Staff was friendly, and our food came pretty swiftly. Some menu items are slightly expensive, but it’s worth the money; the food looks like a sushi platter, real fancy-like. The architecture is pretty neat, I like the squiggly looking lights. The place is pretty fancy, and the music was nice and mellow, compared to some restaurants that play loud freakin’ Banda music. Overall great experience, I’d recommend!!!

One of nicest restaurants in Shafter. Food is always great quality. They have all you can eat chips and salsa. They also have a lunch buffet. They make their own tortillas. They have a large Mexican food menu. They also have burgers and pizza. Staff are nice. Food is a bit pricey though.

The food here is really good. Didn’t have time for pics it was that good lol! Definitely a come to spot whenever I’m in the area.

Anyhow the very least your company could've warn us customers about this type of scheme..that is unfortunately legal. Nonetheless the food and staff were worth it.

Overpriced, I ordered the burger, it was ok but I've had fast food burgers that tasted better, the lettuce was brown the cheese was burnt, and the patty was small. I I ordered a sex in the beach, I used to bartend. The sex on the beach was over powered by the peach flavor, it was very watered down and not worth the $13.95. I have bought $4 dollar store bought pre made malt liquor sex on the Beaches that where way better tasting. Service was good and friendly, the bartender didn't understand what I was asking.

Went for shrimp ceviche tostadas. The shrimp was gray. The lemon tasted old. I could taste old bitter lemon peel on every bite. 4/10

Got shrimp cocktail the WORST EVER first off… it was warm like I know they cook the shrimp but to throw it all together when the shrimp are hot makes the whole dish warm and just plain nasty .. second the service was horrible I mean I felt so rushed they didn’t even bring everything out that goes with the meal that states it comes with on menu. And I can say the atmosphere was great cause I had my hubby with me and made me feel like I wasn’t about to lose my mind on that place it was one thing after another. Let’s just say I won’t be going again. But thanks for the good chips and salsa

To make matters worse, my total was $120, but the outrageous taxes and fees added an unreasonable amount to the bill. The lack of accurate menu information and unexpected charges overshadowed what could have been a pleasant dining experience. I hope management addresses these issues promptly, but until then, I strongly advise against dining at Don Pepe’s. Many other establishments provide transparent pricing and up-to-date menus without surprise charges.

Very rude waitresses first time going to this restaurant I had high hopes but unfortunately won't be stepping a foot in that restaurant not only are the waitresses rude they rush you and start to pick up your plates and drinks before even being there thirty minutes into your meal the food could honestly do better too better cooks better customer service is what this place needs

Retrain your waitresses and fire your chef!
