Wow spectacular!! From the service, to the food to the ambience just wow! We had the scallops and the filet and they were superb! As owners of a bar we can sometimes be tough on cocktails but these were exceptional! Highly recommend this place:) can’t wait to go back!!!
Wow! We wanted to try the House Brasserie in Scottsdale and it did not disappoint! Upon arrival, Joe, the owner greeted us and had our table reserved in front of the fireplace on the patio as requested. It was a birthday dinner for my wife and let me tell you the staff made it very special. We were seated immediately and from then on the service was spot on. Our server, Katie was amazing, she had great suggestions on wine and made sure our evening was simply perfect. Our appetizer and dinner were served promptly and timed well, the drinks were spot on, the atmosphere was amazing and to top it off they helped us celebrate with a very nice dessert. All in all this was one of the best dinner experiences we have ever had. A big thank you to Joe, Katie, Tommy and the rest of the staff for making our evening perfect!
Great spot in Scottsdale for an amazing meal. Highly recommend the ribeye. The crab cakes were some of the worst I’ve ever had but the waitress was amazing and understood. I would skip out on the steak tartar for the Brussels sprouts!
Absolutely lovely experience! Great service, great atmosphere, drinks were soo good and our appetizers were 10/10 ! Couldn’t recommend this place more ! If you’re thinking of going just go !
We came here as tourists to celebrate a birthday and were so happy we chose this place. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, perfect for a special evening. The outdoor seating with string lights felt magical. The food was excellent — the steak was juicy and flavorful, and the short rib just melted in the mouth. The charcuterie board was also a great start, with fresh and tasty selections. Cocktails were well-balanced and beautifully served. The service really stood out. Our server was kind, attentive, and always seemed to be there at the right time without interrupting. We also appreciated that the right utensils came with each course, a small thing that made a big difference. We picked this restaurant based on reviews, and it definitely lived up to them. Highly recommend if you’re in town and looking for a great dinner experience
Reservations made over phone. We had dinner and it was delicious. We enjoyed the cheese board, wine, sea bass, filet mignon, and prime rib. Nice pace of service. Very attentive servers. Worth the price and time. Parking was hard to find on a Saturday night.
The House Brasserie is perfection. 🙂 Update: We went back for delicious dinner #2 and it was absolutely wonderful again! The service, food, and atmosphere is outstanding. Well done!
Very nice restaurant with a particular atmosphere. We had a dinner in the outdoor patio close to the fireplace and it was really great. The dishes are fine and indeed, as advertised, with a French influence. Dishes are well presented and designed and really good. Highly recommended.
BEAUTIFUL BRASSERIE This Old Town Scottsdale spot is delivering a fantastic product in a polished manor. The interior is smart casual and has that sorta French feeling without the signature snootiness. The service was spot on and it was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Portions are HUGE here. The pork belly appetizer plus a salad is like a whole big meal just by itself. Hub ordered the ribeye and I ordered the Chilean sea bass. My fish was PERFECTLY flaky and moist with a great flavor profile. I did not care for the bordelaise sauce on hub’s steak and am glad I hadn’t ordered it. The gift from the kitchen was a nice touch. We were so full we skipped dessert.
My friend and I stopped in for a nightcap on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambiance and excellent service. Our bartender, Chad, was absolutely wonderful—he crafted a couple of delicious drinks for us and truly made our night. His generosity and hospitality did not go unnoticed! We will definitely be back!
This place is so cute and quaint. My son took me and surprised me for my 47th birthday. I had a wonderful time. The service was amazing, my cocktail was delicious. The dinner was fabulous. I am so excited to go back.
Amazing place! Visit from out of town and the atmosphere was great, the owner (I'm assuming) was the server and was very informative and great! Loved the food! Will return when back in town.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner experience at this restaurant. We got to sit on the lovely patio outside and I enjoyed the atmosphere. We started off with 2 cocktails, the green lantern and clear conscience - both were strong and tasty. We had the crab cake and arugula salad to start. Then we had the salmon and cauliflower steak for our main. All the menu items we tried were delicious, but the cauliflower meal was a bit too "hearty" for my taste. It was my husband's birthday and they gave us 2 glasses of champagne and a delightful biscuit with cream and berries dessert. Overall I would reccomend this restaurant to others.
Came here for Valentine’s Day visiting from out of town and had a wonderful experience and delicious food. Everyone cleared their plates ! Waiter was attentive, helpful and fun! Three of us had the filet mignon , one ora king salmon and a ribeye . Dessert was the beignets with this delicious smoked Carmel whipped cream soooo good and the chocolate mousse. Also the espresso shots were great ! We had a wonderful meal and experience! We will definitely come again when we come back to town ❤️
Our server Cameron went above and beyond. We celebrated our anniversary here and they made the experience incredibly special. We highly recommend the Filet mignon, best in Arizona.
Wow! Our food was amazing. Started with the whipped feta. It just kept getting better. The cauliflower did not disappoint. Order it NOW!! Sooo GOOD!! Crab cakes are all crab!! ❤️ Don’t forget dessert! Key Lime Cheesecake 🤤🤤🤤This place is a hidden gem. I give it a 10! Service is phenomenal.
Amazing food and service. Such a fun vibe. We got to sit right by the fire outside and loved it. They brought over some extra flower for my wife and an extra sample of a bread puff too. Those little details were everywhere. Food tasted amazing. Steak was superb. Brussel sprouts and potatoes were the best I’d had. The whipped feta was an instant crowd pleaser. Thank you for an amazing evening!
House Brasserie is a hard to find old home turned into a restaurant. We enjoy learning the history of the home and their maitre d provided it. We started with the crab cakes-2 excellent ones. The Mary's Chicken breast was outstanding and the Filet Mignon was perfectly seasoned and cooked. They have a great selection of cabernet and chardonnay wines. It is walking distance from the Hotel Valley Ho. It is a great venue where we have stayed. Parking is a challenge so Waymo, Uber or Lyft are suggested. Other great homes turned into restaurants in the Valley: Feeney's on 12 Street and Casey Moores in Tempe.
Great service and very nice ambiance. My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary and sat outside. It’s a very cute date spot but the food wasn’t as good as I was hoping for. We had several appetizers and were disappointed with a few. The crudo was delicious! But the crab cake was mushy and the escargot, while served nicely, was not as good as we’ve had elsewhere. The olive cake was good but nothing that memorable. Our main courses were both good. Probably not good enough to bring us back. But still enjoyable. Best part was our friendly server Cameron. Overall, it was a 6 out of 10 experience.
Weird experience, to say the least. We stopped in for a drink and an app while we waited for a table at Pizzeria Virtu. They were full at the moment, but we had no with issue sitting at the bar height counter facing out the window. Shortly thereafter, we were kindly offered "better" seating accommodations by two different staff members which we declined since we were enjoying both our time and the view outside. We ordered a couple of drinks and the cheese board which featured (as per their menu) Artisan Cheeses, Pickled Vegetables, Stone Ground Mustard, Compound Butter, Sliced Speck and Rustic Bread. Upon being served the board, there were five OVERSIZED chunks of cheese on it, without explanation. One was a soft goat cheese crusted in blueberries, and two additional hard goat cheeses, each split in half. This initially made it appear to be five different types of cheese, while it was really only three. -However, it was a LOT of cheese (about 4oz each) but not a lot of variety, and a very strange/clunky presentation as well. There was no compound butter, no pickled vegetables and no speck as mentioned on the menu. Just these really large hunks of hard cheese and minor accompaniments, without any sort of cheese knives, which is very strange for a restaurant of this caliber. Upon inquiring with the manager, I asked if this was the standard representation of their cheese board (because quite frankly, the presentation was not appealing and I was going to ask him to take it away.) He just ran off and said he would have the chef prepare "something special" for us. A few minutes later we were presented with the "missing" speck and... MORE of the same cheese that we had been served on the board. -It was like "death by goat cheese". The food runner dropped it off saying "compliments of the chef" and after he left, I just laughed and said to my friend "This just MORE of the SAME CRAP." -Because they did, in fact, bring us three more chunks of the same cheese. At this point I thought it was funny, however the manager overheard me and angrily confronted me saying "well we don't want you to have to contend with MORE OF the SAME CRAP" and hastily told us he would be removing it from our bill. It was a bit comical and I was laughing, but before I could apologize for being so harsh, he stormed off. Like, if we didn't want 12 ounces of goat cheese, we definitely don't want 16 ounces of the same cheeses. Shortly thereafter we were presented with some burrata and another type or so, however we were so lost and confused by then. We weren't expecting even MORE CHEESE at that point. My thought is that there was a communication error to and from the kitchen. The manager was so offended upon overhearing me, that didn't even stop to check to see what we had been served to warrant my criticism. He must have been of the impression we had received the "upgraded" presentation and we were scoffing at his efforts. However, he stormed off despite my attempts to explain, and by then, we were already over it and had mentally moved on from the situation. That being said, the atmosphere was super cozy and the servers were very polite and enjoyable. I hope the manager provides them with the benefit of the doubt in high stress or challenging situations. *cheers* 🥂
