This is one of the best chicken places ever and this is also the original of all the chains. The other Charo Chickens don’t compare at all when it comes to their seasoning here. I don’t think they sold the chains the severest recipe when they started franchising them. Been going here since 92’

Best chicken plates here with great customer service. The only thing that changed is that they do not deliver to my house anymore, so sad, I’m 3 miles extra out of range 😭 but that’s ok, I’ll still come down there 😊. Limited parking and seating at this location but totally worth taking home to the family or take to the beach bluffs if it’s not too windy outside.

Love the spicy chicken bowl, but even more, the employees are super nice and personable. Just a lovely place to stop in and chat while waiting for your food.

To see the chicken being grilled in front of you on the open flame was great. To then have just right amount of garlic butter applied to the succulent meat was even better. We got a side of potato salad and corn 🌽 which put this meal over the top. Friendly service and the meal was made super quick

I was hungry and wanted a char broiled. I checked them out. I am pleasantly surprised. The portion size is very fair for the price. Also the flavor of the chicken was really good. I sat inside and quietly enjoyed my meal. I ordered the Papa charo. I still had left overs and had that for dinner.

This is an absolute must if you like fire grilled chicken. It is the best I ever eaten. I also love the cilantro at the salsa bar. Nobody has cilantro but they do here. The employees are very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. I always come here when I'm in the area.

Fresh and tasty! So good every time we grab lunch at Charo. Bowls are a great option too, big serving sizes and easy to take leftovers home!

You can tell they care about the food they make! I only got a veggie bowl here and the vegetables were so juicy and the rice was seasoned so well. Shockingly good for such a simple meal.

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SIZED GIANT BURRITO PLEASE. I have been here many times after surfing. Its been a while as I suef up north now. I always loved the Giant Chicken Burrito. It was huge. 12 inches and about 4 itches thick stuffed into a 12 inch to go container usually diagnal. Now it is in a 7 inch container across. So half the size easily. It still has flavor and their price is the same. But I'm still hungry. Chicken is great here. Perfect flavor. For thr Giant burrito,, even if you have to raise the price from the current $12 to $14 or even $15 I would be much happier. Workers are welcoming. Flavor and quality 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Portion for the Gian Burrito 5/10. Please make it original giant size. I also did not taste much chicken. Ty.

We always love Charo Chicken. Tho, why you would discontinue your nachos is beyond me! They were the best. So, I had a spicy chicken tostada and bleh. Not nearly as good. Way too much rice. Way too much cumin. The atmosphere on the patio was nice tho. Nice and cool when everywhere else is hot.

We always love Charo Chicken. Tho, why you would discontinue your nachos is beyond me! They were the best. So, I had a spicy chicken tostada and bleh. Not nearly as good. Way too much rice. Way too much cumin. The atmosphere on the patio was nice tho. Nice and cool when everywhere else is hot.

Everything is good but the chicken. Kept burping the basic seasoning all night, very dry... it's just nothing better than what anyone would do at home with Walmart seasoning. Staff great, fast and easy just put more love to that chicken.

For the bowl not worth your money about 15dls with a medium fountain drink. This place has good food but they give you bunch of rice and beans and very little chicken like 5 strips of chicken breast. In my opinion you get less than 3 dls of product. Food tastes great just the chicken is not here and this is a business which sales chicken plates

Steak burrito 🧈 with little to no steak! Should have gotten the chicken 🐔 burrito at least they add chicken. In addition the tortilla was hot but the inside was room temp so hopefully I dont get food poisoning
