From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the polished design and vibrant atmosphere — it feels like a place made to impress without losing its authentic soul. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. But the real magic started when we got home and opened up the food. Every bite was bold, fresh, and full of flavor — the kind of meal you can’t help but devour too quickly. We instantly regretted not ordering more. First time coming to this place. The tacos were amazing. I had a couple quesabirria tacos and a handmade tortilla taco de pastor. The salsas are also very tasty. Staff was friendly. Location is clean and big. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I plan on eating here anytime I come to Wasco.

Great food amazing service. This small town doesn't have much but this place has best fresh authentic Mexican food I have eaten in a while. Just a couple blocks from 46 worth the detoure we all have eaten enough fast food chain. Let's support local fresh real food!!!

Good flavor authentic Mexican food and great service

I've visited this place several times while in Wasco. Everytime I've enjoyed the food and service. The handmade tortillas for the tacos were delicious. The quesabirria tacos were delicious. You do have to pay for chips and salsa which is a bummer for a Mexican restaurant. The other downside is the price, a bit expensive. I spent over 20 dollars for my food. I will undoubtedly return when in town. I definitely recommend if you don't mind paying a bit higher price tag.

Very good mexican place at Wasco. There are a lot to compare to, they are all very good, but this I like best. It's very clean, has a working AC!!! Servers were very friendly and willing to do recommendations over the items on the menu. I went there for "Taco Tuesday"; I had 4 chicken tacos an a soda (with refill) for $8.50. Food was awesome, hot sauces that came on the side were very good. When not on Tuesday the have a plate with 3 tacos (beef, chicken, or pork), rice, beans and a soda gor $12.50. Great deal! It has no parking lot, but there's a lot of public parking spaces on the street. Will be back coming Tuesday. Highly recommended.

I had a Carne asadaa torta, it was really good, the bread was perfectly toasted vegetables were nice and crispy. The cheese and beans delish! When in Wasco I will definitely be going back.

I ate dinner here on Friday night. It was hot and we didn’t want to sit in the house and eat. We came to La Imperial Taqueria. First thing I noticed is the parking lot is a really good size and you should have no issues finding a spot. They had a cool covered outdoor area to eat, but since it was 100+ degrees that day we went inside. Inside was simple and clean. No frills but I felt like they really kept things clean. The lady at the service window asked if it was to go or dine in. We said dine in and she said to take a seat and some menus and she would be with us in a moment. We sat and she was at our table within a few minutes as she had to handle another customer. We ordered (I had the Camaron Ala Diabla and my girlfriend had the Chili Relleno Burrito. My food was very good and my girlfriend said the burrito was very hot and as soon as it cooled down she enjoyed it. We attempted to pay using the QR code on the check, but you have to download an app so we paid at the counter instead. The lady who helped us was very nice and friendly. We actually ended up chatting for a few minutes. Overall I would go back without question.

Got the Chile Verde plate, they first gave us the wrong food then we went back to get it fixed, what a big disappointment the chile verde was really bad the color was dark green with a very strong flavor of an spice that I couldn't identify. IWe had it before maybe a couple of years back and it was very good but this one no where close.

This place goes from worst to worse hostess or cashier is more interested in talking to her friend than taking notice there's order sitting behind her and people waiting for that works and she's more into the conversation then doing her job I literally waited for 20 minutes for an order when it was behind here the whole time

Don't recommend going here the prices are ridiculous for food that you receive. I ordered 2 tacos of carnitas and a horchata for $12 just to get 2 tacos that didn't even have enough meat to even make 1 taco

So upset!! 3rd time they mess up my order with door dash! Ordered 3 tacos De Asada with everything and 3 of Cameron with no onion and no tomato. Only received the 3 De Asada and 1 of shrimp made correctly with avocado and no tomato or onion.. Called the restaurant, they rechecked my order and had my husband return the food (since I had the baby in the car I waited). My husband waited 15 more minutes for my 2 tacos De camaron and once we got home they were still NOT correct. Only had cheese ONION and 3 shrimp!! Called back and no one answered. Went back to the restaurant and they were already closing! The food is pricey as is so why not get the order correct!?! Definitely will not be going here again!!!!

Menu prices aren't what the charge you and up changed from receipt 2 10 dollar chicken quesadilla $35 charge to my card... Beans and rice were old Quesadilla and chips were good but the chicken was old as well as No guacamole in or sour cream in the bag that i asked for... won't be going here again... Disappointed with almost everything. They changed to styrofoam plates instead of real ones. Potions are smaller like for the meat fries because of the different plates. Prices the same or more: almost $15 for carnitas fries and 1 drink. Our food wasn’t hot either. They were out of some drinks and when I asked they said I could have only what was available. Last time I’ll be there. Used to be one of my favorite too. I don’t know what’s changed but I just started working back in town and was really disappointed by the changes.

First let me start by saying the ladies in the front are rude. The worst customer service ever! I ordered a burrito and I wanted to get cheese on my burrito (which I was going to pay for no problem). The girl in the front told me I couldn't get cheese because the food comes a certain way and it would take "extra" work for them to make it . I didnt end up getting my burrito because they refused to make it the way I wanted. If I could give this place no stars I would .

So I went today and some lady that worked there cleaned the table with a dirty rag and the rag smelled very nasty it stunk up the table. So I told her that the rag was dirty and smelly and she got all mad. This lady has so much attitude every time.Her name is Lizbeth. She’s not respectful at all she should probably change her attitude and maybe the place would be good!

The food here is good, but on my way in a rat went running by my feet and right into the kitchen. So next time when you think twice about eating here because it might just be a rat in your food.

Mariscos was not even ready, she looked at me all crazy when i asked for aguachiles. She looked up at the menu like she was confused and said nooo i wouldn't get that. Tacos were not that great and the people were rude.

Worst taco Tuesday in my entire life. I. Traumatized by this place. I hope they learn how to cook one day because what they served me was disgusting.

I just went and dined at the new location on Hwy 43. They didn't bring all our food all at once. My grandson's food arrived first and started getting cold before ours came to the table. We ordered the famous "asada fries" that came with old and dried out asada meat chopped up and thrown on top and the fries were already getting cold. They just decorated it so nicely to cover the neglect to not cook fresh product. Everything is supposed to be hot, especially if you are eating in person. We paid over $75 for four meals and drinks and still returned home hungry. We at first chose a table in the patio and came back inside because when we sat at a table next to the garden wall it smelled so bad wreaking of urine. We definitely won't be going back there for a long while, if ever again. It's a shame that the plates look and come better when you order it on the door dash app. They should never be different from one ordering experience compared to another.

This is now the third time I’ve come in two hours before closing, and I’ve been told they won’t take my order because “everything is already turned off.” I’ve also tried calling ahead to place an order, but instead of helping, they made me wait on the line while I could hear staff laughing in the background. On top of that, the girls working the front are extremely rude, and even the older lady who cooks shows the same attitude. I’m not trying to be a Karen, but this was really disappointing. This used to be one of my favorite spots to eat, but because of the way customers are treated, I’m seriously considering no longer coming here.
