The restaurant and hotel were delicious. Luigi and I spent a relaxing weekend in a well-organized environment. The dinner was excellent and the room was very bright and comfortable!

Edit to previous review: I've known the restaurant for years and go there regularly. It's improved over time, and now the atmosphere is very refined and welcoming, and the dishes are excellent and beautifully presented. The value for money is also good. Review from 7 months ago: A simple but elegant seaside restaurant, serving good seafood on a veranda overlooking the beach. The menu is quite varied, but always fairly consistent. It's fine for me, as I don't go there often. The staff is friendly.

Zena Mare was a pleasant surprise. I can definitely recommend it for quality of food and attention to customers. The service is great and it comes at the right price. We had an enjoyable experience and we will go back for sure in the near future.
I had dinner at Zena Mare with my girlfriend in late August 2020. We found the restaurant on TripAdvisor and booked a week in advance. The place is very welcoming, with well-spaced tables. Our table was next to the window, overlooking the beach (umbrellas and sea). We ordered the tasting menu of six appetizers (spectacular) and the amberjack tartare (equally spectacular). Two very good first courses and a 1/2 liter of house white wine (good). The only downside was the phone that never stopped ringing, but that doesn't detract from the super positive review. Excellent value for money (€30 per person with coffee). Highly recommended.

Great fish. Had a table by the window overlooking the sea, very nice. During the day they rent beach loungers and umbrellas for a reasonable price.

We've had dinner there several times and it's always been great. Baked fish with potatoes or Ligurian-style, always 👍👍👍, and the fried fish is no exception. The dessert selection is excellent. The price/quality ratio is definitely good.
Perfect atmosphere on the beach, looking at the sea. We chose this restaurant for a break on a business trip and were fascinated by its proximity to the sea ... it is basically on the beach! Minimal place, but with fabric tablecloths and napkins, designer water glasses and suitable glasses for wine. Since we were "at the sea" we chose a fish menu: mix of six starters (all very interesting ... and as a main course a fried seafood and a caponata di mare. Cheese cake and pineapple as sessert. All washed down with an excellent Vermentino "Colle di Luni" DOC of 2020; a wine from the Riviera di Levante. To finish the coffees. Average account. Satisfaction? Beyond expectations! A wonderful experience that I will do again ... I have memorized on the map the place between the most loved of the favorites ...

I came to this restaurant for lunch, tempted by the location and the reviews. The location is indeed beautiful: right on the beach! The place is bright and clean. The staff is polite and attentive. The problem was the food: I ordered fried fish. It arrived in a few minutes, but it wasn't nice and crispy (like I'm used to cooking it at home and eating it at a restaurant): it was all soggy. A real disappointment! Perhaps the flour batter they used wasn't prepared properly; perhaps it's customary here; I don't know. I do know that I struggled to eat it all.
A total disappointment. I'll add photos so you can comment. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!
