Best spot in town for Tacos El Pastor… the atmosphere is fantastic late at night and the prices can’t be beat. A go-to spot pretty much every night after spending the day on the beach.

Amazing tacos. Better than Talivan around the corner. Al pastor, carne asada, chuleta, and chorizo were fantastic but the al pastor was the clear winner. Beware, the salsas are legit...really tasty and picante. Horchata was also really good and helped those that dipped a little too deep into the spicy salsas. Really worth the try and I'm really surprised that it doesn't have more reviews.

Wow! What a find. As the night goes on this place gets busier and busier. Tacos Al Pastor is their specialty and I’d recommend you go with that. Everything is hot and fresh and the service is super friendly. Find an employee with a notepad to order and when you are done they will have your bill at the register. Lots of stand up seating. First time we had 4 tacos and 2 beers for $9! I do recommend that you not get a quesadilla It’s not what most would call a quesadilla it’s an open face corn tortilla with a layer of cheese. They have 4 salsas, pickled onions, radishes and limes to dress things up. If you don’t like onions or cilantro order it con nada otherwise con todo.

It annoys me that I didn't add this spot to Google Maps first, because it's hands down my favorite al pastor on the Pacific coast. The tacos are fast, they're cheap, the salsas and sauces are flavorful and spicy, there's always fresh limes, cucumbre, radishes, and beer is cold. This is a no-nonsense taco spot, although they do a great torta too. But don't expect too much flowery hand holding and conversation from the staff; they are efficient and pushing out food and tables is the focus. Al pastor is king. Watching the chef at work is mesmerizing. We eat about 3-4 each, twice a night (before dinner and after drinking). Open until past 2am many nights, it legit does get better the longer the pork is cooking. Best part, out of the 50+ times we have been, I've never had a single stomach ache or hair in my food or anything.

Fabulous bite after lunch! Pastor smelled so good passing by had to stop for a couple. Hottest sauce and guac sauce perfect blend of flavors!

Throwing my opinion in the heated debate - Diaz has great al pastor but it wasn’t as good as Tal Ivan across the street/down the road! The long wait time may have been why, so we gave it a second try a different night and hold the same opinion. Regardless, still delicious & you can’t go wrong with either!

I had wondered what a "Pastor" taco is. Now that I know, don't miss it. It's like shawarma, but Mexican style and smaller. We sat down and a couple who were living in Sayulita from California told us it was the best from their sampling, and they were right. It's hours are kinda whenever, or maybe there is a schedule, but we were there at the right time.

I ate at Tacos al Pastor Diaz, and honestly — the food delivers. The tacos are really good, flavourful, satisfying, exactly what you want when you’re craving al pastor in Sayulita. That said, the place is very popular, and you can feel it. The waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed at times, which occasionally shows in the service. Nothing rude or dramatic — just the natural side effect of a spot that’s constantly busy and trying to keep up with demand. Overall, I’d still absolutely recommend it for the food alone. Just go in knowing it’s more about great tacos than a slow, attentive dining experience. Eat, enjoy, move on happy 🌮

Deliciosos, 3 de 7 dias cenamos aquí. Los tacos al pastor y la opción vegetariana son buenisimas. Las salsas son ricas y tienen piña con habanero, limones, le agregan cebolla y cilantro a los tacos. Doble tortilla. Definitivamente una parada sugerida.

Honestamente muy buenos tacos soy de CDMX y la verdad muy cumplidores quizá uno poco más de sazón al pero la verdad muy bien, llegamos sin esperar nada y quedamos sorprendidos sin duda cuando regrese es parada obligatoria. De los mejores tacos en sayulita sin duda, aunque yo que soy de la Ciudad de México, considero que no saben al pastor! Sin embargo el adobo que utilizan sabe bastante bien y los tacos son buenos, frescos y de calidad, tienen bastantes salsas y el servicio es impecable, puedes comer Parado en la Parte de abajo o tomar una mesa en el segundo nivel, además hay días donde tienen drinks 2x1. Probé la torta de pastor que me pareció excelente pero yo le pondría menos ajo y mantequilla, el alambre fue lo que más me Gustó, y los tacos al pastor es lo que más pide la gente. Si estás por sayulita date una vuelta, vale la pena. Cierran súper tarde, así que siempre son opción.

Arrachera tacos were delicious, Al pastor was also very good. The chorizo was just okay. I really can’t tell between this vendor and the other a few spots down (Al pastor Tal Ivan) which is better. They’re both pretty similar. The only thing is the toppings here are slightly different, they only had a tiny bit of cilantro and onions in the tacos. But unlimited pickled onions, which I love too. The price can’t be beat I believe they were slightly cheaper than Al pastor Tal Ivan

Fast and delicious and so affordable. The Al pastor tacos are very very good, but I also really liked the arrachera (skirt steak). There is additional seating just around the corner in back - great place to get away from the night time madness. Green salsa is mild and tasty... The orange is SPICY on the front end.

Bomb al pastor tacos for 20 pesos each. Casual outdoor seating with tables and chairs on the road as well as a couple metal standing tables. Especially great when you’re super hungry. We kept coming back for more and I’m sure the staff thought we were crazy. But they were all nice and I loved that they fed a dog some al pastor scraps.

I would say one of the best tacos in Sayulita. The price are quite cheap and the quality of taco with salsa bar are pretty good and the server was very polite and explained how to order in English. Tacos al pastor $20 un poco secos Arrachera $25, no bien servidos. En general me parecio caro para lo que es, servicio con mal genio de la mesera también. Y el lugar pues tampoco es bonito , los baños están lejos y sucios.

Llegué aquí después de haber comido en dos taquerias de la zona. Me gustó más la taquería que tenía más variedad y tenía tacos de tripa ya que aquí solo venden de pastor. Los tacos son promedio pero están bien.

My stomach feel in love with these tacos June 2024. Revisted these tacos June 2025 and something was off. Not the same delicious tacos/items I remembered. Not full of sazón like the year before. I was bummed as these were my favorite tacos.

Pésimo servicio, poco espacio, una mesera súper grosera, supongo por que éramos turistas Nacionales, a los extranjeros los atendía hasta con sonrisas. Lugar 100% DISCRIMINATORIO no acudan ahí.

Son caros para el tamaño (pequeño), el lugar super equis, las sillas que tienen (de metal) no tienen respaldo (de 4 sillas solo 1 tenía respaldo, pq no arreglarlas, muy incómodas) y eso si te toca mesa pq sino comes de pie (pero igual pagas como si fuera un buen restaurante y como si comieras sentado) baño horrible (ni un espejo pueden poner y huele mal) la tortilla es más blanca que amarilla (como si tuviera más cal que maíz y de hecho ni sabe a maíz), las salsas ni pican, sobre valorados la verdad, no tienen mal sabor pero por el precio coman en un restaurante mas lindo y se toman unas fotos más lindas o yo q se

The food tasted bad, and the staff was hostile and mocking throughout the entire visit. To make things worse, they refused to accept valid legal tender (a Mexican $100 peso banknote) and charge illegal fees for card payments. This place shows unprofessional behavior, lack of hygiene, and abusive business practices. Strongly advise against eating here. ///// Pésima experiencia de principio a fin. Al inicio pedí algo de comer y, debido a que ningún empleado utilizaba cofia ni medidas básicas de higiene, me encontré cabellos dentro de mi taco. Cuando pedí que me lo cambiaran, el personal de la plancha y la cajera se rieron, lo cual fue completamente inapropiado. El taco estaba malo y, además, al pedir que le agregaran piña al taco al pastor (ingrediente que por definición debe llevar), me señalaron de mala gana una mesa lejana diciendo “allá está”, en un tono grosero y nefasto, en lugar de atender correctamente al cliente. Al momento de pedir la cuenta, se negaron a aceptar un billete de $100 pesos mexicano totalmente válido, solo porque se encuentra en proceso de retiro. Un billete de $100 sigue teniendo valor legal. Para colmo, el establecimiento cobra comisión por pagar con tarjeta, lo cual es ilegal. Cuando pedí que me devolvieran el billete para pagar con otro y no perder más tiempo, la cajera se burló de mí junto con otra empleada frente a mí. En general, durante toda la visita, el personal mantuvo una actitud burlona, hostil y poco profesional. Este lugar demuestra falta total de higiene, educación, capacitación y conocimiento de la ley, además de incurrir en prácticas abusivas hacia el consumidor. No lo recomiendo bajo ninguna circunstancia.

Soy local, fui a este lugar a cenar hace un par de días , llegué y el lugar estaba prácticamente vacío solo tenían una mesa ocupada. Me senté , los meseros estaban parados a lado del trompo, me vieron llegar y nisiquiera se acercaron a darme un menú, no recibí un saludo ni una sonrisa por parte de nadie del personal. Estuve sentada varios minutos sin que nadie me hiciera caso, llegó una pareja gringa e inmediatamente se acercó uno de los meseros a ofrecerles una mesa y darles menús. Todavía volteó a verme y de mala gana me dijo “ahorita voy contigo”, me dio mucho coraje, preferí irme a cenar a otro lugar. Se me hace muy mala onda que discriminen de esta manera a los mexicanos y a los locales siendo que somos nosotros los que mantenemos los negocios en pie todo el año. Honestamente ni ganas me quedaron de volver a pisar este lugar, eran mis tacos preferidos de Sayulita pero me quedo con muy mal sabor de boca, no regresaré. TACOS DÍAZ DISCRIMINA AL TURISMO MEXICANO Y A LOS LOCALES, no recomiendo.

No soy un experto crítico gastronomico, pero soy mexicano y he comido tacos toda mi vida, por lo que puedo asegurar que sus tacos no son malos pero tampoco son extraordinarios, y sus salsas tampoco se llevan los aplausos, y no logré entender por qué tienen tan buenas reseñas aquí, sobre todo por el pésimo servicio que ofrecen. En mi caso particular me quedé observando como las personas que llegaron después de mi les llevaban sus tacos y los míos no llegaban, hasta que un mesero distinto al que me tomó la orden se dió cuenta de eso y me indicó que ya estaban por salir los míos, pero jamás hubo una disculpa por lo sucedido. La cuenta tampoco fue clara, ya que no desglosan el precio de cada producto y la verdad, me parecieron bastante caros para la calidad y el tamaño de sus tacos, ya que me cobraron $300 por 5 tacos y un agua.
