tappa obbligatoria se abbiamo voglia di farci coccolare da una cucina genuina , casalinga ,semplice e sempre buona. i ravioli sono ottimi e le porzioni non tradiscono mai, il resto come detto è un piacere , da non perdere le zucchine fritte . il tutto condito da grandissima gentilezza ed ad un prezzo veramente onesto.bravi veramente bravi continueremo a tornare da voi!!!!

One of those historic trattorias, small but welcoming, with a family atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. They offer a few simple, traditional dishes, but they're all very well cooked. The pasta is excellent, and the ravioli are the best. Highly recommended.

We had dinner on Saturday evening; we had a nice table, and everyone was very satisfied. We started with appetizers (cured meats, pickled vegetables, and Russian salad). Then I wanted to try the ravioli with ragù (the ragù is basically Genoese tuccu, excellent!), and I have to admit they deserve their fame. A mixed filling of meat and vegetables, as tradition dictates. (My grandmother used to make them this way.) The asado was good, but next time I'd probably try either the cima (others in my group had it and said it was very good) or the grilled meat. And to finish, an excellent zuppa inglese, a dessert I love but rarely find on the dessert menu. All of it was plentiful, with house wine, liqueurs, and coffee; we spent about €30 each. I'd say excellent value. The woman who served us was very kind and polite, and above all, patient with our requests. And thanks to the owners who brought cheeses for our vegetarian friends (instead of cured meats). They also have gluten-free pasta for celiac guests. Everything was perfect.

We had dinner last night after a few years. The interior has been partially renovated and is much more pleasant. The service was very friendly, and we had excellent ravioli, veal tonneau, a grilled sausage, and fried zucchini. Everything was delicious, accompanied by a good house red wine. The prices are fair, something you won't find in the city anymore.

Un posto alla "buona" come una volta. Il personale è molto simpatico, disponibile e adeguato al locale. Le materie prime utilizzate sembrano ottime e probabilmente a Km0, il che non guasta mai. Il conto non lo conosco, abbiamo pranzato come ospiti di amici.

Non potendo recensire l'albergo non essendoci mai stato, mi limiterò a descrivere l'ottima qualità del ristorante: i ravioli sono davvero eccezionali (il posto è rinomato per questo) e anche i secondi piatti di carne sono ottimi. Il Ristorante Cantarana ormai è diventato una tappa fissa, una tradizione di famiglia, perchè è proprio in famiglia che ti fanno sentire. Sono famosi per i loro ravioli, davvero ottimi con tutti i condimenti: ragù, funghi, burro e salvia, e anche al...pesto! Ebbene si, mia figlia da piccina li mangiava solo al pesto ed era molto soddisfatta! Tra i secondi spicca la tagliata e, quando riescono, l'asado (un burro!). Le verdure sono tutte del loro orto e quindi i contorni sono stagionali (a metro zero!). Prezzi onestissimi. Il gazebo esterno molto piacevole. In periodo di Covid prestano molta attenzione: dopo aver sparecchiato un tavolo, igienizzano immediatamente tavolo e sedie, portano il pane in sacchetti di carta e annotano i dati dei commensali per eventuali contatti legati alla pandemia. Super consigliato!

Siamo in un ambiente di altri tempi e questo per me è un pregio! Semplice nell'arredo ma consistente nel servizio e nel cibo: I Ravioli sono molto buoni anche conditi con olio e formaggio, il resto è di buona qualità arrosto/cotoletta alla milanese/ coniglio e il loro dolce è buono! Non troverete niente "al profumo di" o su un "letto di".......

We ate here in the evening. The interior is a bit simple, but that doesn't make the food any less delicious! Their specialty, fried zucchini, was a hit and definitely recommended. Their other specialty, "ravioli," was delicious and fresh. The rest of the food is definitely worth the price if you're looking for something simple at a reasonable price. A medium bowl of ice cream costs €5, but you really get a full bowl.

I've read reviews that say the ravioli are the best in the world... I wonder where they ate them? In my opinion, the ravioli topped with a ragù that tasted like boiled meat was mediocre, tasteless. I'm sorry to have to comment negatively on the friendliness and kindness of the staff, but I have to be objective. It's cheap.
