Nobu Scottsdale

We went to Nobu for our first wedding anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. Lovely service and great atmosphere! I probably wouldn't order the chicken dish again because it was a little dry, but the sushi was very yummy!

We did the Chefs selection and it did not disappoint. Definitely one of the top restaurants I've been! The server was slow checking in on us. Highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. The black miso cod (not pictured) was amazing. Creamy rock shrimp was great.

This past week, I visited Nobu for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Our party of 14 was comfortably seated in a private area, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening. Our server, Rivers, was truly exceptional. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and delivered far beyond what we imagined. His recommendation to go with a family-style menu was spot-on. He and the chef curated a stunning selection of dishes—each one more impressive and delicious than the last. I’ve always enjoyed sushi, but that night made me fall completely in love with it. Beyond the food, the entire staff was warm, respectful, and attentive, showcasing the highest level of service. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nobu Scottsdale to friends and family. It’s a place I’ll definitely be returning to often

Went with my family and had a great experience. Our waiter was phenomenal; very knowledgeable and engaged with us. Presented the menu to us and gave great tips on some of his favorite dishes on the menu and what is good. My family is not big raw fans, so our favorite dish was by far the Black Cod, followed by the Teriyaki Chicken. Dishes are served family styled, and every time a dish came out the server presented the dish very well.

Top notch! All of our food choices were delicious, and we finished every bite. We had two beautiful cocktails, a mushroom salad, various sushi items, and the Chilean sea bass. Our sushi chef was attentive and made suggestions we loved! Thank you, James! We'd definitely go again for a special occasion since this is a more expensive night out for us. Although, we'd love to go more often! Well worth it!!

Still and always our favorite spot in Scottsdale for people watching and fresh seafood! 😎 Prompt and professional service and Nobu staples always hit the sweet spot. Spicy tuna on crispy rice, oysters, sushi, hamachi with jalapeno, rock shrimp tempura with creamy spicy sauce, sea bass tempura, truffle butter ribeye and strawberry cheesecake never miss the mark. Ridiculously over priced, Nobu is delicious! We sat at the bar for happy hour and had most of the happy hour menu. It was great. The rolls were typical rolls but the hot dishes, like the chilean sea bass tempura was uniquely creative. The staff was extremely attentive with a shout out to our very friendly server, Bari. Thank you for the anniversary treat. If you want an excellent meal and are willing to pay, try the happy hour.

This was my first time to Nobu and certainly won’t be my last. *first timers, this place is NOT cheap* We tried the chefs menu, which is a curated menu. Your server interviews you to find out what you like and don’t like or any allergies. Based on that, they work with the chefs with your inspiration to curate a 8 course family style menu that is absolutely to die for. Every single thing I ate, the next dish took the top spot for my favorite. I couldn’t name a favorite! We added some dessert on the end and washed everything down with Lychee and elderflower martini’s and Japanese whiskey. The vibe is just right, packed restaurant with a cool and chill lounge house playlist. Everyone is dressed up and the servers and staff are top notch! Definitely a place for a special occasion, friends dinner, date night, or just good food!

Special treat for my birthday. It’s a nice place and so would advise you dress up a little. The food is good, service is fast and attentive and the atmosphere is quite trendy and upscale. I got the Nobu old fashioned cocktail which was very nice, an assortment of sashimi and rolls, prime rib, the cod and for desert I would recommend the date cake. The price is high but not crazy, so I think it’s a good value for your money.

We had a fantastic experience here tonight, the host, waiters and managers were all friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible. Best we’ve had compared to anything similar. We will be back!

Nobu Scottsdale never disappoints. The service is always amazing, and the food is always fresh and delicious. My personal favorites are the king crab ponzu, seafood ceviche, and the beef toban yaki. The beef toban yaki is always grilled perfectly, and literally melts in your mouth from how tender it is. Also you can never go wrong with the sushi! And for dessert definitely try the banana toban. It’s to die for!

I simply can’t say enough nice things about this staff and especially Eric C who was amazing guide through our evening. We have a table of 7 for a college graduation with several Nobu 1st timers and he was beyond patient and kind. He and colleagues handled all our needs with grace and precision and it was a very memorable experience for ALL the right reasons. Incredible food and drink from the Grand Cordon, the crispy avacado rice, the spicy albacore cut, the prime beef filet cooked to perfection with a citrus sauce and finishing off with an affogato and hazelnut crisp. Love this fresh seafood and sushi vibe. Every time I come to Arizona its a great experience with exceptional food. I recommend if it’s your first time and you are looking for a new place to checkout. One of my faves!

Well I don't even know what to say. We have never been to Nobu but had high expectations just based on its reputation. It exceeded every expectation. This was the best food we have ever eaten anywhere on our travels. Truly. Each course was utterly delicious. The black cod in miso, somehow melts in your mouth. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave superb recommendations. A couple of courses actually brought tears to our eyes!! (Sounds ridiculous, but true). It was an absolute experience.

Absolutely fabulous food and we ate many things. Service was also impeccable and a great atmosphere. The only knock I have are the prices. I lived in Japan for 15 years and had some similar dishes for a 10th of the price. Our favorite dish of the bunch was the Toro tartar with caviar. Recommend for an experience but beware of the final price tag.

We went for a birthday dinner. Quan provided impeccable service and the food was outstanding. The seaweed salad and miso soup were utterly delicious. The baked crab rolls were a hit with the table and we also enjoyed the ribeye with truffle butter. All agreed it was a fabulous experience. Highly recommend.

I went there with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and had an amazing time. We did a 6 course tasting menu and I couldn't get enough. The fish was superb, the steak was magical, and the atmosphere was perfect.

Lovely evening in the bar area. Attentive service, good recommendations, tried a few different things. Even for nobu it does feel a little pricey but … here we are. That last bit of tuna, correctly instructed to eat it as prepared, was delicious.

We absolutely enjoyed everything about Nobu. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely and the food mouth watering. We ordered more maki after because we couldn’t stop talking about how they melt in your mouth. Spicy scallops **chefs kiss. Honey Pistachio Semifreddo (passion fruit) one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth.

Took my wife there for her birthday. This was my first experience at Nobu, her second (Las Vegas). Our waiter made outstanding suggestions. The food and ambience were delightful. I have a very refined palate; but, I won't leave some snobby, high- brow review. The experience was worth the expense and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely be back!

The food was excellent, especially the colossal King Crab leg ~ awesome! Our servers were the best, seriously first class service from all the staff. Drinks were good as well. Glad we gave it a try, we were not disappointed in a single way.

Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful dining experience. Food was exceptional and service was spot on. The place was full, but we managed to get a seat at the sushi bar, which in my opinion is the way to truly enjoy. I've dined at some of the other locations (Malibu, Honolulu, Las Vegas), and this one ranks up there.

Been to Nobu San Diego. First time to Scottsdale location. Both are excellent. Took my wife for the Omakase experience, which was a continual chef's surprise with uncommon selections (like barracuda), and melt-in-mouth sashimi, over multiple courses. Included lamb chops as well. We added a couple of sushi items that apparently can be worked into the chef selections, if desired. We didn't because we wanted the full chef's inspiration. Not sure if all dinner settings have limited time, but we were not rushed. Note: Nobu is on the north side of Fashion Square just east of Dillard's with valet parking or garage in easy walking distance.

Oh mannn what an epic meal we had last night! In LA, it's impossible to walk into a Nobu and get seated but we decided to try our luck and girl, sure glad we did! Our hostess/server/manager Stephanie was wonderful in accommodating us at the bar. And I have to say, sitting at the bar was so much fun. The head sushi chef, Rex Kim, was our chef and he made some of the most delicious concoctions we've ever had. You could tell Rex is the real deal, making food with a passion that translates through the taste. What a joy it was to eat all of the creations he made... so much so, we ended up ordering a lot!! We enjoyed a number of dressed up sushis - all of which were incredibly delicious - the scallop, the red snapper, Kinmedai, salmon and the yellowtail sushi - all amazing (peep my pics). We also ordered the Toro Tartare with Caviar which had the best sauce I've ever tasted. The Chilean Sea Bass Tempura which I'm not sure is on the menu but was awesome - ask for this one. The Wagyu Dumplings which I didn't care to order at first but ended up really enjoying. Oysters and more! Thank you Nobu Scottsdale (esp Rex and Stephanie) for a truly amazing experience.

Food was awesome. Service was great. We sat at the sushi counter which was an awesome experience. Our sushi chef was very friendly, and informative. And I was cool to watch him prepare our dishes.

I can't believe I didn't eat here sooner! The most amazing sushi I've had in Arizona so far. Mike was our sushi chef, and he gave great recommendations. The quality was a 10, as well as freshness, and watching him prepare it was like watching art being made! Absolutely wonderful place to eat. Definitely coming back, and trying the wagyu next.

It was my first time going to Nobu, and the service was top notch! Even foods I don't normally like tasted really good. Everything was great quality, and I felt full and satisfied!

A wonder experience. Our server was great with several recommendations, starting with the Waygu Dumplings. The food was great, each dish featuring its own textures and flavors, we enjoyed, oysters, Jidori teriyaki chicken, California roll and rock shrimp withe a creamy spicy sauce. Each brought out at an enjoyable pace, allowing us to enjoy each course. Can't go wrong here.

This is an outstanding restaurant in an outstanding location in Arizona. True authentic Japanese food made with high-quality ingredients and presented in a very delightful way. The drinks in this restaurant are amazing and we love taking our whole family to this restaurant. Nobu has a wide variety on their menu, which makes it easy to go back over and over again. Their specials are highly unique and seasonable. This restaurant brings out the best in Phoenix and it is fun just sitting and watching the people enjoy their dining experience.

Nobu is quite the dining experience. The tacos are my absolute favorite. I try and get something different each time. Friendly service and beautiful ambiance. I definitely recommend!

Food was incredible, service was great, and atmosphere was terrific. Food came out fast and was delicious! We came as a party of three but weren’t terribly hungry so the amount we shared was perfect. Highly recommend!

Met up for a party. Made a reservation but still had to wait to get seated. There was no seating area so all of us just stood around trying to be out of the way of staff. The ambience was loud and hard to hear our waiter and our friends The sushi rolls we ordered did not "wow" me and the baked sushi was definitely different than what I expected and probably won't order again. Finally for the price that everything costs, I feel like there is better sushi somewhere else and probably won't be returning here.

Nobu's brand recognition is absolute with that being said this is not on par with either the Los Cabos location or their Southern California location. It has a great ambiance one that is orchestrated perfectly on a. Saturday night you can expect your drinks to take a little longer than usual the food is great the critique is on the service side of things. Attention to detail is lacking heavily by the staff they will sometimes bring tables the incorrect item or correct drink. And sometimes being. understanding you can accept the mistake, but it was happening all around and typically Nobu does not disappoint they typical will make sure to have the best staff available lighting was perfect for portraits and being able to capture the moment it is a much smaller location than the other locations so that should be expected and oddly enough they expect you to make reservations for the bar which does not truly make sense for the restaurant. It is great for a special event first date or hanging out with friends they do also have a room for larger parties that is separated. Also they close very early in my opinion on Friday and Saturday they need to make the transition to 1am last call at 12 for food and drinks only from 12-1 am Friday and Saturdays

Great ambiance. Recently re-visited for some drinks with my girlfriends. Went there around 10pm, no line. We were able to get drinks from the bar and sit outside although no service was available outside. Last summer I dined in and the AC was out, which was not the most pleasant experience as it was really hot inside.. Overall decent place for a night out.

It’s okay. Nowhere near the level of service or atmosphere you will find at other Nobu’s, including in Las Vegas. The food is really good and unique but really nothing to justify the exorbitant prices. The staff lacked attentiveness and was extremely slow with refilling our orders. The restaurant was not exactly busy. The menu is confusing and the waiter did not do a good job of explaining it. The dishes that were served were unique concoctions that had a lot of flavor, but do not justify the price. A lot of restaurants in Scottsdale with better food at a fraction of the price.

Absolutely horrendous service, although the waitress was kind and knowledgeable regarding the menu and tried her best to accommodate to our food restrictions. Nobu as a whole dropped the ball. Started great with some appetizers we got and for my main course I only ordered avocado roll and shrimp tempura. My bf ordered a black cod miso and it was great, but MORE THAN 20 minutes later after that and my rolls haven’t arrived yet. Sat there with nothing while my bf was waiting for my food to arrive and his food was getting cold. Mind you, it’s Sunday and dining area wasn’t full. I had low expectations with this place because unlike the other Nobus that are by the beach, this nobu was at the corner of the mall. Ocean 44 is right in the corner, just go there instead. They never disappoint with their exceptional service.

I can’t remember the last time I had to spit out my food because it was that disgusting. But, I almost did that not once but THREE times during my dining experience. This felt as far from fine dining as it gets. Go to Arby’s for a better experience.

Very disappointing experience. I had extremely high expectations for Nobu Scottsdale, but unfortunately the service and execution were unacceptable. We waited nearly two hours for a steak dish, only for it to arrive completely uncooked — not rare, not medium rare, but genuinely raw. Service was equally frustrating. Our waitress, Liz, was inattentive and it took an unreasonable amount of time just to receive two Diet Cokes and water. To make matters worse, when we checked out, she stood directly over my shoulder while I was tipping, which felt incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. For a restaurant of this caliber (and price point), this experience was shocking. I’ll be sticking with my Nobu in Dallas, where the food and service consistently meet the standard this brand is known for.
