Great Atmosphere/ had lots of decorations , food was amazing compared to other similar places, wish the chili sauce was a bit hotter, Thai iced tea was perfect/ even had an iced bear. Our server Leilani was very attentive and recommended great options.
Asian fusion but mainly Chinese. Dinner big hits and a few misses. I really like the firecracker chicken and schezuan, hot and sour .. all really good. Some of the others were just ok but I'll continue to explore the menu. Had really good service, the guy was awesome friendly the girl a bit lacking 😅 Bottom line is it's better than average and worth a try!
My wife and I were in the mood for some Chinese food, so we decided to try the O & C China Bistro for the first time. The restaurant is very nice inside, with a relaxing atmosphere. My wife ordered the Kung Pao chicken and I had combination fried rice. The food for both of us was delicious and the service very good. As we were finishing, two children came out of the kitchen area. They were laughing and and had a couple items on an order for a woman. She was surprised and delighted. One of life's precious moments.

After traveling around the world and tasting food from all over I can say this restaurant is number one. Not only was the food great but seeing how the staff treated my family and went above and beyond was truly amazing. My parents always talked about the restaurant when I would cal them on while I was deployed and when I finally got to experience the restaurant for myself I was taken away! The owner and the kitchen all came and greeted my family by name and showed how truly passionate everyone working there is about serving the community and brining their own taste from home to our community!
Good spot within walking distance from our house. Seems like a nice family owned restaurant. Glad we finally checked it out. Large dishes so we had plenty to take home for leftovers.
I was in town overnight to help a friend out so I was just looking for some solid grub after a long day but O & C totally hit a home run with their Mongolian flank steak, totally unexpected. I've had wagyu beef in Japan, farm fresh ramen pork bellies in Portland ME, escargot and countless other beef products across the world. The Mongolian beef flank from O & C was perfectly seasoned for my taste, crispy on the outside and surprisingly tender in the middle. Flank steak in general is usually a tough cut however they must be doing some sort of voodoo magic in the back to get their steak this tasty and tender. I did ask for the recipe and they were able to tell me all the ingredients in the dish but wouldn't give away their trade prep secrets. The service and atmosphere was also excellent. My usual martini order is straight up with a rinse and lemon twist. It's usually hit or miss, I've even had bartenders ask me how to make it, however the server didn't even bat an eye or have to ask follow up questions and it was made perfectly which was a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely be stopping by next time I'm in town. The staff and atmosphere made me feel right at home after a long day. I highly recommend, 10/10.
I visited spontaneously with a friend on a Friday night, service was fast with no wait and the food was great. We shared some apps and each had a main course. The hot and sour soup was amazing - my new favorite place to get it! - and the portions were great. After the shared apps, my friend and I both had leftovers from our main course to take home. I will definitely be back, and would recommend to try if you haven't!
The portions were bigger than I expected (given that we’re in Sebastopol) and each dish was full of flavor. Not quite as healthy as I was expecting (lots of sauce on everything) but honestly it hit the spot and was exactly what I was craving. Will definitely come back! And the staff are so nice.
We LOVE it here! the staff is friendly, great atmosphere with very reasonable pricing. We got a glass of wine, a soda, pork dumplings, orange chicken & chowmein, all for $60 which is great for two people with left overs. The food is some of the best Chinese we have had, we have been getting take out & dining in for a while now. I am so surprised it is not more busy! BTW the pork dumplings are a MUST.

They had some confusions trying to take our order but the food was good. Would eat here again. But no rangoons next time, and more veggie chow mein.

I was passing through Sebastopol with a friend and excited to check out the bistro. I’m vegetarian and there was a nice selection of offerings for me. The service was friendly and extremely efficient. The only disappointment was there was a photo of Sebastopol crispy tofu and eggplant that looked delicious on the menu. In the picture, there were long strips of dry crispy tofu slices. It’s just a mouthwatering photo and I was excited to try it. However, when I got the dish, it was cubes of tofu cooked into the gooey sauce, so it wasn’t crispy at all. It would be nice if they changed the photo or alerted people that you weren’t actually getting crispy tofu like in the picture! Aside than that, it was a great experience and a quaint restaurant with a lovely wait staff!
We had Wednesday night dinner in the sparsely populated main dining room. O&C presents itself as slighly upscale Chinese dining in a nicely decorated room, etc. It feels to me like this is a Chinese-food nod to the wine tourism in the area, where you can offer a slightly more upscale version to guests wanting to live the good life. The food is rather Chinese-American ordinary, with all the usual suspects (Kung Pao, etc.) on the menu. The food is well executed versions of all these Chinese standards. It's not exceptional, but it's high quality and well-prepared. O&C is not at the level of cultural adventure that Chinese restaurants in San Francisco offer, but's it's a fine local.

A mixed bag... the ambience is nice if you're dining in and the wait staff were very pleasant, however I was extremely disappointed by the pad thai. The sauce was bland and watery, and instead of the usual pad thai fix-ins (bean sprouts, green onions, lime, chilies) it was just huge chunks of onion and carrot? The icing on the cake here is that for the rest of the evening I had horrible stomach cramps... that being said my family really enjoyed their choices including the walnut prawns and beef with broccoli. So I suppose choose with caution?
Well this was disappointing to open a container and see this Orange Sesame Pork for $12 and no I didn’t eat half of it. And the Crispy Cheese Puffs where dry too for $7. I’m not one to write bad reviews so this is as bad as it gets. Needs improvement.

I have been ordering their Mongolian Beef with extra beef for a couple years now. This time around the meat was almost tender, but it was (every piece) very chewy (like chewing gum) and veinier than usual. The taste was [almost] as it has always been, but a bit off. I’ll try again out of loyalty, but if it’s the same again I will have serious discussion about returning.
Uncomfortable and tense atmosphere. Staff are always on edge. The food is well priced and delicious though. I do hope they bring back the chow fun some day.

Nicely decorated Chinese restaurant with some other Asian dishes. Prices had gone up substantially in the past year from the menu the restaurant posted on Google Maps, likely the result of pandemic. I appreciate that the menu with prices is posted on the front entrance so there’s no confusion what you are getting. Only the bar and outside dining areas are open due to labor shortage. At 5:40 pm on a chilly Saturday evening, they had a very busy takeout business and all 4 inside tables were in use. Unfortunately, the food we got was not up to par, both in flavor and ingredients. The mushu vegetable had the right flavor, but they skipped the starch in the sauce so it was completely watery. As for the fried rice with pork, there’s almost nothing other than mostly white rice with some scant pork cubes, with almost nothing else. The pork was also of dubious quality, as I couldn’t tell whether some of it was meat, skin, or some other connective tissues.

Very disappointed overall. The walnut prawns were tasty - the only thing we liked. The vegetable chow mein has an awful flavor - it's supposed to be - we want it to be - the ultimate comfort food...may throw 90% of it in the compost bin. The basil chicken sauce tasted similar to the chow mein, but with basil. The seaweed salad portion was small but it was fairly good.

I dont usually take the time but this was a horrible experience. Wonton soup had 2 almost raw small chunks of carrot 3 small pieces of brocolli 6 wonton which had zero taste and the noodles falling apart like old. The egg rolls were out of a box.. 4 skinny that were not crisp they weren't even frozen section quality....I threw them away in fear of getting sick as they didn't appear cooked and the supposed chicken was mush. The egg rolls were in a paper sleeve like you would get at a fast food stand. $26 for the worst Chinese food ever! It is deceiving because the web page photos look so delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. I love to give places a chance... you need to seriously review your food.

We ordered delivery in the middle of a big move and didn’t feel like cooking. No rice was sent with two dishes that clearly should be served with rice (sweet/sour and kung pao chicken). We were not prompted when ordering to add rice so it was a total and unfortunate surprise. Food quality also is not great, won’t be returning.
I had an average dinner (fine so far, was not expecting a great food experience) and an initial pleasant service experience with my niece who was visiting from England. I left a 20% tip. The server was using one of those portable point-of-service devices. I selected 'No Receipt' after payment. So, imagine my shock when the same very waitress and the owner came running out of the restaurant shouting "you need to pay! you need to pay!". We calmly stated we most certainly did pay and I can prove it by simply going into my bank app to show the payment. The manager or the owner then questioned the server again to confirm the table number where we were seated. After she confirmed it was table 17, he could see that we did in fact pay. He apologized and confirmed that it was the lady next to us who did not pay. This would all be fine except as people of color, it is particularly embarrassing to be chased down in a parking lot being accused of 'needing to pay'. I am wondering if the owner or manager went back inside and told all the folks that we did in fact pay and it was the white lady at the other table they needed to speak to. Unfortunately little incidents like these put an indelible scar in your dining experience. I won't be going back here again.
