Opinions de Starbucks Sierra Madre
What is not to love!! They are the best in town hands down. The team is loving and actually care about your day and how they are able to help in anyway. I love this location and everyone on the team. Yaaas! Sahara and Rye!!
This is one of the better Starbucks. They'll get your order right. If for some reason they don't, then they'll go out of their way to make ot right. The staff is professional and polite.
Sitting here in Sierra Madre was so relaxing... reminded me of being on The Andy Griffith show, a little part of Mayberry up in the hills... People sitting visiting with each other a lot of people walking around with their dogs on leashes it was just really nice.... And the girls that I spoke to the two inside of Starbucks were very kind and sweet.... We're going to go out that way and visit a lot this summer! #BEKIND... Support Autism ❤️
Always a smile and a friendly word to go with your order! At New Years you can see the Sierra Madre Rose Float entry on display in Kersting Court, just outside!
i come by every morning on my way to work to get my coffee and the employee's here are just so friendly and are always in a happy mood
Great customer service ask for a cup of ice on the side n the gentle men was happy to help. Thanks for making things so easy.
Friendly staff and good atmosphere : D would definitely go again.
Love to go get coffee in downtown Sierra Madre. Check out the new designed Kersing court right across from Starbucks.
I’m not a fan of Starbucks, but every once in a while when I go or my hubby brings me something from there I enjoy it.
It has a small town atmosphere. The emploeyes are very nice and friendly. I love the egg bites.
Staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our items. Things we had we're great.
Typical Starbucks...munchies..great coffees, clean bathrooms, friendly staff and a drive up window.
Thank you to Kamora who served me so nicely. The bagel, butter and honey was delicious. I loved how she put a wooden spreader so I didn't make a mess. Thanks again.
Love the Sierra Madre Starbucks! The location is perfect!
Great local shop. Employees are very friendly and personable. Definitely a small town coffee shop vibe. They know my order, always greet me by name. Small things but nice in a busy, impersonal world.
Staff is very friendly and comforting. The manager always makes the drinks with love. She's the one with the exotic flower on her hair. I love coffee and the mocha frappachino. Community is great as well. If you haven't gone to this Starbucks dont wait...........go now!!!!
My 2nd home seriously....I LOVE my Buxs! The staff are the BEST. Its not just another Starbucks but truly our local coffee spot. From the staff, to the store,.its centrally located and with the App its super easy to order and pick up. Always greeted with a smile and happy faces, I actually enjoy swinging thru just to say Hey!
Consistently friendly baristas. Great little town to enjoy your coffee in!
Good service. Super friendly staff. Shot the shit about motorcycles.
Small shop but the area is so beautiful and lots of outdoor seating

Really great service, everyone here is very nice and always has a smile on their face first thing in the morning. I continue coming to this location because of the service however its very packed their with super long lines.
Staff is friendly and makes good drinks as ordered. Usually pretty clean, but could check restrooms for cleanliness and supplies more often.
Had a great time at this Starbucks in Sierra Madre CA. One of the best I've been at. Great service and nice neighborhood
No drive-thru at this location. Have always received great service from this location.
Line too long, but great food and service, prices as well. I put my name under "Bob"
The location of this Starbucks is great. The atmosphere and people are what really counts here. If you are a coffee connoisseur, then skip. None of their coffees are good. They are either too bitter or acidic or over roasted. If you like their other engineered drinks with sweetners and flavors, then it's a good place to get a sweet fix. The portions in general keep getting smaller and smaller.
Very nice Starbucks. Centered in the quaint small town feel of Sierra Madre. All walks of life congregate here to mellow out and soak up the charm of this town. Staff is super friendly but a little slow.
Food and beverages are good. The service is excellent and staff are usually helpful. Small shop but when it's not busy it is a nice place to dine in.
Great place to grab a quick bite or sit down and work for a while. Ordering ahead is highly recommended, the line can get very long.

This Starbucks is very small and the only one in Sierra Madre. I arrived here on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a Flat white coffee and chocolate croissant. Staff (two young women) were friendly, competent and professional. Indoor seats were limited however they have outdoor seats. Parking is very limited. Overall, it’s an okay Starbucks location.
Went in for a bagel, a caramel macchiato and an oat milk latte. The cashier seemed a little annoyed but the order came quickly. The line seemed to fill up rather fast as well during this time. This is probably the best option when you're in a hurry,o or don't care all that much, but there are a lot of privately owned coffee shops nearby I'd probably recommend more highly.
Well, just ok. Just like any other Starbucks now. The Baristas are, hmmm, ok as said earlier... just never feel like what I pay for now is as the same work of art it used to be at Starbucks. Starbucks used to be the place you went to find special attention for a very expensive cup O coffee. Now I just go there because I cant find Peets. So sorry. Regulations took the Barista...the art...out of a very special cuppa J..
Place gets very busy between 9 and 10 a.m. on Saturdays but they are pretty efficient
This Starbucks is good, but not good. It's in the middle for me. The atmosphere is clearly supposed to be relaxing and calming and helps people focus on whatever they're doing. I didn't really see how it was quiet and calming though.. The moment I stepped foot into this Starbucks was when I was greeted with about 20 students all hogging and squishing up the seats in the Starbucks. I was forced to get my drink and then head out of the Starbucks and drink my drink outside. It was extremely hot and I was very uncomfortable. Please buy more seating, other than that everything is awesome!

There’s much better coffee in town, Starbucks in general has gone downhill and this location is no exception. You can’t go wrong getting coffee anywhere else in town.
Very negative vibe from the weird staff. She was unfriendly and unintelligent. My drink was good though.,.thankfully, she didn’t make it😁
Comparing against other Starbucks. Got my name horribly wrong and did not call out any of the orders. Had to sort through other peoples orders to find mine.
The staff are typically nice at this location. But honestly the atmosphere is very stressful. The store is far too tiny and basically needs to be converted into a kiosk type of Starbucks. There’s not enough room for the seating and the dozens of screaming teenagers falling all over each other. They need to remove the seating and arrange the store so its easier to pick up the orders. And get rid of the ridiculous air blower at the entrance. It way too noisy and really has no point in being there.
This Starbucks has an overall negative vibe with 1 employee in particular being snooty. For such a friendly city, I was taken aback by the rudeness of 1 employee, but maybe she was having a bad day. Total of 3 tables indoors with 2 outlets. Bathroom and location is clean. Not an exceptionally good Starbucks and there are much better local cafes elsewhere. Busy location, but they get through orders quickly.
The guy asked my name it's a four letter name and pretty damn easy . I gave him it then waited. Unfortunately he didn't listen enough and I'm not trying to exaggerate about twelve people came and went with their drinks and so I asked did you get my drink and if so what name did you put. They said oh someone probably grabbed mine I said my name and the guy called me something entirely different . It was just nonsense . Please take a second and maybe confirm with the customer before putting the wrong thing down entirely.
I come in almost every weekday & its rare if I get a greeting, not sure why, I hear them give others a hello or a have a nice day while waiting for my drink. It'd be nice to get same, especially because a simple hello, puts a smile on anyone's face & during this pandemic, we need more smiles...😃
Slow, slow, slow! I've tried to stop in for coffee on my way too work several times in the past and every time the line is out the door. After waiting for an eternity, I will finally get my coffee (which is always delicious). Parking sucks. There is also minimal seating at best so don't plan on finding a place to work on your lap top. There are times that they are so slow that I have to leave without my coffee after standing in line for 20 min so I'm not late for work.

Parking is a nightmare. Unable to get anything because we couldn’t find any parking within a quarter mile of the place.
Came in with my sister inlaw for a cold drink on this hot day. We asked if we could move a table over a little bit and the sweet lady working behind the counter said sure. When my sister inlaw went up to the counter to ask for them to remake her green tea lemonade because the gentleman put too much water in it he became really rude. He said he was in charge and to move the table back. I went up to ask for his name and he said why, I said well you said you are in charge so I would like to know your name. He said his name was Anthony and then proceeded to say "what are you going to do, talk about me". Very unprofessional. Do better Anthony.
They will try to embarrass you when you ask for the restroom. Come on ppl... this is a very nice location for a break just to chill, why make it weird and inappropriate.
I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for over 15 years and always appreciated its friendly, small-town feel. On a recent quiet Thursday evening, I stopped by a little too late to order a drink, but asked for a puppuccino for my dog like I’ve done many times before. One of the female employees, however, firmly told me, “It’s not like that anymore,” and said I had to buy a drink. She was very adamant, and the interaction felt unusually cold and unwelcoming. I understand if policies have changed, but after so many years of support, I was surprised by how dismissive the experience felt. I hate to see the small-town community atmosphere disappearing — it’s what made this location special.
The staff is usually super friendly, but I came here on a slow weekday evening (no customers and 2 staff members) and asked if I could order a puppuccino for my dog. I was told they don’t unless you’ve purchased something, which hasn’t happened before. Just surprised to see Starbucks policy has changed at this location.
Stopped by on a hot morning after a walk and came inside to get some water. I asked the person behind the counter if I could have a simple cup of water and she told me I have to buy something first? I’ve never had to buy something to have a simple cup of water; not even just at Starbucks, literally anywhere I go. I’ve been to many other locations and have gotten a cup of water without being asked to buy something. I thought it was a California law that restaurants are required to give free water if asked? Never coming here again.
Last weeks, and has often been our experience at this location by both myself and my wife, was again a hassle. If you have time for your order to be constantly getting delayed, to include people that got there after you getting served first, this is the Starbucks to go to for horrible, dismissive, disrespectful rude service.
Went into location around 8:00am after coming from the Valero gas station across the street where the attendant gave me change of a 50.00 bill. Ordered (2) Pike's coffee and (2) bacon/egg croissant's. Handed the team member the 50.00 bill and she gave me back 5.00, I immediately told her I gave her a 50.00 dollar bill and the change is incorrect, open the cash drawer and you will see "I said". She seemed surprised but opened the cash drawer but.... reached under the cash drawer and displayed the 50.00 dollar bill not think my wife and I did not see! A 15.00 charge subtracted from 50.00 dollars should have 35.00 change but... she then handed me back 15.00 more in change (OMG )... I told her that her math is wrong! you still owe me 15.00 more dollars! The impression is that she was trying to steal from us and I would NEVER recommend that StarBucks location to anyone after our experience. While I have never! had a problem at any StarBucks, that was a first!!! Coffee was great as was the croissant's.
