Food is great delicious, it's just the wait time ⏲️ other than that everything is 💯💯

If I was able to give the service a 10 stars we would. Our servers name was Heather. Heather was AMAZING and although we felt like she went above and beyond she did it so natural it’s her nature and we could feel that she really enjoyed her career. RJ was the gentleman who sat us and he was pleasant and kept a smile on his face. The food was fresh biscuits hot. I gave the food a three stars because it was not the flavor we expected and we will order a different flavor next time. However, because the experience was exceptional we highly recommend this location and will be back. Thanks again Heather ❤️

Red Lobster has always been my favorite. I haven't been here in years but went for lunch the staff was great, food was amazing. I know they changed the CEO recently and I hope it continues to thrive. The menu is totally revamped to cater to every seafood option. Would come back again this time for the drinks!

We truly enjoyed our dining experience at Red Lobster in Modesto, CA. The atmosphere, personnel, food and service was exceptional! The best experience we’ve had, in ages! Our waitress, Erica T., was such a joy! She was attentive, kind and pleasant! Our food was delicious! It was prepared with great care and attention, delivered to our table in a timely manner and served at the proper temperature. What a wonderful experience through and through! Red lobster is a never ending menu of seafood.. im not a seafood lover but i do love clam chowder soup. Here is delicious,warm and full of flavor. The drinks are always great. Cocktails and they made me a michelada on special request. The yucatan tilapia is so delicious, perfect for someone that is looking to taste a spicy food.. the lobster tail and all types of feast are well served and cooked perfectly...

The manager Tonya provided excellent customer experience, was very accommodating regarding our disappoint with changes of the new menu. My friends and I are repeat customers and come to Red Lobster just for the garlic shrimp scampi scampi. However, they changed their menu and didnt have our usual. However, Tonya came over and explained that the menu changed. She was patient with us despite our complaint and offered to find a solution for us. Also, our server Serenity also provided us with an exceptional service. She was pleasant and also patient. She kept checking in on us to make sure we were ok and we appreciated her friendly & prompt service.

Our server was Kassandra and she was great! Catered to our every need. She's very sweet and funny.

Ordered deliver for the second time in three days. The shrimp deals are hard to pass up. Anyway, I'm quite impressed with the quality and the taste. I ordered the Shrimp your way choose four deal. All my choices were in point including the mashed potatoes and of course the cheddar bay biscuits. The packing was neat and separated. I will definitely order again.

I have visited this restaurant a few times over the years at least 6 times with my husband. Last weekend (Sunday), I took my twin granddaughter to celebrate her 10th birthday. She requested alone time with me and her favorite dish of 🦞 . So we made a plan for the day. She was so excited! I have never been a fan of the cheesy biscuits. I feel they're too dry. I asked my waiter (Ernesto), who was awesome if they had honey? He said he didn't think so. While waiting, I tried to eat the biscuits. I made these biscuits at home and knew how good 😋 they pair well with 🍯. So, I asked another male waiter with a "big head of curly hair" the same question. He was very nice and said he would check. Meanwhile, Ernesto came back saying they didn't have any. I was disappointed until the big curly-haired angel came back with a small sauce dish full of caramelized 🍯. I was in 😲 because no Red Lobster provided it! Additionally, I also forget to bring some with me. I couldn't thank him enough! Ernesto eventually brought us our order. I told him about the 🍯. He was in shock and wanted to know who got it for me. I told him, but he still didn't know who it was. I ate all but 1 biscuit and took a second batch home. Ernesto was great, brought my granddaughter an ice cream 🍨and topped it off with a birthday serenade. However, I want to personally thank the amazing Latino, tall, football player-looking, the curly-haired hero for making my meal more desirable!!! My granddaughter and I had a great time celebrating her🎈🎂 🎀 💕 birthday without her twin brother. He likes 🦀, so we will be back!

Amazing food every time I go. You can choose anything on the menu and it will be good. I love the atmosphere and the service is always friendly. Definitely stop by if you are in the area. We went back for Fathers Day and our server was Justin. He 100% improved our experience with his personality and jokes. He also was very fast with drinks and making sure that everything was perfect. He is a waiter that makes me hope I get him when we go back! The food was delicious as always.

Laura helped us tonight and she was the sweetest lady and very knowledgeable on the restaurant and the menu. She got everything out on a timely manner and even brought us drinks when she saw we were out. She helped celebrate my mother in law’s birthday and made her day feel very special.

The new menu is a huge improvement. The jambalaya is outstanding. I got the extra spicy jambalaya and the spice was perfect. Loved the scallions on top and the sausage and shrimp with everything else, it was delicious 😋

My husband and I came here for our 35th anniversary dinner. Everything was great, food was delicious, nice quiet atmosphere and our server Michael was the best!!! We will be back sooner than later!!

We dined here on Thursday around 6:00. It wasn’t too crowded although there was a steady stream of customers while we were there. We were seated promptly, and Brenda our server was friendly and attentive through out our meal. We started with cocktails, the lemon drop martini was excellent as were the six crab stuffed mushrooms. We ordered Cajun salmon that had shrimp in a creole sauce on top, and the special of endless shrimp. A choice of several different preparations makes it hard to decide which two to choose, but since it’s endless start out with 2 and then choose a different style! The coconut jumbo shrimp (5) were indeed large ones. And the garlic butter shrimp were tasty and plentiful along with one side of your choice. 2nds on 5 more coconut shrimp were brought out promptly and left no room for dessert so we ordered ours to go. A generous portion of chocolate cake, that also comes with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Looks delicious but we will enjoy it later. We signed up for red lobster rewards so we can begin using our 10% discount next time we dine there. And the rewards never expire! A very nice evening.

All the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They all smiled so nicely. We had the margaritas flight of 3. Each was a full tumbler of tasty cocktails. Happy hour was offered at table service. That unexpected but a nice option. Appetizers were bubbling hot and we ate the whole thing. It was so good. Dinner was delicious as expected. Of course we had no room left for dessert, but a complimentary birthday surprise was a nice touch.

So my family took me to red lobster in Modesto for my birthday. I was really surprised at how much the meals cost. I was actually worried about getting a lobster tail. But I ordered a seafood plate that had a lobster tail crag legs two kinds of shrimp and two sides. I also had two pins coladas that were awesome! We had two servers because we had like 12 people. It was so awesome the meal was amazing the servers were so great! I would definitely do this again!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Red Lobster! The food was exactly what we were hoping for—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The biscuits were perfectly warm and buttery, and each dish came out quickly and well-prepared. What really stood out, though, was our server kassandra. She was outstanding from start to finish—welcoming, patient, and genuinely kind. She took the time to explain menu items, gave helpful recommendations, and made sure our table had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude made the meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s rare to come across service that leaves such a lasting impression, but Cassandra truly made our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for her again!

I’ve been going here my whole life. Last night the food and service was the best I’ve ever had. Went for Christmas Eve. Everyone was so nice and happy to serve us. Our server Heather was fantastic! We also talked with Abby the manager and she was wonderful too. The food and drinks were delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Our food was delicious and cooked on point, so we'd definitelygo back to the deliciousfood. Our server was great as well! The restaurant itself looks worn and is kind of dirty. The wall at our booth was covered in splashes of people's food and I wish they'd wipe that down every now and then as it looks like its been there a long time...yikes.

We ordered lobster 🦞 And it was really good and the service was great too. We were celebrating a birthday 🎂.

Went yesterday and the drinks were watered down and the bartender was not friendly and never greeted us when we sat at the bar. I had a problem with 2 drinks that u couldn't taste the alcohol and one was $15. Attending Mgr came by an said there was nothing she could do so I asked for the general managers name Farahd. The only bright spot of my visit was server Alex who works nights, his service was outstanding and should be commended for his excellent work ethic and attitude.

Good food great service but very expensive. Took my daughter and her friend there and they both steak and baked potato and I just had a cup of clam chowder and a shrimp appetizer and it was 98.00 dollars before tip. It was crazy. I felt it was prices we pay when you to the bay or Hawaii not here in Modesto. So probably won’t be back for a while if ever.

We met up my dad & his wife here for Easter we’re coming from Fresno my dad coming from Sac we met half way and there was an hour wait for seating dine service we pulled up in time as they’re called up next for our table the service was a little delayed we felt a bit rushed but I guess bc the waiter seemed a little behind on his tables & he was bombarded running around his section to catch up but other than that we enjoyed our entrees the biscuits were quite salty tho so I don’t know if the ingredients changed or if they were baked wrong I never remembered them being that salty before bc our fave was always the yummy delicious perfectly baked biscuits we’re grateful they’re open for Easter tho and just open for dine in service overall so we can go out to eat as a family & enjoy eachothers company

Came in for dinner with the family on a Saturday night. Right off the bat service was impeccable! Our server, Calley went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience… which we did. Food was delicious as well. Over all we had wonderful experience.

I haven’t been to a Red Lobster since I was 13, and I was overall impressed with my experience. I got the Mariner’s boil and that was great! Loved mixing the sauces and the lobster was really high quality. Everything else our group got was also good! Lastly, our server Laura was fantastic! Super friendly!

I had the Friday fish and chips, and my girlfriend got the unlimited clam chowder, salad, biscuits deal only available at lunch. These are cheaper meals, but I found them to both be tasty. While I was not particularly disappointed due to the cheaper price, I would not exactly go out of my way for either of these meals. The fish and chips at the nearby London Fish and Chips shop is a much better tasting meal at the same price point and the chowder was rather bland. I have honestly made much better at home with canned clams. Also, if I were to compare to their sister franchise, olive garden, I would much prefer to have their soup, salad, bread lunch deal.

Good food over all, but expensive. Server was friendly, but not above and beyond. Rock lobster wasnt very good in the lobster lovers duo. Next time ill stick to shrimp and Maine Lobster. The place could use a make over. Hasn't changed in 20 years.

We had to wait 45min alot of empty tables but short staffed so had to wait for a table that had service basically , it was sat before father's day Food was good , service was great, so because of the short staff people were two three tables away from us it worked out great I would return

Clean, friendly, accommodating, and delicious! Our server Alec was on his A-Game tonight. It was a hot day and I needed 4 glasses of lemon ice water and 2 Blackberry Smash's to get right! The Medium Mariner's Boil was full of flavor and had a kick.....glad I didn't get the spicy! Every request we had, Alec did his thing! The family definitely enjoyed our meal! We will be back!

Overall a good experience. The food was good and the service was nice. I got their new jambalaya, which had sausage and shrimp. I enjoyed the shrimp in the dish. The only critic I have, though, is that it is quite salty. The portion was a good size. I was able to finish it but felt pretty full. One person who went with me got a filet mignon with their order but they said it was tough. So maybe dont order that. We had to wait for some time, about 10-15 minutes, even though the restaurant was not crowded. There were plenty of tables open but i guess they had to clean a certain table before they could seat us. The waitress who served us was very sweet and helpful. I would come back. Pretty good experience.

I was invited to come and eat for a special occasion since it seems that the business all over the U.S. is going down. Anyways, we got a feast for all of us and a few drinks. The food was actually pretty good, but the rice was a little undercooked, other than that. The shrimp, salmon, lobster, and sides were all good in taste and visual appeal. It's not something that we will go often, but it's still a good place to get some seafood in your diet every now and then.

My husband and I decided to enjoy a night out at Red Lobster the day before Valentine’s Day to avoid the Valentine’s Day rush. We arrived at 3:45 in the afternoon. We waited until a little after four to be seated. We noticed that the hostess was actually a server who was filling in for the hostess, taking phone calls and trying to manage everything in the front. There were several parties waiting to be seated. We finally got our table. We’re seated in the bar. After being seated, it took over 22 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us so when she did we gave her our appetizer & drink order and our food order all at once. It was at least another 20 minutes before we received our drinks/waters without the lemons we asked for. We finally received our cheddar Bay biscuits about 15 minutes after that. We ordered our food and we waited approximately 45 minutes the total experience took two hours from beginning to end. Total food order was about $125. We had one drink - a Mocktail, an appetizer - a flatbread, and two meals. The lobster was OK, I don’t recommend getting any flavoring on the crab legs too messy. I ordered them without, but they came with it covered in butter and garlic, so it was extremely messy to eat All you can eat shrimp that my husband ordered came cold the second batch because it had been sitting under the heat lamps so it wasn’t edible. Overall, the meal was decent. We just wish the service had been better. We finally got assigned a different server about mid meal, and from then on the experience was much improved. I don’t recommend sitting in the bar because I think they forget about you. Next time will insist on sitting in the dining room.

Had to wait 15 min for a table which is fine but then when we got our food I wasn’t impressed with my fish & chips. Just a small piece of rubbery fish. Could have been better for sure. For $18.99 I was hoping for something better. Won’t be doing that again.

Food was good. However soon after eating and we left I started vomitting and have stomach cramps. Service could have been a bit better.

Food it was delicious, but the wait was so much , and the service really bad . Place was full so we were in the waiting list for 2 hours , then after our phone notification just took us 5 min to rich the place again and another long wait for more than 1 hour. Our waitress just forgot us in the table and was around just talking with other people. Is unfair to give him a good tip when his service was really bad, we have to ask another waitress for water and for the check out. Really disappoint!

Had to wait over an hr. on a Tuesday 😲 I felt like I was forgotten about in the section I was in, which happened to be near the bar. Waitress was pleasant, but didn't show us (Husband) as much love as the others. He enjoyed the food, but I didn't 🤦🏿‍♀️ It was his birthday and why gripe about silly life situations when God allowed you a whole nother yr.!🤷🏿‍♀️🙌🏿 TBS..... but it's my post, and my food was bland and my birthday was 19 days before his....Thought I have a more birthday joy....IJS!!!!🙃 I believe in 2nd chances so we'll see in the future 🤗 ThankU Lord God just because your worthy!!!

The food was okay, Lobster was overcooked and rubbery. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good and the Fiesta Bowl was tasty. Our server Danielle was attentive and very nice, she requested and we will ask for her our next visit.

To be honest the food was hot but no flavor seasoning and my fish and chips fries was was over fried oil was dark because I have a food safe certificate I know as a mgr the presentation was good but by the door I saw numerous flies Pasta was bland and over cooked- HOT GARBAGE

I went for my daughter's 18th bday (she wanted to go) so I couldn't say no! I went into it with the lowest of low expectations, and I'll tell you what, I was pleasantly surprised! It was a Friday night, and the place was a ghost town compared to the last time i was there 20 years ago! The service was good. The food was great! It was eerie with the place being empty, but we had a great time!

The service was really good, our server told us he was new and he did really great! However, I was not impressed with the food. I got a combo plate with lobster, salmon, and a shrimp skewer. The lobster was kinda chewy and tough, and so was the shrimp. The salmon was ok but overcooked. Everything tasted a little off like it wasn't fresh. I would expect a place that serves mainly seafood would have a constant supply of fresh seafood but it sure didn't seem like it. The salmon I recently got from Costco and cooked at home was much fresher and tastier than this one. It's not that the food was awful, we actually really enjoyed the lobster dip appetizer, but the price we paid for the meal was really expensive for the quality that we got. I don't think I'll be coming back here.

My daughter was craving lobster tail, she ordered shrimp linguini Alfredo & a lobster tail, wife had the house salad, bacon mac and cheese. I ordered the bacon cheese burger. Wife and daughter said their food was good/OK. The cheese burger was bland, it was missing mayonnaise and pickles, but the bacon was tasty and properly cooked. Josh did a great job serving our table.

Man oh man, red lobster has really gone down hill over the years as a whole, but this location specifically is terrible. The place looks like it hasn't been updated or Cleaned since the 1980s. Bugs in the air flying around my food. Dirty booths, floors, bar counters, and walls. The food is the same as it always was, which is fine for what it is. The server was very nice. But the GM here needs to spend less money on fancy tabletop computer card readers and more on a cleaning crew and updates.

Valentine's Day is supposed to be a romantic day for most people. The biggest date night ever. Went to the Modesto Red lobster had a reservation at 5:30pm. Got there right on time but told it would be 1hr and half wait time still. We waited but never were called outside and the number they had for is was incorrect, they didn't even confirm our phone number. Went inside and they had cancelled our space but luckily we were able to still be seated. Sat and the server Laura was awesome very knowledgeable, we got drinks ordered appetizer and dinner. Got our drinks and biscuits but waited for almost a half hour for our mushroom appetizer. Finally got it and it was good then waited for our food. It was still over an hour and half and still no food. All the servers could say was they were really behind on orders. It was almost 9pm. Told the manager we wanted to cancel and pay for what we had, she comped our drinks and appetizer and we left. That was the worst Valentine's ever we ended up going to McDonald's and drove home which was another 45 min away. Worst wait time I have ever seen I don't know if I will go back and give them another shot. They need to hire new cooks.

The service was fantastic. The waitress, the cook and the random worker i talked to were all very awesome. However. The food is terrible. It was cooked decent. But lacked any flavor, portions seemed small and the type of food was overrated for the price. 10/10 customer service. But food. Terrible. 2/10.

Service was quick and friendly. My lunch companions soup was not hot, so she asked that it be heated up. It came back still barely warm, but with a very hot spoon. Everything was not up to the caliber one expects from Red Lobster. A real shame.

Food was not worth the price extremely small portions. They don't have substitutes for people with health conditions. The fish was greasey and gross. The waitress was so-so in helping.

we got food poisoning from the shrimp here and spent the last couple days throwing up. Full house at home & just us got sick after eating there so for sure was the food since we have barely been able to eat since that night. Food was good though and service was good.

Came for my birthday and told the server (the bartender since we sat in that section) that we were celebrating. They did not acknowledge it at all. I thought nothing of it until I heard happy birthday being sang to two separate tables during my visit with free dessert provided. Will not ever be coming back to Red Lobster for my birthday and will recommend against it to anyone else if anyone ever suggests it.

Ordered the snow crab legs dinner, they were very small legs of meat, some no meat don't order this Dish I complained but nothing was Done, my son ordered all you can eat shrimp, but the wait time was long to get more shrimp they only serve you two small plates at a time. Server not very friendly!

Went out we went out to eat on Sunday it was a disaster the management team decided since it was slow to send half the staff home so what do you think happened when dinner service started we had to wait up to 30 minutes to be seated the servers were very limited they had to work multiple areas it was a mess the food was horrible I ordered four cocktails just to endure the madness I will not be returning to Red lobster the remaining part of this year maybe next year I'll try again the waitress did her best she was very attentive got everything right as best as she could out from a scale of 1 to 10 I give her a 10 she did her best I spent $246 that evening plus tip this can never happen again the Management center you have the staff home that's just out of control that's like waiting in the line at the Dollar tree and you have one cashier but you got a line of 20 people in the line

Went out for birthday dinner with the whole family and it was the worst experience ever! Waited over 1.5 hrs for food Good came and the flavors were awful:/ We were all looking forward to wonderful delicious experience. Unfortunately this restaurant does not meet our expectations.
