We order a large amount of food (highly recommend their party platters) for our family's Easter dinner. We picked it up. They had it ready and brought it out to our car. Very nice employees. Friendly and pleasant. Prior to the pickup, the manager called to see if we wanted plates, napkins and plastic ware. So nice! No dishes for me! Once we picked up our food, they discovered that they forgot to put in one platter of our ribs. They tried to call my phone but I was driving and couldn't answer. When I got home I listened to their message and called them back. They apologized profusely for the error and VOLUNTEERED to deliver our missing item! So nice that I didn't have to leave my family and drive there again! They got there very quickly with our food. They went out of their way to apologize and make it right. Top notch customer service and everyone I delt with from the employee who took my phone order, who brought my order to the car, who called me to apologize and who in the end delivered our food were super nice and so helpful! They have earned my repeat business and you should go here!

It’s been great service lately at chilis

We went in late and the bar was open. We were seated quickly. We were offered drinks quickly. The server wasn’t particularly friendly but I have no complaints. The food was good. Overall I would recommend.

Food was very good. I had a six ounce sirloin and broccoli. The order was taken promptly. The food arrived reasonably soon with plenty of chips, salsa and beer in the meantime. Service was attentive without anyone hovering. It was very good. The decor is nothing special, just standard Chili's but it was fine.

Never before did I ever think I would give a national chain restaurant a 5 star review let alone a chain like Chilis. However, I have to say they have stepped up their game. This review is so much a reflection on a dining experience but on our take our experience. I ordered dinner via their website which was incredibly easy to use. When I arrived it was ready at took all of 2 minutes. When I got home I surprised that each individual item had its own container. I had fajitas which were surprisingly good but even better because each fajita item was in his own plastic cup. It makes a big difference compared to the fajitas I ordered to go from a local family Mexican place that arrived home soggy and all the ingredients mixed together like Mexican mush. Perhaps it's because I had low expectation or because I was just really hungry but I was pleasantly surprised. Chills To-Go will be seeing me again.

Chilli's is chilli's, it's American style food, it's not gourmet, it's not uptown dining, but it is comfortable, and the food is tasty and for sure the service is really good at this location. Managers are friendly, they smile, ask you how things were..it's a very comfortable place to just go and get a simple meal for a decent price.

This is our favorite lunch spot. They have specials as low as $10.00 per person. I love the boneless buffalo wings, and their fries are perfect every time

Great service! The food was good. Caesar salad had too much dressing and cheese, but the flavor was nice. Chicken tenders were crispy and hot. The chicken sandwich was a little on the dry side, but only from lack of sauce, otherwise very good. Portions were very large, so there was plenty to take home. Overall, good, and would return, lots of different choices on the menu to try.

Easily my favorite place to eat at in all of Oro Valley. Where else are you gonna get chips and salsa, burger, fries, and a drink, for 10.99?!?!? Kaylia is the best server in all of Arizona! Wife lost her purse here and the manager snagged it before anyone else could and held it for us to come pick it up! Amazing food and an even more amazing crew.

My roommate and I were in the area and stopped for lunch. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a margarita and ice water. The burger was so good. The lettuce, tomato ,and pickle were fresh the fries hot and tasty. The margarita was very delicious perfect for that lunch time relaxer. The bartender was very welcoming and took our order right away. The server was polite and delivered our food hot. A great meal..highly recommend this location..

We visit here about once a month, it’s always pleasant and we leave happy and the other night it was above the bar! It started with a warm greeting and the hostess, Capri, was so kind and patient with our rambunctious son. This is a huge deal for families. Then we ordered and I had asked for his chocolate milk to come out with his food and someone brought it early but it wasn’t a big deal to me. However everyone was so apologetic about it, our server, the runners, the host. There was an issue with my food, it also wasn’t a big deal but they offered to correct it immediately. I was thankful and again they were all very apologetic, Brayden and Cami both. Cami, the manager even when the extra step and comped the meal. As a family coming to out to pay for a meal and dinner experience we left extremely happy. Even though there were minor hiccups they were just happy to fix it, it didn’t matter if it was our fault or theirs. And that’s what makes the difference, we felt like they wanted us to enjoy our meal and it wasn’t just a job for them. Food was great, atmosphere was great and the service was amazing! I was there with my family this last week and was lucky enough to have Grace as my server. She was incredible!! She took such good care of us and her customer service was amazing, I work at 2 local restaurants as a server and as a certified trainer and I KNOW exactly what it takes to be a great server and she is among the best I have ever had and we will be back because of her and the great food thank you again

Couldn’t have asked for a better waiter! I wish I could remember his name! He was so kind to my children who kept handing him Pokemon stickers. Didn’t complain a single time my children asked for more ketchup or refills. Food was amazing as always! Triple dipper is always the way to go! Loved the new motzarella sticks. Perfect addition! Faculty was clean and well managed! Overall an amazing experience.

Riley and all the young men who served us were excellent at their jobs. The food came out so fresh and hot, with kindness and smiles. I'd say this is the best Chili's experience I've ever had. This location is doing it right, I wish all locations were this great. Too bad I do not live here to go to every time.

This is the best Chili's we have ever been to and the view of Pusch Ridge is hard to beat. Never a problem here. Excellent service, order is always correct, and the value is good. Sure it is a chain, but they do a great job. Always a big hit with the family! Make sure to sign up for their rewards program and get deals like free chips and salsa!

Had an impromptu dinner with friends Friday night, and Grace was fantastic! Not only did she go above and beyond answering our questions, ultimately helping us make proper decisions based on dietary restrictions and even just likes and dislikes, she made our night with her cheerful attitude and sweet demeanor. On top of that, our food was bomb. The kitchen also did an excellent job of preparing everything, and this was hands-down my best experience here yet. Definitely going back (and not just when I have a gift card). Thank you, Grace, and all that served our table in some way. The food is good , portions are massive i am almoat 6' 190lbs and i could only eat half of the double bacon rancher, and most of the fries. Was good atmosphere lighting is good i think chilis is a great mid tier restaurant that doesnt get as much attention . Fod wise its very on point its standard fair its nit sophisticated cuisine it is hearty meals that hit the spot. Criticisms would be a uodsting and or remodelling of the tables n chairs our table wobbled alot. Bench seats were comfy again just an update of decore would be great. People food and ssrvice were very good.

The fajitas were great! We split the triple meat fajitas and still had left overs. The Frozen Margaritas were just the right size and mix, not watered down or so strong you couldn't drink them. We had lunch and it wasn't crowded or too noisy. We'll be back.

Possibly the best service from a waiter I have ever had! My wife and I had lunch here with my parents and we all enjoyed it. From the free chips and salsa through our app, to adjusting my dad's order after he requested it, to drink refills, chips and salsa refills, the accuracy of the order, the accuracy of the bill, and the politeness and knowledge of the menu - our server handled our every request with promptness, kindness, and accuracy. He even honored our request for a refill of chips and salsa to go (which astonished my dad)! It made such an impression on us that both my dad and I went and spoke to the manager and told him how positive our experience was. I regret that I forgot the server's name, but he was fantastic!

One of the best Chili’s locations I’ve ever been to! The food was absolutely spot on fresh, hot, and cooked just right. The restaurant itself was very clean and located in a nice, safe area, which made the whole experience even better. But honestly, none of that was the best part. What really made this visit stand out was our waiter, Riley. He did an absolutely fantastic job friendly, attentive, and so genuinely kind. We even overheard him interacting with other tables, and it was clear he treats every guest with the same warmth and care. That’s the kind of service that turns a good meal into a memorable experience. He truly deserves recognitionor better yet, a raise!

Honestly didn't deserve a tip but y'all know me I ain't know broke playa🤣😤💪🏿so I still dropped that pretty penny💵 Great food and great location! We had a great experience from the moment we stepped in the door, to our wonderful server, Jazz. We were seated from others, I suspect it was because it wasn't busy. We arrived around 6PM on a Wednesday night. The host had the best personality. Our server Jazz was on top of everything. The food was delicious! Best experience!

This chilis is great. The one drawback is that they have called Last Call over 45 minutes before closing. There are over 19 people in the bar area with others waiting to be seated. Not used to a bar area doing last call so early. Great chips & salsa

On this day i oprdered and picked up boneless wings. we had our food within 15 min of ordering, Not a big fan of chilis that why I picked it up. I was happt at how efficent this location is. parked on the pick uo spot and had my food within 2 min. and the `wings and sacue were very tasty. would ordertake out here again.

Shared sirloin, steak, dinner with hubby. Steak was good. Side of broccoli was not. Odd taste so asked waiter for something else. The waiter was kind enough to exchange the broccoli for french fries, which were perfect

Food was good, restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. However, one person in our party signed up for the rewards program. Shortly after that a server (not ours) delivered an order of nachos to the guest that signed up. We stated that no one ordered any nachos, but he left them anyway. We assumed it must be part of the rewards program. As we sampled the nachos while we waited on our order, our server, (Dominick) came to the table and removed the nachos saying we didn’t order them. That’s what we told the other server. We all realize that it was a mistake, However, that was extremely rude and unprofessional to remove food from the table as we were eating it . I might add with no apologies. Normally the service is good but this was strange and abnormal. There were other of his mannerisms that were below standards for servers. I would ask to be reseated if sat in his area again.

The service was good, the food was as expected. I ordered the honey-chipotle chicken crispers, and I most say that while they tasted great, they were tiny. Overall an enjoyable experience, and we will be back. Also, the views of the Catalina Mountains are an unexpected bonus.

The servers are amazing, I never went without a sip of my drink. I didn’t even have to ask for another refill. They just kept coming(free refills btw). The atmosphere was nice and cozy. I did go in the evening maybe that played into factor but definitely a nice place to go watch a football game. The food was alright. It could have been better. Although the triple dipper was absolutely amazing.

Food was ok. I don't know that we ate anything there that would have us searching for a chilis to visit, but the waitress was excellent. Very kind and attentive. My kids liked the boneless wings and chicken sandwich. The potato soup was barely room temp. I recall visiting chilis back in the day and it having a fun vibe. It feels a little stale these days.

Always great food! Please instruct Austin (and all servers) to let people know that the chips and salsa are not complimentary when they offer them. It ended up okay because I got the 3 for me and included the chips and salsa but when we sat down we were asked if we'd like some for the table. We said yes then later found out there was a charge. I suggested later that he make sure to let people know there is a charge and he said that he did- that we had an agreement to bring the chips and salsa. I explained that the conversation led us to believe, like other restaurants, they were complimentary. He did not acknowledge the issue. It also took too long to take our orders, refills, and boxes - we had to flag someone down every time we needed anything... Even the bill. Y'all were not busy at all Just better customer service, please and thank you

The food was great, the service was fine. The only thing I think was different was the salad I ordered got smaller and the prices went up. Still a very good meal and great service was given to us.

UPDATED Oct 29, 2024 -- I used Chili's mobile ordering app for the first time. I probably won't use it again, and will find somewhere else to order "to go". The ordering part was straightforward enough, although the app could have made it a bit more obvious how to modify the 'standard' configuration of the food. It told me the food would be ready between 3:45 p.m. and 3:50 p.m., and I would get a SECOND text message telling me when I should come inside (suggesting I sit and wait in the parking lot in the meantime -- which I did) to pick-up my order. Well, I waited and waited and waited, and about 3:49 p.m., I decided to go inside to check. There was a 'pick-up' area, but no one was there, so I saw someone standing at the Bar (who I had seen enter the the 'Pick-Up' door a few minutes earlier, so I went to the Bar and waited for a bit, and someone came and asked what I wanted. When I told her I was there to pick-up an order, she just pointed to a stainless steel 'bakers rack' behind me, and said "That must be it." She wasn't rude. But, she didn't give me the impression that she, or Chili's, valued my business, or could care less if I every dined there again. Well, it turns out that the order sitting there, getting cold, was mine; and it looked like it had been there for quite a while. When I got it home, about 5 minutes later, indeed, the food was luke warm. I am sorry I gave the 'pick-up' workers any tip and all, and if I could take it back ... of course Chili's requires you state your tip before the employees do anything to deserve it ... I would. If Chili's' management wants an example of a business who shows its customers that it like having them as customers and wants them to come back, I'd suggest studying how the good folks at La Hacienda Mexican restaurant at 1st & Tangerine, in Oro Valley, greet their customers. They are invariably friendly, helpful and attentive. Chili's, on the other hand, seems to have fallen into thinking that customers are a 'given' and you don't need to show them common courtesy and appreciation for their business. _____________________________________________ Service was outstanding. The hamburgers were way overdone.

Make sure you don't drink water from their bar, it's disgusting. Overall, I was very happy with my $10 lunch burger with an appetizer of loaded baked potato soup, but they gave me water that was unpalatable, make sure thwy give you the good water otherwise you'll end up spitting it up. Oh, and the new watermelon margaritas are delicious 😋.

Food was tasty, plentiful and assorted options. They were okay with some adjustments to the menu. Wonderful and improved quality. Service was outstanding for our large party of 12.

As far as chain restaurants go we love Chilis… The food is always hot and consistent, we love the warm chips and salsa… The 3 for me you can’t beat the price and food.. the big mouth chicken sandwich, the burgers and the tenders. Are all our favorites..the fries have the best seasoning on them.. fajitas come out sizzling too!!! A few weeks ago I actually did a to go, never had before we always eat in.. It was packaged so well, hot and fresh and they brought it right to the car!!

*Note: Due to the 10pm curfew, this location will not let you to come to dine-in after 9pm.* This Chili's has been always a safe bet for a nice, but not too high end bite. Consistently good quality food, which meets what you would expect from a chain such as Chili's. 👍 Recently this location has expanded its to-go pick up service, with additional parking spots dedicated for this having been added. I assume that using spray paint and freehanding dedicated spot numbers to the asphalt is only a temporary solution, until something more in line with the branding gets worked out. In the meantime, the current markings add a slightly ghetto vibe to the entrance to this location. I am pleased to confirm that social distancing is being used when separating different parties to their own tables/booths. From what I saw, with the cleaning supplies having been left to the table next to me, it also appears that a good effort for disinfecting the surfaces is made. Again, though, I thought that it was a slightly 'off brand' approach to leave spray bottle and a cloth next to the diner's table -- or, being seated right next to the kids booster chair storage area... Same was echoed in a slightly sloppy signage, which had been certainly produced in-house without consultation of the brand's visual guidelines. 🤷‍♂️ As for the staff, the busy night seemed to have taken a toll on them, which is understandable. Still a little confused about seeing/and having to listen the manager's loooooong personal call right next to the booth where I was seated. But, we all have sometimes off days -- and this year has really tested restaurant staff, so I did not find this as a real issue. I have to say that food was to the normal good standard that I have to come to expect at this location. It is not fine dining, but definitely more than a fast-food place's drive-through burger.

Weird smell as we walked in, thought it might go away...nope. Our soups were all served to us barely warm. Our waiter didn't come back to check with us (nor could we find one) until our entrées were dropped off. We asked for hot sauce a few times before we got any. The burgers were OK. They were not busy at all, so inattentive and food ok.

Hamburger wasn't cooked all the way but they did replace it service was okay, kind of like a sports bar but lacks atmosphere? Something was just a little off May try again in the future

We always enjoy eating here as a family. The food has a good flavor and I love the chicken enchilada soup. This time I had ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and it came out lukewarm/cold. I would have informed our server but the server didn't return to our table until the end of the meal. Overall it was a disappointing experience thus time around

I've been a server for 10 years. First, 1 of our orders came out incorrectly, which it happens so I understand. But I had to wait with my food for 10 minutes because I didn't want to eat without my partner. Then, I didn't get 1 single refill. I watched our server which I believe was Reese, look at our table many times and did not ask how anything was going throughout our whole meal. I had my empty glass at the edge of the table for him to clearly see, and was never giving a refill. Watching customers body language is very important as a server, we were ready to leave for 15 minutes, just sitting there, and was never attended to. I overheard him say to a manager "I only have 4 tables." So I was confused on his usage of "only" because he was not attentive at all. Tips reflect service. Other then that, food was good and we typically always have good experiences there.

Service was great, but the food was underwhelming. I ordered the triple dipper, because the photo in the menu looked awesome, only to be severely disappointed by the way the actual food came out. The breading on the chicken tenders looked nothing like the photo, and in fact, it looked like it was made with very cheap ingredients. The chicken tenders as a whole tasted like they were thawed after being frozen, then reheated. My mozzarella pieces were also a bit overcooked. The big mouth bites were still tasty at least. This location used to have really good food, but at this time, I can no longer recommend coming here. At least the service was good.

It’s chili’s. I got a steak and I mean it was alright deserving of 3 stars. They gave me “melted butter” on the side, it’s not butter, It’s the melted butter tasting seed oil, server wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu and couldn’t give a half order of an entree even though other chili’s locations can do it no problem. Overall not the worst but if you are right there I might even say I’d prefer the dennys.

Well, hadn't been to Chili's for years. Now I remember why. Nice restaurant, clean, pleasant bar area with lots of windows. Seating was fast and easy. Bartender/waiter tried hard, but was overwhelmed. Think they are understaffed. Took awhile to take our drink order, deliver them, and then awhile to take our food order. Menu takes some searching to find anything remotely healthy. Just about everything fried. Wife got the Southwestern chick salad, I got the grilled chicken sandy with side salad, no fries. We both ordered top shelf Don Julio margies. On the small side, sweet and sour mix, light on the tequila. Yeh yeh yeh. No biggy. Food came quickly. Wife's iceburg lettuce (no quality leafy greens) was pretty old looking. Lots of it was wilted and brown. The chicken was finely diced, pretty tasty. But the appearance, yuck. She commented she would never serve a meal with lettuce that far past it's prime. Ditto for my salad. Just blah, wilted brown iceburg lettuce, a few croutons, couple of chopped up chunks of tomatoes, about it. Not much redeeming about it. My sandy, on the other hand, was pretty good. Big chicken breast, well cooked and flavorful, very tender. Crispy bacon, iceburg lettuce but fresh, big slice of plastic tomato was the only downer. Then the bill came. $60.03 for that meal. Mediocre fare at a premium price. America at it best! We'll eat at home, wife knows how to make quality food and it costs about 1/4 of this.

Atmosphere was nice. Food was okay, bordering on mediocre. Service was great at first--very friendly and attentive. But after we got our food, the wait staff was nowhere to be found.

I went to Chilis last week, the first time since they got their new menus and was disappointed the chicken salad was taken off the lunch menu. If I remember correctly it was 10.99 (with a soda I believe) and now it is 15.39.. WOW... there is now no salad in the lunch specials. a 50% increase is a lot to take in. I think I'm going to have to pass. P.S. The service has always been great here.

I got the steak fajitas. Not very many veggies, the Spanish rice didn't have enough enchilada sauce, so it tasted very bland. They were out of corn tortillas. The steak was on point though. Got the Skillet queso and chips which had waaaay too much beans in it, no taste of cheese, just tasted like a bean dip, which was still good, just not what I was expecting to get from a queso. My friend got the sirloin with full order of shrimp which was forgotten about. After waiting 10 minutes the we managed to flag our waiter down to correct the mistake on the missing shrimp. And also bring the water I initially ordered in the beginning of our meal. I got the frozen Strawberry margarita which was AMAZING! Kudos to the bartender. That's the only reason this review gets an extra star rating. Through the entire meal though our waiter never checked on us or was even the least bit interested in customer service. We were flagging down random waiters/waitresses for anything we needed: refills, napkins ( which we never got ) and the most important...UTENSILS! Which took another 10 minutes to get, so food was a bit on the cold side by the time we started eatting. It took 2 people just to bring us our check and to go boxes. Ridiculous treatment after an $80 bill. Will not be back a second time. One and done.

I have not been to a Chilis in over ten years. In addition, I have never felt uncomfortable in Arizona being non-white. I have to say my bartender was good but it changed when I ordered dessert. By that time I had tipped a $20 on a $50 bill. My dessert took a long time. Plus two of my desserts were supposed to be warm but they weren't. I really hate to say it was because of the color of my skin but it certainly felt that way. During these times we are stressed just to meet our basic needs. So there's a real issue when we can't treat each other with respect. Look around and see what's coming. This world is crumbling. Our time is near. Our children will be the ones to endure the horror. Why does the actions of a few ruin it for everyone? God bless!

Everyone has been talking about how much more affordable chilis is than even McDonald’s these days… but that isn’t the case.

Love this location and usually come here every week. Service is always great. With the new menu change they too off both the skillet quest and white quest dip. Replaced with a less tasteful, runny southwest quest dip. Not good at all. Lost a co listens customer until the original dips return!

Too bad, from hero to zero. First time(Thursday)ribs were delicious, meaty and fresh. This time dried out, reheated, not edible. Would have talked to the manager but he was busy. Difference between a Monday lunch and a Thursday? Others at my table enjoyed their hamburger and Quesadilla, but a zero for the ribs.

Why are they just standing there and not doing they're job. Sat there for 20 mins waiting and a few people that came after me are getting they're orders and was doing a doordash order, just ridiculous. Also I wouldn't want someone wiping their nose with their hand with no gloves even touch my food after. I watched an employee do that from my car, that's just too much for me. There just slow and breaking codes as well as that!!

Wanted to treat myself for my bday and got takeout. Got the Bacon rancher burger, had it before so I know what it normally looks like. Got home, opened it up, and it had 1 patty not 2. Paid extra for avocado slices, they put one single baby slice on it. Should have 6 pieces of bacon, received one. Asked for cheddar cheese, received no cheese. Asked for no onions, got onions. Manager says cook is new and training. Well that falls on him for not training properly or overlooking him. Also texas fries were a complete mess. Extremely dissatisfied. Ordered food today and I was very excited. Then I saw the food. My wife's looked and tasted good. Me and my daughter were not as lucky. It was just awful. My steak was grey with no color, tough, and just got a couple pieces of broccoli. My daughters was a hamburger and it had grease just coming out I believer her at first so I checker it out and it was bad. We had a big order about 70 bucks for 3 people.

My son who we call the "Chili beast" was super excited to come to CHILIS to eat CHILI and guess what we learned when we got to CHILIS, there was no CHILI. What! What kind of of world do we live in trumps got to fix this soon, when Biden was president the world went DOWNHILL once they removed chili from chili. Trumps needs to stop worrying about the tariffs and start worrying about this chilis catastrophe On April 23rd at 3:32 PM I am hosting a protest to get chili back on the menu and to fix this world WHOS WITH ME! Been going to this place for years. Food was always excellent. Not anymore. Petal blossoms are off the menu. Their street corn was over cooked and dry, Burgers seem smaller and dry, and not many fries served with the meal. The chicken on the sampler plate was under cooked and slimey. It used to be my favorite restaurant. Disappointing.

Pathetic. Showed up tonight at 820pm to a very empty Chili's. Was a bit worried, but our family of 5 was hungry from a long trip in. Took a long time to even get acknowledged and sat. Once we sat, we waited a while before a drink order was even taken . Drinks were taken and delivered a while later, only to sit for 15 minutes without even taking our orders at all. Noticed others were looking agitated and food was coming out slowly. The only person getting any attention turned out to be a female at the bar celebrating a birthday. Had enough after near 30 minutes and all we got were drinks. Used the kiosk to pay. Thank God for that, or else we would have waited even longer just to pay our $6 bill for drinks. Seemed like the staff wanted us to leave. One less customer to worry about on an empty Saturday night. Now I understand why this location was empty on a Saturday night.

Curbside order - gave me someone else's item and not my item. Realized this when I got home. Called in and no manager available to speak with me. Came back to the restaurant and the to go person offered to make my missing item again. So one person in my family sits with nothing to eat while I'm doing this and I get to go home and eat a dead, 45 minute old $25 entree. Thanks!

We go there once a week , want on 9/21/25 ordered the old time burger and let me tell you it was soak in nasty grease 🤮 I guess they don’t press down on the patty to remove the all nasty grease. I won’t be going back.

The food was great until about half way through my meal I found a strand of medium long black curly hair in my chicken tenders :(

I ordered the trio appetizer and the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks were SO SALTY I could not eat them. The egg rolls were ok but not worth what I paid. My burger was ok but still kind of salty. Not as bad as appetizers. I was so disappointed because I saved my appetite all day for this. I don’t think I will go back.

Chili’s never fails to disappoint. $40 for luke warm food that’s WELL below the 140 degree sanitary holding temperature and servers that drop you like a hot potato BEFORE you pay the ridiculous bill. What was I thinking?

Tonight we did not eat @ Chili’s. We frequently eat at Chili’s especially in the late evening. We live much closer to the AZ Pavillions / Cortaro Rd location BUT we prefer the Oracle Rd / Oro Valley location. Tonight because of monsoon weather, we arrived around 8:45 -9pm. We weren’t concerned because per their website they close @ 11pm on Fridays. The “hostess / greeter” offered the option of the “lounge” / bar. My husband said no we rather be seated in the dining area. She informed us “although tables are vacant she could not seat us in the dining room as there was only one server available” She said “so if it okay I’ll seat you in the lounge”. My husband responded “No it’s not okay” She shrugged and did not offer any alternative nor respond verbally at all. I said “well I guess we need to find another place to eat” she remained silent and stood there looking past us as if we didn’t exist or were a non-entity. We left. We do not like dining in a bar setting. Chilis refers to it as a lounge, but to us it’s a bar. Customers should be able to eat where they are most comfortable. I’m was truly disappointed and surprised by her poor customer skills as we have never had a negative experience @ this location. We have always been greeted with kindness and our seating choice respected. Our servers have always been exemplary and our food has always been expertly prepared and promptly served. The Cortaro location is much busier, BUT we’ve never had an issue with being seated in the dining area. Cortaro’s service and food is not always consistent, but at least the “hostess” or person sitting guests has always respected our choice. The Cortaro location isn’t bad just inconsistent (primarily the cooks / kitchen) and very busy @ times. Don’t be discouraged by my review. As I stated we’ve never had a bad experience until tonight.

Sunday 4/21/24 8 p.m. First let me start by saying Austin (bartender) was amazing and I would have given all 5 🌟. Malvin however who covered his area when he went on break, absolutely the worst manager EVER. So I ordered their surf and turf Rib eye. I ordered it medium rare, I asked Austin how accurate they were, he said they temp, so I was like ok, it's a Chili's so I am sure we'll be fine if they temp. My steak came out and was, at its rares section a medium/medium well. I was very surprised but was going to just ask Austin if I was off or what. He had gone on break, and Malvin was covering. I tried to wave him down like 4 times, and told my wife, I am sure he saw me. Never came over etc. I was watching him the whole time, clean tables and watch the game. So it wasn't that he was too busy. Once Austin was back he had come over to ask how we were, I proceeded to explain the situation, and he said "oh no. Do you mind if I go grab my manager (Malvin)." Oh yeah, no problem but I tried to get his attention earlier, multiple times. Austin walked over to him, where I could still see him and was watching the talk (check cameras if you have them) and Malvin looked over at me as they talked and never came over. Too busy cleaning tables I guess. Austin came back, alone, feeling horrible and apologizing for the incident. You could tell he actually felt bad, Malvin on the other hand couldn't be bothered. Austin hand the meal refired, as they called it, and it was even worse. Keep in mind Austin did verified they weren't coming out, medium rare. The second one came out and had multiple parts that I cut ( ½" section) where one side of the piece was medium-rare and other side was medium-well. Being a steak guy, I can only assume the steaks weren't being thawed properly, etc. I ended up having shrimp, potatoes, & broccoli for dinner. Mind you, even after the second poorly cooked steak, Malvin didn't come over. I never talked to a manager and saw him the entire time, cleaning and watching the game. My wife even went to the bathroom and he was on the left side section watching the game, not working. Needless to say, I don't think we will ever be coming back, unless Austin is working and Malvin is not. We aren't sure. Austin was absolutely fantastic and he should be the manager. Malvin should be a dishwasher!!

We have people on a long term project here staying the Holiday Inn by Chilis. We have been going in after work hours for a beer and dinner last night the 28th of Oct.The service is pretty lax. We ordered ribs and when she brought it out and put it on the bar and left. We waited and then stopped her and asked for utensils, napkins and salt and pepper. She just blew that off and waited on others and ignored our request. We waited and nothing. Finally we just stood up and put a twenty down for our beers which we did not drink and then she came over with no utensils and looked at us like what is going on. We said we are leaving and that your service was inexcusable. We have always been courteous and respectful. Left good tips always. We went up the road to a BBQ & Brew establishment and were treated better than excellent. We left our waitress with a 75% tip and that will be our new place from now on. C'mon Chili's Manager.. you can do better.
