Great hotel in the middle of town near restaurants. They also do a evening meal, we did not eat any. The breakfasts are very good with a scramble egg option. Monica is really very helpful and the staff are always friendly. There is a ski locker in an outside shed. (Just remember to switch on the boot warmer, switch on the top of the locker which I only found after 2 days. ;-) ) The room was very nice and neat& clean.

Great situated hotel. Had 2 rooms over our stay. 1st room great, 2nd room had a weird bathroom layout and not to our like at all. Service excellent. All staff very friendly and extremely helpful. No lift.

Hotel is centrally located approximately a 5 minute uphill wall to the chairlift. Hotel was modern and clean, room was spacious and had a nice balcony. Had a small issue with hot water at times. The main negative of this Hotel was how the restaurant is managed if you book half board. You will only be allowed to wither have a appetiser and main or appetiser and starter. Despite the cost in the appetiser and starters being the same the Hotel were super strict and were not understanding if you didn't like any choice on the appetiser list. On the last evening we addressed this with the English manager who came across very condescending and felt like it was a big deal to ask the chef to give us some pasta instead of the appetisers that we didn't like. I think she needs training on understanding the importance of guests to the business. The most popular items also seem to run out like the rib eye so unless you have an early dinner they might tell you it's not available. My suggestion is do not book half board and if you want to eat at the hotel see the menu first.

Nice staff but the rooms could be better for the price point. It is small and can be cleaned better. No coffee, minibar etc. The music from the hotel across the street is so loud that you can hear it with windows closed. Breakfast was decent though.

the location is at centre , rooms are very nice in size, beds are comfy and nice sized bathroom but hard pillows so make some noise about that. we stayed in 001 and 003 on ground floor. the issue was that room 003 was freezing and room 001 was like a sauna. You can’t control the heating from your room and despite complaining numerous times there was no change. literally slept with the windows open! the other issue with the hotel is there is no communal area. theres a restaurant but only for dinner so no where for a coffee and chill when you come down from mountain. they have loads of seating outside which would have been fine but no outdoor heating. one fire pit which is nowhere near where you are sitting. there’s also a bar but again small and pokey. looking at reviews we were lucky to stay here rather than be shipped to a sister hotel.

Good reviews and nice photos convinced me to book the hotel. At check-in I was told that my room is in the annex and brought to a residential building round the corner. The room was very basic and had a number of issues with it (more on this later). In the morning I checked the building out on Google maps and it came up as Hotel St George with a rating of 3.7, compared to 4.5 for Hotel K2. When I complained, the receptionist was very defiant (clearly she had that conversation many times before) and pointed out that my booking mentions that the room is in an annex 50 meters from the hotel, and that the room category was showing accurate pictures of the room. At no point did she express any sympathy towards my disappointment or offered any token of compensation. She did however say that I had received an upgrade to a triple room, not that me and my husband needed an extra bed. She also implied the room was cheap (at over 220 euros per night!) and the rooms in the main building were much more expensive. Such a dishonest way to do business, relying on the customer to read the small print or be sorely disappointed. Other issues we faced were: - dirty wine glasses left in the room before we checked in - tiled floor in the room was extremely cold, unless you had slippers on it was unsuitable to walk on - the walls were paper thin, we could hear people in the lavatory in another room as if they were next to us - we were only given one room key; when I forgot to give the key to my husband and he needed to get in, it took ages for the housekeeping to let him in, and then they wouldn't let him keep the key, so he had to leave the door unlocked when going out again - room service barged into our room using their key at 8 in the morning on the last day after only knocking once, despite the Do not disturb sign on the door. Judging by the other reviews, the rooms in the main building are fine, but I don't plan to find out for myself.

I accidentally booked my reservation for the wrong date. Within an hour of booking, I contacted the hotel to explain my mistake and request a refund. Unfortunately, their response was : “sorry, that is the policy” Therefore, now I have to say that : “sorry that is my review”

The same experience occurred to us. Booked according to ratings and moved to the “annex” 220 euros a night and not worth it!
