I returned from a trip to D.C. a few days ago and had dinner at a restaurant awarded the best Thai food in the D.C. area for the past 3 consecutive years, and this was better (and much cheaper). What a find! The aroma when you first enter the restaurant made me feel that this meal was going to be special. I had the Pad See Ew and Tom Yum soup. The best I've ever had. Rivaled meals in Phuket. Do not pass this jem up!

This was some of the best Thai food I've had anywhere and somehow, i found it way out in the sticks in AK. A lot of the Thai food I've had in my hometown of Seattle and current hometown of Las Vegas doesn't come anywhere near the quality of the meal I had at this restaurant. All of the flavors were fresh and delicious. The dishes were well constructed with decent-sized portions and the staff were delightful and helpful. If I'm ever back in Soldatna, this will be at the top of my list of spots to visit

If you want flavors that will transport you to Thailand then this is your #1 spot. We have lived in Soldotna for 30 years and these people are kind, hardworking and deserve the support of our local and tourist community alike. Everything is generously portioned (enough for 2) and presented with thoughtfulness. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. In the Blazy Mall downstairs right off the Sterling hwy next door to First National bank.

This was a gem. We have been here foy many years, but rarely eat out. We stopped in for lunch before an appointment in Sdotna. We live 90 miles south. The menu had many enticing choices and we chose an appetizer and two soups. It was spicy, served quickly, very fresh, and delicious! The Cafe is small but very clean and appropriately decorated. I think the freshness of the vegetables as well as the flavors of everything was perfect. I am looking forward to going back. It was expensive for us, but a real treat since we who love to cook, haven't tried eating or making a thing we ordered. In fact, I would rather enjoy letting the experts make it! There is an outdoor eating area protected from the wind and weather for when the weather allows. Also a nice fireplace to warm us in the winter.

Good meal, came out fast. Fresh rolls, pad Thai and garlic chicken tasted really good. I wasn't impressed with the salad that came with the garlic chicken. They also kept our water glasses full while we were eating. The side of noodles was huge and big enough for several meals for my preschoolers.

Overall food was delicious. Definitely some good thai food. Only downsize was wait time for them to take our order and wait time for food. Only go if you have extra time on your hands and not in a rush.

Good Thai restaurant for a small Alaskan town. Green curry chicken and tofu was authentic and delicious. Pad See Ew noodle is mild, lacking some spices. The attendants were very friendly.

Ordered the classic Pad Thai and Pad See Ew dishes to go. We are only 4 minutes away from the restaurant so it didn't sit long before we did into it. They must've forgotten to add any flavor to the Pad See Ew because it was so bland we didn't bother eating it. Luckily the Pad Thai came through. It was as expected, nothing special. Don't get me wrong, I still love Pad Thai and I enjoyed the dish. We will try this place again and hopefully they will remember to flavor the dish next time.
