS THIS GF??” And yes yes it is lol. Big selection in the case of gf items when i went 5 or 6 cookies, 2 scones, a breakfast tart in a gf shell, a frittata, 3 or 4 types of big, luscious GF muffins, all sandwiches made with a fresh seeded GF bread, a chocolate bundt cake, a glorious sticky bun, i could go on & on. Espresso on point, spicy black chai made in house with good quality spices you can taste. Visiting from chicago but we will gladly make the trip back just to have more gf pastries at Criminal!

If you're in Santa Rosa and haven't hit up Criminal Bakery, you're seriously missing out. It's not just a bakery; it's a flavor bomb waiting to explode in your mouth. Every pastry here is a wild ride of phenomenal flavors. Sweet, savory – they've got it all, and it's all ridiculously delicious. Seriously, it's like a party for your taste buds. I could ramble on about how amazing it is, but why take my word for it? Do yourself a favor and go try them. Your taste buds will thank you. Trust me, Criminal Bakery is where it's at, baby! 😋🥐🍰

The Bacon Apple Cheddar Scone was the best scone I have ever had.

Top notch bakery! Very delicious pastries and breakfast foods. If you’re searching for quality treats and you like the best you can get you will be pleased with the baked goods here. The pastry doughs and crusts taste better than they look. I tried many things from here for the 1st time recently and was pleasantly surprised. Some items you’ll need to ask for them to be heated up. The Bacon Bandit breakfast sandwich is prepared with the softest and tastiest homemade English Muffin! I’ve had the quiche and many of the pastries. Most everything was really good. The staff here are very friendly. This spot is a must try.

Outstanding place - went twice on our trip. They serve sweet and savory baked goods - lots of GF options - cookies - cakes - to go bake at homes - tremendous eggs sandwiches and tasty coffee drinks. Make time to stop here. I loved the egg sandwiches with goat cheese and lemon curd.

The scones here are insane, so good! I come back often for the Apple, bacon, cheddar scone. Everything we have tried from the baked goods has been so good, as well as the breakfast sandwich. Everything is made with high quality ingredients. The coffee is good, matcha is great. I would say the line here is long, it is not a quick stop. It definitely is a 20 minute ordeal at the least, so prepare for that when you come here. But there’s always a line because it is good, so I think it would be worth the stop.

I live a couple hours away in a very rural area, but I go into Santa Rosa every couple weeks to hit costco and whatever else. Criminal Baking Co came into my Facebook feed. I decided to stop by when I went to town. Got a few items. All delicious. I highly recommend.

Popular out of the way bakery cafe. Great variety of imaginative versions of pastry standards. Half a dozen different scones, tarts, cinnamon buns, and more. Funky setting in a repressed warehouse not too far from Railroad Square. Not impressed with quality for price.

Some of the sandwiches have goat cheese, so beware if you don't like that. Elderflower almond bear claw ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: pretty decent bear claw with a flaky crust, but I don't get a strong elderflower flavor. Orange raspberry galette ⭐️⭐️⭐️: the jam was nice, but the galette was really dense and bordering on hard.

I was really looking forward to this bakery, but left kind of disappointed. We ordered 2 sandwiches, which were pretty dry. I believe it was the Fast Talker. The homemade lemonades were completely over sweetened. Couldn’t finish it due to the amount of sugar in it. I really want to give this place another chance, but I’m afraid to go back.

I ordered a mama Mel’s gluten free cinnamon roll for $7.50 and a regular cinnamon roll for $7.50. The gluten free cinnamon roll was absolutely disgusting. Inedible and had to be thrown out. And the size difference was a joke. My child asked if someone had eaten half of it. Please stop selling those tiny abominations. It feels like you are taking advantage of people with gluten allergies.
