The food is tasty and the portions are good. We had the Cecina plate, it was delicious. The tamarindo water was refreshing. The enchiladas that were the side dish could be better.

Although it's not typical Querétaro food, it's so good that I went several times a week. We tried their plate with Huasteca antojitos (which we ordered as a starter, but it was so well served and so delicious that it fed four people well). The next day we went back to try their breakfast packages. The enchiladas are well-served (six enchiladas) and you can choose from many sauces. I recommend the empipianada if you're looking for flavor and the enchorizada if you're looking for something spicy. I was surprised by their water pitcher; it holds 3 liters and the lemon and chia water is very well made. I also want to order their fried plantain with cheese; it reminded me of Huasteca almost perfectly. The only thing that could be improved is the atmosphere. It's a restaurant that needs some lighting and some cleaning. But for the food and quality alone, it's more worth it than many more centrally located restaurants.

Amazing family restaurant that specializes in home cooking from the La Huasteca region of Mexico. I had spent time in the Huasteca region before and always missed this type of regional Mexican cuisine. Get their enchiladas con cecina. Trust me you won’t regret it. Huge portion size and this will forever change your mind about having enchiladas anywhere else again. Tlazcamati miac !

I came here a week ago; it had been two years since I'd had any street food from my hometown (Tampico, Tamaulipas). I came again today, and honestly, their snacks are delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The sopes are a good size: well-kneaded and prepared masa, beans, shredded beef, lettuce, tomato, avocado, queso fresco, crema, and served with salsa and carrots. By the way, I asked for more salsa and carrots, and they brought them to me. The cecina tacos are delicious: the meat is well-marinated, good quality, and served with cilantro and onion. They also brought me bottles of crema (which was good), salsa, limes, and carrots. You'll also find traditional Escuis soda, flavored water, plain water, etc. The place is pleasant, with a Tampico atmosphere thanks to the paintings and decorations. Oh, and of course, they play Selena music 🥴. The service was friendly and attentive. Thank you so much 🙂👍🏼

Los Martes y Miércoles (Buffet de enchiladas 🌮 huastecas hay variedad de salsas🌶) en tan solo $ 115. 💰 Yo probé este 👆😅 Te sirven 5 enchiladas🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 😋 al principio con papas 🍟, frijoles refritos 🍛, ensalada 🥗 y una proteína a elegir yo pedí cecina 🥩. Como soy muy nena con lo picante 😅🥵 pedí las menos picosas 😌 una de cada una 🙈, enmolada, entomatada 🍅, encacahuatada 🥜, empipianada, encremada. Después de ese platillo 🍽 ya solo vas pidiendo enchiladas 🌮 (tu eliges cantidad y la salsa 🌶) y como es Buffet recuerda que solo aplica para el consumo en el lugar. Pidan de poquitas porque se enfrían rapido. Lo acompañé con un escuis de hierro. 😍 Me enteré que los Jueves y Viernes hay Buffet de antojitos en solo $109 💰 prueba los molotes, sopes, tacos 🌮 rojos, flautas, quesadillas, tostadas. 🤤 📍 ¿Dónde? a media cuadra del Jardín 🍃 Guerrero Un cachito de las mejores huastecas 🇲🇽🍃 (Potosina, Tamaulipeca y Veracruzana). Se reconoce y se aprecia que usen productos huastecos. 👏🙌 Tienen un mural muuuuuy bonito en la pared.

A tiny, family ran restaurant that offers Huastecan food, which is a variant of Mexican cuisine that hails from the gulf region. The place is simple but comfortable enough. The service is friendly and prompt though mostly in Spanish. Food is definitely a little different though still familiar looking and tasting, and it is very good. Prices are also very reasonable. Overall, a place and a cuisine worth trying.

Traditional food place, everything is very tasty, in the case of the tortas de la barda in my opinion a traditional bolillo is better than the one they give you, since this one falls apart, but in general good, they have an extensive menu and for all tastes.

Food was ok, nothing to write home about. When we got there they only had tacos (and their derivations), no main entrees anymore. We walked there, didnt seem like there was parking nearby.

Servicio bueno, la comida muy X… sin mucho sazón… pedí enchiladas con milanesa y se notaba que la preparan desde antes, toda tiesa y sin sabor… las salsas muy picosas , aunque te avisan pedí una de un picor moderado y estaba incomible. Las porciones son generosas pero en sí la comida dejó mucho a deber.

The food is delicious, traditional Huasteca cuisine. However, the service is a bit slow. We were a medium-sized group, ordered, and everything was fine, but during our time there, they didn't return to our tables to check if we needed anything. Even when it came time to pay, we had to call them and get up to let them know we had already paid.
