My wife and I come here for the pancakes. They are massive, fluffy, and full of flavor. Service is always top notch with refills and anything we needed. Atmosphere is same as any cabin feeling. Great prices for great food.

Jose was absolutely amazing! From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. He was attentive without hovering, super friendly, and made sure everything came out exactly right. Our food was hot, fresh, and timed perfectly, and Jose checked in often to be sure we had everything we needed. His positive attitude and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. I go to black bear diners because of the price and quality of the food. Today I got a 3rd reason, the service. Carolina gave me great service. She made sure my food came out exactly as I wanted. Light toasted bread and warm fries.

Was initially told a 30 minutes wait since they were busy but we actually got seated in about 15 minutes. Our server Alain was super on it getting us our drinks almost immediately and topping off our party’s coffee without us having to ask even as he was visibly busy attending to multiple tables. We didn’t have to waive him down he kept checking on us. Food came out in decent time and was 100% worth the (expected) wait. Portions were more than enough for my grandparents who loved it and took leftovers but I finished my entire plate (build my own and highly recommend the cinnamon roll French toast). Came for my grandpas birthday and definitely coming back for mine. Hopefully Alain is still there!

I usually order on the app ahead of time. You can park in the designated pick up spots or use drive thru or go in and get your order. I use the pick up spots because the drive thru line can get tied up with gas station traffic. A good experience. 👍

BEST SERVICE FROM MANAGERS! It’s clean, they play such relaxing music, great customer service and friendly fun environment. If something goes wrong, they are so willing to fix it even the manager emailed me to fix an order. I know some McDonald’s make the burgers all sloppy but this one makes them PRIME. I try not to go to McDonald’s but this one hits!

Good options for breakfast, and everything on their menu is available all day. The servers were attentive and made sure I was good with my meal every few minutes. The bigfoot chicken fried steak was good, but I personally felt it was a bit underseasoned. They do have salt and pepper on the table so you can adjust the taste to your liking.

I have visited Black Bear in many states, and the food quality is usually consistent. I always order Hash brown when I visit Black Bear, but the one here was not the best I have. It should be crispy, but tough like hardboard, bet it was old, not fresh at all. The waitress took all the orders without taking notes, but misremembered the type of the sausage I ordered, and took long while to serve the right ones.

Overall, food was surprisingly good, tbh was not expecting much. I wouldn't recommend the fried steak it's more like meatloaf. I would rather get the salmon very good flavor. Veggies have a good flavor as well. The Salmon plate was about idk 20 or less. The turkey club was about 15 dollars or less. And the fried steak was about the same or less. Service was fast didn't wait a long time. I feel it's like a Dennis/ norms, not a super fancy restaurant, family friendly.

I visited this place with the wife, and these are my observations: We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted promptly with a nice attitude. The air conditioning was not running in a day where the temperature was about 90 degrees, so that was an inconvenience. There was some trash on the floor across our table, so this was a bad first impression. The good: Food portions are big for the price. Tha bad: No air conditioning running and presentation over all was OK. The ugly: Taste of food is just about average. Quality of ingredients is poor, and I guess that is why the food is not expensive. My wife got the pot roast plate and didn't go well... Summary: This is an inexpensive restaurant where you can get your money's run. However, be ready to sacrifice taste and quality as the food is just OK.. If you want to experience American cuisine at its best, I recommend lazy dog in Cerritos.

Everytime when we go while she's taking orders she rushes you and talks over you, and she sound very irritated. Well. Kinda disappointed in the menu and pricing... wow! I paid 9.04 for a large fries and an ice cream cone. Seriously. I won't be coming back to a McDonald's any time soon that's for sure! The counter service was adequate, but the menu isn't displayed AT ALL. What the heck is up with that? And NO Dollar menu items. Additionally, the employer who finally called my number dumped my ice cream cone on the counter and thinking I didn't notice, went around the corner and put it in a cup and brought it back! He asked me if I minded it was in a cup... Fun times. Although clean, the "atmosphere" was cold and sterile. No t impressed. There are other fast food places that are not that darned expensive... The guy who handed me the food was awesome. (Would've been a 5-star review). BUT I saw a drink that was right in front of me. I was willing to pay for it, and one of the workers were willing to make it, but the supervisor refused to allow the worker to make it for me. It was a small lemonade with a little strawberry syrup. Initially I wasn't going to give the review such a low score, but her negative attitude towards me warranted the review. Now let's say the drink wasn't supposed to be made, there should be an input to allow it to be made. Shout out goes to the guy who provided excellent customer service, gave me my order, and explained the situation calmly to me in a way that de-escalated my frustrations. I hope you guys promote him.

Where to begin... you have to wait to order at the Kiosk and than wait in line again to pay if you'll pay with cash. Out of 4 employees in the front only two know how to smile and greet. Those are "Alexis" and "Marina" (swing supervisor) while "Maria" (Swing manager) and "kennedy" don't seem too happy to see guests. They both made eye contact with me or so I thought but guess I'm invisible because although I smiled, I didn't even get a "hi, can I help you with something". My order was delivered but only half way. My drinks were missing but thankfully I was acknowledged by and she gave them to me. To the restaurants defense everything was made correctly. To whoever was working the drive through speaker at 8:58 am on Dec 18 2025, 2 egg mcmiffins with only egg bacon and Canadian bacon is not hard and should not take three times to redo. Maybe instead of interrupting me at the speaker you would have been able to hear that. First of all, I know that we are in a pandemic and usually I have more patience, understanding and overall appreciation for essential workers. However, the 2 employees that I dealt with tonight at this location were rude. I placed a mobile order so that I can pick up curbside and avoid exposure and contact with strangers. I always double check my order before leaving because I placed a large order. I ordered 80 chicken nuggets, 4 large fries, 2 McRibs, 1 Filet-O-Fish and a small coffee. The employee that brought out the food brought 1 plastic bag that had 2 paper bags inside. I checked the order and noticed that I was missing 40 chicken nuggets. So I had to go inside to ask for the missing food. There was a long line of people waiting to order, plus another line of people waiting to pick up food. I don't like cutting in line, but McDonald's food only taste good hot/ warm. So I asked the 1st person in line waiting to get food if it's alright if I ask for my missing food. I didn't just cut in front without asking first. The Manager looked up and me and said, "can I help you?" Then I proceeded to say that I placed a mobile order for curbside pickup but noticed that I was missing almost half of my food. I even brought in the bag of food and tried to show him the food that I did receive and he cut me off and said, "there's no point of you bringing in the bag of food, for all I know you could've taken out the stuff that you said is missing and left it in your car" and then the cashier/ employee that brought the food out to my car added by saying, "I mean, there are 2 bags in there, I'm just saying!" Then I told them that there's no way the another 40 pieces of chicken nuggets would even fit in this bag. How could I have taken it out and why would I leave it in my car. The whole reason for curbside pickup and Mobile order is so that I don't have to go inside. Needless to say, most other restaurants (regardless if it's fast food or take out) most managers would've apologized and fixed the order. Instead, I was accused of leaving food in my car and trying to ask for more, when in reality, I just wanted the food that I paid for. It's not like I was only missing 1 sandwich. I was missing 40 chicken nuggets which I ordered for my kids. On a side note, part of my McRib sandwich was missing a part of the bread and almost looked like it had a bite taken out of it. See photos for proof. This very long review is to warn others of my experience. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else, and I really hope that karma helps these 2 rude employees to handle things differently if the situation should arise again.
