During our short stay in this coastal town, we asked some locals where we could get traditional pasta in a non-touristy place, where the locals go. The answer was, "Go to Vecchia Stazione." We made a reservation by phone since the place fills up every day for lunch. They have a set menu, or "menu fixo," for 12 euros, which includes a starter, main course, wine, or water, plus coffee. The truth is that everything we ordered was delicious, and we added a traditional local dish to share, Farinata, for an additional 6 euros. The owner is very friendly and speaks English. Absolutely fantastic! The pizza and farinata are amazing. The homemade desserts are delicious! The prices are more than fair! What can I say, you've lifted our hearts ❤️ Congratulations!!!! Update: We once again confirm the deliciousness of this welcoming place. We've been going there two or three times a month and have also tried the classic menu, and they're outstanding, as always. Everything is excellent and always fair in prices. ❤️

Pizzeria, trattoria, con farinata. La pizza è gradevole , molto sottile, buona e ben cotta ( ho assaggiatonla marinara) la farinata, sia di ceci che di grano, è ben amalgamata e cotta al punto giusto, sia quella semplice che le versioni condite ( cipolla, o gorgonzola o rosmarino) che abbiamo ordinato. Il servizio ai tavoli e veloce, le signore addette sono gentili e simpatiche. Il locale è arredato in maniera molto basica, un po troppo pieno di ammennicoli e stampe alle pareti, (ci sono perfino due mazze da okey su ghiaccio) ci vorrebbe una rinfrescata generale, magari aggiungendo degli insonorizzatori, per abbattere l'eco ed il notevole rumore di fondo provocato dalle chiacchiere dei commensali , che costringe ad urlare per parlarsi. Questo problema riguarda però la maggioranza dei locali, quindi sopportiamo. In conclusione bella serata , cibo apprezzabile , buone le birre, locale ottimo per raduni di squadra o famigliari con figli. Consigliato.

A simple but very pleasant place. Packed with locals for lunch, the fixed price is €12, including coffee and a soft drink. Authentic, simple food. I recommend booking. There's also a wide variety of truly excellent pizzas. And for those who prefer, the à la carte menu features many seafood dishes. Fast service and friendly staff.

Not exactly near the current station, but still within walking distance, this is an old-fashioned trattoria serving simple yet well-prepared and timeless dishes. Among the perpetually packed tables, especially at lunchtime, and even communal ones, you'll sample excellent chickpea farinata (a generous portion) that's neither too greasy nor too dry, as well as linguine allo scoglio (seafood linguine), grilled braciole (braciole al grill), Ligurian-style swordfish, and homemade desserts: everything is home-style, or almost, like the service and atmosphere. Reservations are always recommended: lunch is open until 3 pm for a fixed price of €12.

Two colleagues and I chose this trattoria for dinner. It's a simple, charming place with vintage photos on the walls. The service was very friendly and prompt. The farinata was excellent, following the recommendation. We tried three different types, both chickpea and wheat. I have to say it was excellent. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the average prices in Savona. I'll probably return to try more.

I had dinner here with some friends. The food was very good, but the wait was too long. We ordered farinata (very good), but it arrived too late. Since they were late with the dishes, we didn't eat together.

Didn't get to try the farinata. The waitress claimed (somewhat untruthfully) that there was a 20 minute wait for it so we ordered something else. The food was decidedly mediocre, as was the service.

We've eaten at this restaurant several times over the past few years. The food is good, especially the farinata. Unfortunately, the last time, the service was terrible. There were two of us at lunchtime. The restaurant was packed. After a bit of a wait, they gave us a table in the center of the restaurant. And there, they forgot about us. We waited three or four hours for a menu (a dirty piece of paper) and were very rudely informed that for lunch they only serve pizza, farinata, or the specials of the day. We couldn't even order a drink. Meanwhile, several customers around us who had arrived much later were being served. So we decided to leave. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant.

Me ne avevano parlato bene, ma evidentemente le cose sono cambiate .. ci hanno messo in una tavolo, incastrati fra gli altri tavoli, che se dovevi anche solo andare in bagno dovevo fare alzare almeno 3 persone...il servizio è approssimativo e anche poco garbato, hanno preso ordinativi da tavoli arrivati dopo di noi, siamo arrivati presto ed erano presenti solo 3 tavoli da 3/4 persone, nonostante questo ci hanno servito dopo più di un'ora ..farinata e pizza passabile, niente di che, volevamo assaggiarne ancora magari condita ma ci viene detto che non prendono più ordinazioni x la farinata, solo pizza x i troppi tempi di attesa...strano, viene cotta nello stesso forno delle pizze...quando usciamo dopo 2 ore, vediamo tavoli arrivati dopo di noi che mangiano farinata...concludiamo con il conto...dopo questa bella figura manco i 50 centesimi del conto hanno tolto. Mai più, lo sconsiglio vivamente
