We recently enjoyed a fantastic dinner at this restaurant, where the warm and inviting ambiance made the evening feel truly special. The waiters were polite, attentive, Everything we ordered was delicious, but the mozzarella cheese sticks stood out as absolutely amazing—perfectly crispy outside with gloriously gooey, melty cheese inside. Paired with a tasty marinara sauce, they were hands-down the highlight of the night!

This place has a nice atmosphere and quiet setting. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is amazingly delicious, we ordered the Scottish salmon and seafood linguine and we left satisfied and happy.

Such a wonderful little place with great food, good atmosphere and great service. The place felt like we were in a small town in Italy, with the food to match. Meatballs were on point and everything was fresh and well seasoned

Linguine al pesce and bolognese were so good! The sauce was super well seasoned, plates were hot and super delicious. The al pesce had a lot of seafood like salmon, shrimp, mussels, clams squid and super generous portion sizes. They are super worth the price. The wines are all delicious and are from Santa Ynez. We got the merlot and rose from Santa Ynez and they were the best we ever had! Better than Napa lol the service was nice and the waiters are super fast. Highly recommend if you are craving pasta with some delicious wine with your loved ones

This place?… OH MY GOSH! I NEVER rate a place 10/10, but this comes so close. Firstly, the food was unexpectedly SO bomb. We had great service too and it was pretty quiet for a Friday night. They had the shades down, but cranked them open inside so that it was SO much more beautiful and notably with the natural light around 7pm. Appetizers: 1) A Caesar salad (wife loved the dressing). 8/10. 2) Fried Calamari, Fried Onion, Fried Zucchini bowl with lemon wedges and marinara sauce. 10/10. This was an unbelievably good combination and we couldn’t stop eating it. Entrees 3) Spaghetti and Meatballs. 9/10. Sauce was so fresh and delicious! 4) Pepperoni and sausage Pizza. 9/10. Excellent crust, nice and thing. Great ingredients! Overall, the service, food, and restaurant were AWESOME! The ONLY thing I would say was that they had servers who were hovering a bit and too antsy. They did AMAZING, but I like to finish my dish and not see the plate leave right after my last bite. Just give me a second 🤣 But overall, you should DEFINITELY come here. 9.2/10 overall, great.

It was Black Friday in Solvang, and every restaurant had a wait period. The atmosphere and service was worn. No doubt they never got a break due to how busy the city was this day. I would give it an all around 5. This was the VERY BEST marinara I have ever had in my long years of life. Osteria is now in my contacts and will be the must have restaurant when I visit Solvang next time.

It was Black Friday in Solvang, and every restaurant had a wait period. The atmosphere and service was worn. No doubt they never got a break due to how busy the city was this day. Osteria Grappolo was a welcome relief on a rainy, cold winter night. The service was attentive, atmosphere warm and inviting. The food was good, I reduced it a star because it wasn't hot when it arrived at our table. Pro Tip - Ask for their seasonal drink - they're inventive and use local ingredients.

We sat outside since I had my furry animals with me, the jalapeño poppers are a must!! They tasted sooo good, unfortunately the pasta didn’t have much flavor and it wasn’t what we wanted. The lasagna I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. The service was quick and she was very attentive.

If you like a meaty lasagna, you'll love it here. I ordered the lasagna. On my first bite, I noticed something dense, and hard, so I spit it out and saw that it was just a hardened overcooked bottom layer. The staff was great and got right on making a fresh new one. This is a meaty lasagna. It's served in a really tasty sauce on the plate. The pasta was cooked well (the 2nd time). The service was ok and seemed nice. It was a cold night and the door was left open. I asked staff to close the door and they offered a floor heater. The closed-door helped, but they forgot to "turn on" the heater. The ambiance was cute, we got seated in the wine room.

The veal very chewy we only have 2 bites couldn’t eat it.. also the steak which cost $60 very very chewy we couldn’t eat more than 4 bits .. the total for our invoice $219 Salmon grilled Veal Steak Lasagna which is good Fries Mozzarella fritta which is good also Bottle

This place was a disappointment. The staff were friendly, but the food was not good, especially for the price. This is NOT authentic Italian by an means. Everything seems to be pre-frozen. The vegetables have no taste, and the pasta is not fresh. This would all be fine if the dishes weren't so expensive. For the prices they're charging, you expect way more. And I'm sure the owner will have some snarky response to this review as they've done for several others on here. Maybe if they could take some criticism, listen to what the customers are saying, and actually make some changes, this place would be worth a visit.

One of the worst Italian meals I have ever had!!! I was a chef for 20 years, I've traveled throughout Italy. The food was an embracement to the country. How can you mess up pasta? The antipasto was overbearing. The veal was tough and lame and Prego makes a better marinara sauce in a jar than what I ate. If your the manager and are reading this post, here is a suggestion: fire your cook because he is obviously not from Italy or at least find some better recipes on line for him to cook because until you do, I'm never coming back. PS, here's another idea, how about you have your waiters and waitress grate fresh imported parmigiano reggiano at the table instead of cheese you bought from Albertsons? I'm looking for an experience when I dine, not food my dead grandmother could make. PSS, here's another idea; how about you play Italian music instead of Elvis, while people dine there? PSSS, the best thing on the menu was the Gainey Merlot and it's not even from Italy... PSSSS, the staff was GREAT but you could tell that even they were discouraged by the food you serve.

There were plenty of open seating available outside but for some reason they were disorganized and not seating anyone, this place should be taking names and giving wait times, not one party at a time. There had to be 20 people behind us waiting as well… they need to get their services in order. Next on to the service, our waitress did not speak clear English and was very difficult to understand and kept saying good, that’s it, when we were still trying to order, ugghhhh When we received our food, I ordered the Pesto plate with shrimp and my wife ordered the chicken milanese with an arugula salad. The salad was fabulous, but the chicken was bland, no flavor at all, my Pesto plate was very watery and the shrimp was undercooked. The pesto (noodles) were made with rotini which should have been linguine you would think. Way too much oil and very little basil which made for a watered down dish. Waitress did take 10% off plate as she said it shouldn’t be like that. Not… let me get you another plate or would you like something else. It was very cold and yes it’s December… they did have heaters by the tables and decorations. Food is way overpriced but what do you expect in a tourist town. Solvang was a big disappointment as well, local shop owners said the Dutch folks of the past have left and has been taken over by other greedy cultures with overpriced trinkets. All we wanted was a good dinner to complete the day and was disappointed by this establishment unfortunately. Should’ve just walked a bit further and got a burger.
