Never a bad experience at any Tacos La Villa I've ever been to, and this location holds true. My quesadilla was monstrous and delicious. Girl at the counter was super friendly and patiently helped my old ass with the ordering portal. Two thumbs up👍👍

I came here for their Taco Tuesday specials. I grabbed 2 tacos de asada, 2 tacos de Pollo for under 6 dollars. The tacos as you can see, are served generously. Food was delicious. I heard they have Torta Thursdays. I can't wait to come in 2 days.

Probably the best location in Kern Co. I've been to most of the Tacos La Villas in Kern Co, and this one is most definitely the most consistent with the quality of food. At some locations, you order carne asada, and it tastes different depending on when you order and who makes it. At this location, I can count on the food tasting really good each time I go.

I enjoyed a Hot Cheeto burrito, three carne asada tacos, and a birria taco. Everything was tasty – exactly what you'd expect from a good, quick-service spot. While it's not quite like a home-cooked meal, it definitely hit the spot when I needed something fast and satisfying.

Great food and service and they have a drive through. I like to go here for taco Tuesdays and any other deals on different days. Salsas are good. Also have a rewards program to get free items sometimes. Definitely worth trying or getting tacos on Tuesdays. The interior is nothing special.

Longest I've had to wait was 10-15 minutes but it was also because it was taco Tuesday and there were two other cars in front so that's understandable. Food is always good, they always put a good amount of meat, and it always tastes good. My only complaint is the last time my boyfriend got chicken tacos and they tasted like tripas so they probably didn't clean the grill good enough. Also the best service is at night 😊 p.s. always be nice to the workers, they deal with a lot

Decent beans, and pretty tasty fries. They definitely have options without cheese. Avocado side was top notch!

The tortillas were a bit dry. But overall the meal was good I really liked my churro.

Good food, but disappointed in the amount of food. Ordered a torta and it was just plain and a burrito that was small for the price. Bakersfield has better prices like chicken burritos for $5 everyday and chicken taco for .99 everyday. Will try some of the specials.

The tacos are dry so Taco Tuesdays aren't fun but everything else that I've had is pretty good especially the Michi Aguas 🔥

Slow, slow, slow. Do not recommend coming here on your lunch break unless you want to spend your whole lunch in line. I have already been here for 20 minutes.

The food is delicious and fresh but the only thing I found out about that they are charging $10 for a asada torta with LESS meat and no Avocado or the Mexican cheese inside as I went through the Instagram business page I did see that the tortas with everything with avocado too! I posted a picture up for proof!

Not only were the hot cheetos in my burritos stale, they somehow found a way to make the dr pepper stale as well. Food was mediocre, there's better taco places in Shafter. Bring del taco back.

Not like the ones in Bakersfield. Not the same deals and Carne Asada fries definitely not the same. Meat was dry, fries were hard and all the toppings just thrown on the side.

Bought 20 different kinds of tacos on taco Tuesday thinking I was getting a great deal. But after eating them I realized we were actually overcharged by .99cents per taco. Straight garbage.

Girl that took our order on 6/23/22 was kinda rude and we paid for 3 bottle cokes that we didn't receive and was out of town the next day and came back today 6/29/22 with receipt and they refused to give us our cokes that we paid for plus the food isn't that great and way to expensive. Plus we observed the cook using the knife he had cut food with to cut boxes. Not good

Each time I've come to eat, the burritos have barely, to no beans even after requesting extra, tacos, too greasy, floors are also sticky each time I come in, honestly wouldn't recommend, just go to La Fonda or La Imperial

Yuk. Just plain Yuk. First time eating here. Ordered chicken tacos combo. Chicken had no flavor and rice was under done. Masking the tacos with green sauce, doesn't fool anyone!

Went through the drive through the onlther night and they served my burrito ice cold like it was sitting out for 3-4 hours. I threw it in the garbage after 1 bite. Disgusting.

If you can go elsewhere, go. I just ordered TWO asada tacos at the drive thru and it took them 30 minutes to hand me my order. They made the order of the person behind me first.

Either way, it's frustrating to pay for something and not get what you ordered. Warning to anyone ordering here: Check your food before you leave or you might end up getting shorted like I did.

Filthy then when asked to clean tables as they all are dirty, girl rolled eyes, then guy asked which table is dirty that you want cleaned. We cleaned ourself and they never came out and cleaned. 2nd time here, same attitude will never come here again

We eat at the tacos la villa in Bakersfield a lot... so since we were in town visiting family decoded to get lunch and SO DISSAPOINTED! everything was wrong, I asked for 4 pork tamales they gave us 2, asked for nachos extra meat and cheese and beans nope I had 4 spoon fulls of meat, and I paid extra for it all.. the onmy thing they got right was the asada burrito. So won't be going back when we're in town! My in-laws said I should drove back and complain but seriously that's a waste of time and gas to drive back into town. But Bakersfield on Rosedale and the Olive Drive places are very good, and always make it exactly as I ask! The ones who run those place is doing well! Shafter needs help!

Seriously need to teach these kids about how a restaurant needs to be ran when there isn’t a member of management present.

By the 3 minutes it took me to get home my food was cold. No flavor either. The lemons they gave us were also old and started to turn like 2 hrs before I got there. Food is also super over priced. I paid 40 for 6 tacos and 2 drinks...... Never again.
