Somos cuatro amigos de Málaga. Todo súper bueno. Espectacular la relación calidad precio, todo todo de diez. La camarera que nos a es lo mejor que hemos conocido en esas vacaciones. El dueño también estaba y genial también. Muchas gracias por todo. Protocolo de Covid también bien. Ah, los postres!!!! No dejéis de pedir el arroz con leche y la leche frita. Mmmmmmmmmm Volveremos, eso seguro!!!

Cenamos un día pescado y muy bueno todo. Hoy hemos probado el menú del mediodía por 12€, con 5 primeros y 5 segundos, con bebida, pan y postre. Todo muy bueno y el personal encantador, muy atento y rápidos. Hemos repetido y lo volveríamos de nuevo sin duda.

One of -if not-the best restaurant in Santander!! Very rustic, traditional and home like atmosphere. Pinchos and tapas are great, don't get me wrong, but you're looking for something more in terms of "home-like food" , Cantabria restaurant is the place to visit!! The guy who took our order was really open hearted, didn't speak any English, but through a little Google translate and some "sign language, we managed to order!!! Make sure to order the tuna fish with red peppers homemade pie!! Shrimps with garlic were also a delight!

Visited this place along with my girlfriend having seen some of the reviews (and because it was near to where we were staying), and I highly recommend! We had a salted cod carpaccio, langoustines in garlic, and a mix of the croquetes, alongside some bread for the sauces etc. They were all great, the cod in particular; and the langoustines were simple but incredibly tasty. Alongside it, we had two jugs of sangria, which again was really good. The cost for all this was €57, which given what I might pay back in England was incredible value. In fact we initially tried to order too much, but the waiter told us to stop, which was good of him! It was a really relaxed atmosphere. It wasn't too busy, so we got a table outside, and there was clearly a big party of local people there for a meal as well (always a good sign). Fantastic service from our waiter for the night. For people travelling from outside Spain, they didn't speak English, but a mixture of my own (poor!) Spanish and Google translate got us through. And you can pay cash or card. Overall, fantastic meal and highly recommend.

Visited this place on a rainy Monday evening and found it to be a really great experience. Despite not speaking the language great, the service by the front of house team was really understanding in getting what we needed. The staff were pretty attentive on the somewhat quiet evening but very lovely throughout. The food is served in rather generous quantities from their sharing menu and of good quality. Standouts for me on the night were the Jamon de la casa and the braised beef cheek. Would definitely come to visit again if back in Santander!

I had the daily special and paid just 12€ and it was amazing. The quantity and the quality was spectacular for both the "cocido montañés" ( a bean stew with pork sausage) and the "chicharro Frito" (fried jack mackerel in garlic sauce). Beer bread and a huge portion of homemade cheesecake also included in the price And the service was nice, too.

Menu del Dia upstairs 2pm to before 4pm. Good choice 5 first + 5 seconds. Very tasty! Good portions. I had fabela beans(stew with pork/sausage/chorizo) and fish to follow. M had meditteranian ensalata mixta really good prawns+mushrooms+more+salad and veal escalope with chips to follow. Dessert and wine and water and bread included. Very fast good friendly service!

Menú casero y bueno por 15 euros. Volví a Santander por ir a este sitio. Rica ensalada ventresca, la carne se deshace de tierna y la leche frita es esponjosa.

Nada más entrar, no fueron especialmente simpáticos. Incluso el camarero que nos atendió rozó la mala educación. Pero al final, tras comentarle que no era una actitud adecuada, cambió radicalmente y fue muy amable. Todo el mundo tiene un mal día… y es por eso que esto no lo tengo en cuenta para mi valoración. Pero he de contarlo. El local tiene una sala al principio que está agradable, en nuestro caso, nos subieron a la primera planta que, habiendo avisado en la reserva con mucho tiempo que llevábamos un carro de bebé, no me pareció apropiado porque son bastantes escaleras. Hablemos de lo importante: la comida. Tienen un menú del día muy interesante, pedimos cocido montañés (muy muy bueno), sopa de cocido (normalita), ojito frito (espectacular) y huevos fritos con patatas y chorizo (es raro que eso falle en cualquier lugar). De postre, tarta de zanahoria y flan. En general, una comida muy rica y de buena relación calidad precio. No le pongo las 4 estrellas por que el lugar estaba sucio. Pero muy sucio. La planta de arriba descuidada, con talarañas. Suelos pegajosos. No estás cómodo del todo.

Restaurante amplio aunque también tiene terraza. El personal muy amable, uno de ellos muy majete jejeje. La comida estaba bien y en calidad-precio perfecto. Comimos de menú y esta muy bien lo que ofrece. Para aparcar dificil porque esta en plena ciudad.

Sencillamente espectacular. Comimos de menú, cocido lebaniego y de segundo costillas y bistec. Cantidades muy abundantes y bien cocinado. El servicio agradable, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba a reventar, con cola en la puerta y tenían poco personal (tenían cerrado un comedor). Yo no llegué a los postres, pero las tartas se veían increíbles. Lo único negativo es el baño. NO vayáis si podéis evitarlo. Espantoso. Por eso y porque tampoco estaba impecable en cuanto a limpieza en general, le quito una estrella Por el resto un lugar de 10 y el precio increíble. Si vuelvo por la zona, repito seguro!

La comida estaba muy rica pero nos pareció demasiado escasa. Las croquetitas demasiado minis, casi no te daba para probarlas. El revuelto muy rico. El rabo de toro genial, el que esté desmenuzado facilita mucho comerlo. Lo malo fue que nos sentaron en una mesa arriba, en una sala apartada que estaba fatal aclimatada y hacía mucho frío, cuando durante todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí vimos mesas vacías en el comedor. Además, en esa misma sala solo había una mesa con seis chicos muy jóvenes y escandalosos, se lo estaban pasando genial, cosa que me parece estupendo, pero si quieres cenar tranquilamente, prefieres hacerlo sin escuchar vociferar a chavales que van a salir de marcha.

Después de haber reservado con un mes de antelación y tener q llamar varias veces para q me confirmaran los menús, me encuentro con la mesa para 15 personas en la parte de bar, junto a la puerta y en la zona de paso. Estuvimos muy incómodos, incluyendo tener q levantamos a cerrar la puerta infinidad de veces. Tampoco nos trajeron los menús acordados.... Por lo menos el camarero lo capeó bien, estuvo atento y rápido y la comida estaba bastante buena. Precio barato. Pero no estuvimos a gusto

It was quiet when we visited but we had seen it last night very busy. Ambience was amazing we found the staff unfriendly and bit very welcoming but the food was good. I know we are foreign to the country but have found the people in santander very helpful and are glad it wasn't our first experience with them. Sad today we wouldn't return

Nos sentaron en la terraza, nos pareció raro que estuviese tan vacío siendo fin de semana de verano en Santander. Dentro del local no había muchas mesas ocupadas. El servicio por parte del camarero que nos atendió fue correcto en todo momento. Lo único que decían que no les funcionaba el datáfono, tuvimos que sacar dinero del cajero con su correspondiente comisión de 5€. Respecto a la comida, hacía años que no iba y ya no es lo que era. Ha bajado bastante de calidad. Pedimos varias raciones para compartir, lo único que se salvaba era la cecina y los langostinos al ajillo, aunque algo aceitosos pero de sabor tenían un regustillo picante aceptable. La ensalada de ventresca era un despropósito, 4 lomos de baja calidad con una cama de lechuga de bolsa iceberg. El pudín de cabracho no parecía casero, todo acompañado de nuevo con lechuga iceberg. El lomo se dejaba comer, las patatas estaban buenas y eran caseras. No tuvieron el detalle ni de invitarnos a unos chupitos pese a tener que ir al cajero en mitad de la sobremesa para sacar dinero con la correspondiente comisión. Al parecer no era la primera vez que ponen esa excusa…
