Oha Hawaiian BBQ

Delicious, inexpensive, and great portions. I swung by Oha for lunch yesterday and couldn’t have been happier. Finally somewhere in Marin that makes good Musubi!

Fish plate! Delicious and whole lot of food. Big fish pieces, rice, macaroni salad on a bed of cabbage for $14. White fish is fresh and perfectly fried with a light, airy crunch

Fantastic standard Hawaiian fare. The chicken katsu was fried to perfection - crispy breading on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. The chicken teriyaki was solid as well. The macaroni salad was solid. Everything here was well-prepared and priced reasonably. Service was helpful and kind. If you're hankering for some Hawaiian food in the North Bay, this is your place!

My husband and I got takeout at Oha for lunch after a long flight. We had never had Hawaiian BBQ before and this was a great first experience! I had the seafood combo plate and he had the beef and chicken plate. Both were delicious, the price was fair and the portions were great! The mac salad was incredible, I could have eaten a whole plate. We will be back the next time we are in San Fran - highly recommend!

Friendly staff, pretty quick service. Got the aloha plate with 2 protein - would rec the fried seafood. Big portions is a plus! Chicken was also good and saucy. Short rib was a bit chewy. The tables were not cleaned... hard to find seats even at 3pm off peak hours

My family loves Hawaiian food. We were so excited when this opened. This food was good portions and tasty. We had chicken teriyaki, fire chicken, and spam musubi. All fresh. Salad wasn’t great but never really is with Hawaiian. Meat was well prepared. Fire chicken was spicy with awesome kick. It will be a staple for the family dinners.

I was in town for 5 days and came back to eat here 2 days in a row, THAT GOOD. Bbq beef mini meal, crab ragoons and a bbq beef musubi pictured in the post. 100% will be back next trip

Came here right from the airport bc I heard great things about Hawaiian BBQ in Cali. It is a hole in the wall fast food place but we were not disappointed. Got chicken katsu that came with rice and salad that was all so yummy. The macaroni salad was also amazing has tuna in it. One of the top 3 meals I had while vacationing around the area. The best price for the amount of food you get too. Now I’m back home and looking for chicken katsu served like this 😍🥲 I’m obsessed. Also wanted to mention the cleanliness of the place, felt safe eating here.

This place is really good! It is very similar to Ono Hawaiian BBQ. The macaroni salad was very good, I had to buy more. The plate was well served.

Great fast casual teriyaki spot. Anyone from the PNW or Hawaii knows this style - on the sweeter side but balanced with other traditional flavors. You can get a full plate of chicken and rice for a very reasonable price. Great take out option.

I just love this place. Such a great value for big eaters like myself. Every dish I've ever had is delicious and prepared with care and consistency. Great flavors and big portions. The staff are dedicated hard workers that is so much appreciated. Very organized and detail oriented. Only suggestion is: Can you incorporate more veggies in Hawaiian tradition (if there is such a thing) that would compliment the existing menu? Just a thought. If it doesn't work out for you, that won't change my opinion of your establishment. Well done !!

What a surprise! Walked in, the place looked like another mediocre plaza restaurant. But then I tried the food and it was so good! Ordered mixed chicken plate with barbeque chicken and chicken katsu. Both were very flavorful, great texture / crunch. Will make an effort to eat here whenever I'm in Marin.

He tells me 'No restroom, but you can use the one at Target'. Are you freaking kidding me? A restaurant that offers dining indoors, but no restroom available is absolutely ridiculous. The portions of the food are very big, but the quality was really missing. The chicken katsu was overcooked, very dry and the oil used for frying tasted slightly old. The bbq chicken was unbelievably stringy, really poor quality meat. Would I eat here again? Definitely not

Food was okay, not the best Hawaiian bbq I’ve had not the worst either. I asked for an ice cup and they refused to give me a decent sized cup, I am on the road today and I think after spending 40$ on some mid Hawaiian bbq I should be accommodated on a decent sized ice cup so I can have ice water, the cups are made of paper after all. It annoyed me enough to write this review, tragically.
