I want to acknokwedge our server Kasen for his exceptional service. He welcomed us with a friendly smile and he made us feel like family. We had many special requests and each time he was gracious, patient and very helpful. The resturant was extremely busy and yet Kasen often made a point to check on us to see if we needed anything else. He made dining at Islands Seal Beach a very enjoyable experience. We look forward to eating at Islands again in Kasen's section.

Came here on a Saturday night to watch the football game with family and friends at the bar area. Mark, their manager and David was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Mark checked on us often to see if there was anything we needed to such as food, drinks and even desserts for our kids. David often came around asking if we needed any refills or wanted to order other food while watching the game. The food was great, drinks was spot on and the atmosphere was fun and friendly! My family and I will be back again! Mark and his team made our night out with friends fun and full of laughs as we all had a great time!

Brace for impact fellow Californians/island surfers! This review may come as a bit longer but I wanted to embrace & encourage everyone to visit the talented fan favorite Mr. Mark! Although I’m not certain his position id be shocked if he wasn’t the general manager , the swagger mark shown since first stumbling on the island has been nothing short of the greatest experience! Mark honestly gives me the impression that I’ve known him as if we went to Hs & college together , definitely your neighborhood friend you grew up with vibe. Let me add I have 10 years experience in the food and beverage industry in Chicago before moving to California. Mark not only does great with matching items to recommended drinks but he goes so above and beyond his job title , again the crowd and mark himself are heard, he makes time to not only check on everyone but he brings up conversations remembering specific details & who wouldn’t love that.It’s like going to a friends house for game day & you’re always looking forward to seeing your people and boom marks there with his own mix and shimmy! Sorry the Vikings have not done well this year mark , but we know appreciate you routing on all teams when the crowd roars on Sunday! It’s also amazing to see the crowd built up from 9ers , chargers , chiefs , bills , Bears , packers , patriots , Steelers fans all in the same spot giving eachother big fives or some smack talking here and there haha It’s evident we forget Mark works here because when he goes to aid staff the crowd catches ourselves asking where did he go 🤣 comical we all want to hang with mark! Some of us even caught ourselves asking would you like a drink 🤣🤣 then he reminds us sorry I’m working thank you though and we all chuckle! Bottom line , we go to the islands on Sunday for mark & football ! We hope everyone gets to experience what we feel around our neighborhood friend and champion Mark ! Thank you for all you do - Good better best , never let it rest , until the good gets better , & the better gets best !

I love coming to islands so much with my buddies after basketball. This is one of our favorite hangout spots. Bree, Kaitlyn, Riss and Brooke are our girls! They always have the best attitude and always greet us with a smile. The best service, the coldest beers, and the best happy hour.

It's a burger joint, so I highly recommend eating a burger. The customer service is excellent, and the food cost is reasonable. August 2025 update: been going here for years and I’m never disappointed. The quality of the burger is top notch. I like that when you order a burger, you can have options for a size, trying to reduce fried food therefore I like that I can get soup or a salad as a side option.

I recently visited Island’s Restaurant for only the second time, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The location was convenient to our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were seated promptly and the service was quick. Our server was not only efficient but also fun and helpful. Although they were out of the onion rings that I had my heart set on, I ended up sharing a delicious cheeseburger with my son. The fries were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. I particularly enjoyed dipping them in their tasty BBQ and teriyaki sauces. The burger itself was seasoned perfectly and cooked just the way I like it. Overall, Island’s Restaurant provided a great meal in a well-known establishment. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a casual and satisfying dining experience.
