When you visit a Bill Miller BBQ you pretty much know what to expect - they are pretty well consistent across the board at all the locations. What we enjoy about this location (and it is the one we frequently hit the most) is the ease of the off and on from 35. The staff is usually quite friendly, the place is normally clean (I'm simply not a fan of all the "dirty" orange chair look and the other seemingly outdated (possibly meant to be nostalgic) look of the entire place overall. I'm a fan of the fried chicken and have yet to find their BBQ to be worth it... I've simply had so much better (the wife calls me a BBQ snob), but the other half does like their brisket (I simply have no idea why) and some of their sides. The rolls that some rave about remind me of the rolls at the church covered dish lunches from my childhood (straight from the bread aisle at the grocery store... nothing special about them). To each their own...

I am usually always happy with this location but today was not a good day. After ordering my food we had to bus our own table to sit. There were 12 uncleaned tables. The young man cleaning was very unmotivated or untrained. Wondering if the manager was out?

Every time you go here you get your order wrong or things are not in your order order. No plastic wares for to go or drive thru. Rude staff and seems always annoyed at customers. I asked if they have the 2 slices of pie in my bag and the guy answered me yes they are together. Of course I will ask them to have it on separate plate especially they should know if someone has nut allergy. But the guy checked it, separated the plates then handed it to me with an attitude. Seriously!!!!

This location has gotten progressively worse over time, at least the drive thru has. They've messed up my order 3 times in the past several weeks. Apparently even if they ask if you want whipped cream on your pie and you tell them yes, you still don't get it. I got my chopped sandwiches with no onions or pickles. And my favorite, coconut pie with hair in it. And when I called to get a refund or replacement, they hung up on me. I guess I'll be going to the one on Pat Booker instead.

I went and made a big order of 2 orders of strip meals drinks then ordered an order of 2 breast 2 legs and was given 3 legs and a thigh. My pie was not there that I ordered along with one brownie when I ordered a portion with drinks and a brisket taco that I did not receive. Never had a problem but today was the worst. If I wanted this kind of bad service I would’ve ordered in San Antonio. I recently moved close by and keep getting bad service. Atleast be honest on what u have on hand so I can go elsewhere when it’s early in the night.

Guess I'll be going to a different location from now on, also the parking lot is a mess they need to place a sign somewhere showing one way only before someone gets in a wreck. I did go to another location for chicken strips and that location still has full size chicken tenders, definitely avoid this location as they don't care about the customers 11/12/25 This was my favorite spot but it seems they are down sizing on the food. Ordered a #4 chicken strip combo and the chicken strips are very small and thin now like chicken fingers, also over cooked. I'll give this spot another chance but I fear inflation is making them cut back on sizing and portions of food and it's still the same price which is unfortunate 😪* fry for size comparison

Usually Bill Miller is great; however, I’ve had issues the few times I’ve come to this specific location. Not sure if they have the same quality control checks as others or inventory ordering issues. The breakfast tacos I’ve gotten here are dry, not portioned correctly, and for some reason the eggs always look old or as if they’ve been sitting out although you always have to wait in line 10+ mins and they went up on prices in the last few months. Today I got a salad and it’s nothing but tomato, cheese, and lettuce with my chicken also half full for over $10? Come on. Wish I would have checked before driving all the way home.

I was waiting in line for breakfast today. Kept looking up and down since I was sending an email. The girl that was taking orders completely passed my car. I tried to get her attention but continue to take two other cars behind me there orders. She totally disregard me and as more cars came she continue to take their orders. I just got out of line and decide to go somewhere else where I don’t get this type of bad customer service! This girl is literally took 5 cars order. The service with this company has gone down.

I have been going to Bill Miller's for over 40 years. Use to visit 3 times a week. That has changed. We went to the Schertz location to get a 10-piece family meal of chicken. They tell us its all dark meat (now Bill Miller is Church's Chicken). we tell the guy we want mix, and he charges us to make it mixed. We get home, and we have 9 pieces of darl meat and 1 wing. I guess thats their idea of mixed. I paid almost 30 dollars for something that was on special for all dark. I don't know what happened to Bill Miller's? I would tell everyone to go there now i dont go there because the prices have been double in the past 4 years and the food quality and size is down. Bill Miller was always my favorite but times change I guess. Im not paying almost 30 bucks for 10 small dark pieces of chicken. I will go to Bush's or Popeyes. I will pay about the same but get big pieces of white meat chicken.

I really wish I could give this discarded of a restaurant negative stars. The servers didn’t give the right foods that we asked for and we dined in! The cashier also kept trying to charge us for the wrong combos on all 5 meals!! The kitchen was beyond disgusting and I wish we saw it before we started to eat. The cashier was rinsing her nasty brown liquid cleaning cup in the hand station!!! BIG STATE VIOLATION!! The brisket was close to jerky on the trim, fat wasn’t chewable and the inner sections of the brisket was green! It had a gross lizard scale like translucent nastiness! I’m so serious, this food was so foul! The pintos tasted like they had a gallon of salt and that’s it. The coleslaw was just veggies, pepper and vinegar! Putrid. Then the bbq sauce, yuck. It’s just ketchup, sugar, garlic, onion and pepper. It was a fancy bootleg ketchup at best! There was absolutely zero smoke in the meat! Even the sweet tea was just a glorified brown sweet water. The brownies tasted worse than store bought cheap brands. The potato salad was nearly a soup too and was 100% the exact kind from Walmart.

First of all, they need to take the Bar- B- Que, out of their name, and just call themselves Bill Miller. This Bill Miller's on 3009 is horrible, if I had a rubber leg I'll keep my own self in the tail, because I keep telling myself to stop going there. So each time I go there and it's not often because of the service, and cold food they often serve, especially going through the drive thru, which I did. I order a two piece Chicken, with fries, and specifically ask for fresh chicken and fries because of past experiences. I get to window and was handed cold chicken and fries that was probably sitting there since the lunch rush, and this was about 2:15 pm when I was there. So I went in and ask for a refund, and was granted my refund, and left them with a message, that I will not come there again.

Terrible experience last night. I don’t know what was going on when the girl started taking my order and half way disappeared for 2 min, came back to ignore me again. Get to the window and she still didn’t hear me and what I ordered. Manager standing right there didn’t care what they gave us. Tortillas weren’t even cooked, definitely didn’t slice a single piece of brisket for our tacos, and the girl kept pressuring ranch dressing for the strips instead of just giving me the order exactly the way it’s supposed to come with gravy. But it was completely obvious they didn’t want to make gravy or make a proper taco. I wont be back for a very long time. The quality and service is below par. I’ll be sure to check in with the manager for an update on why this happened.

This place is chaotic. Plenty of employees yet order wait time is close to 10 min. The lady managers in the AM are rude and unwelcoming. Every item on the menu costs more, yet food quality continues deteriorating and serving portions keep getting smaller & smaller. My bean and cheese tacos were poorly made and a piece of the tortilla was missing.
