This is the mom and pops shop that you are looking for. Excellent food. My go to spot when I'm in the area.
Great, authentic mexican taco truck food. no fuss. just food!
Tacos and flautas are awesome!! Staff is attentive. Great place!
I love this place amazing tacos/salsa, and drinks totally recommend!🔥
Tacos were on point. Vampiros need a little more grill.
Delicious and cheap. 2 bucks a taco and they're incredible.
All of our food was excellent. We ordered carryout from the restaurant... not the taco truck.
Authentic Mexican food! Love this place! It's right on highway 12 nothing fancy but the food for the price is fantastic.
Best tacos in Sonoma
Hidden gem. Amazing delicious mexican food! Tacos are one of the best I ve had and torta is a must have!
Great costumer service, i highly recommend tacos de asada they're so good (hand made tortillas)
Good service and authentically Mexican. Love it. Spicy or not, this establishment fills the need. God bless and mucho success friends. 😍
Best and most authentic tongue taco I have ever had outside of Mexico.
Perfect tacos - actually authentic. The salsa is great, the meat is done perfectly, and the tortillas are just right. All around great.
Delicious tacos and burritos in this little hole in the wall spot in Sonoma. Looks a little dingy but the food and service is impeccable.
Fresh tortillas are so soft and light. Handed over warm, homemade.
Best flour tortillas you can get. Corn tortillas are big enough for tostadas.
Delicious food for a great price; we did take ours to go, but there are cute picnic benches...
Great tacos thats open late. Would definitely recommend at any time of the day though
Love the street tacos just simple taste better special night time
A M A Z I N G authentic food! Highly recommend the tongue tacos...And I’m usually not a tacos fan!
Best family run, authentic Mexican food that Sonoma has to offer. Homemade everything. Refried Beans are the best I have ever had. We eat here every time we visit. Bring home some homemade tortillas.
I love this place it's my go-to spot for when I'm in the mood for good Mexican food. Have never been disappointed. German always knows how to take care of his customers!
Great food!!!!! Hernan, the owner, and the ladies preparing the food are genuinely very polite and friendly. If you haven"t gone there yet, your palate is in for a big yummy surprise. Their food is DELICIOUS. We travel about 15 miles just to go and savor (and enjoy) this Mexican mecca of tacos, tortas, buñuelos, burritos and more. They are THE BEST! Probado y comprobado.
Been coming here for years and it's still delicious! Tacos are 👌 I come here for tacos all the way from Geyserville. That's how good they are!
The dillas are heavy but a solid choice if your avoiding beans and rice. All the meat here is the best but come hungry for lunch. Barbacoa especial!!!
This has to be one of if not the best burrito shops in Sonoma. ( If you know a better one let me know.) This is at least my 3rd taqueria in Sonoma and was hand down the best. Food was delicious.
Bought fresh tortillas they were delicious. Also got tostadas, chips and chicaronas. They all tasted delicious next time try there food.
The 2$ street tacos are the best you'll find in northern California friendly staff the salsa is amazing spicy but just right !! They take cash and credit card Full salsa bar for your liking plus indoor outdoor seating
As always a joy to eat here! With the handmade tortillas and meat fresh off the grill. It's like eating in mexico without the drive to get there. Love eating here late nights
The food is amazing! My favorite Mexican restaurant by far. I would eat there every day if I could.
Damn. Good burritos. Best in town. Dude was telling me it's the fact that they do all their meat on the grill that makes them so good! Bomb
My husband and I was in town visiting friends and they recommended this place after a night of drinking. The food is so, so good. The real deal
Amazing burrito Thankfully we shared the Super Steak Burrito. It's huge!!! And delicious, this isn't Taco Bell, it's the real thing. No tourists here.
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Tacos are perfect, the quesadilla and burrito also amazing. Will be going again tonight for dinner
Excellent tortas and tortas. Really good salsa. Cold jarritos. Busy at 2100 on a Weds night, but they move through orders quickly. Will return next time I'm here.
Incredibly delicious tacos! Try all of their flavors, which include chicken, asada, and lengua. Their homemade guac has a great kick, too!
The burrito is the one you’ve been searching for and it does not disappoint. When in the area I will ensure I make a stop here. The super is large enough to feed you for 2-3 meals. It’s that good and that big.
I come here often with family, and they never fail to impress me with their customer service! The super quesadilla is HUGE and well worth the price! The lonchera has friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious!
Delicious tacos and their burritos are FIRE! The rice is sooo good. The spicy sauce and guacamole are just perfect. I really liked the addition of the pinto beans in the tacos, made them extra filling! Friendly and fast service as well! Hand sanitizer and gloves were on deck mid-pandemic which my partner and I really appreciated.
Their night time taco cart is always hopping and stays open way later than the other restaurants. The salsa is spicy and the burritos are huge, albeit pricey. Look forward to trying their torta next time….
This is the real stuff baby. Humongous burritos and authentic Tacos. The condiment table includes a blistering hot green salsa that was incredibly delicious. It has a tiny inside as well although I ate on the large covered patio. Very very Mexican. La Raza!
We had the chimichanga, burritos and soft tacos with horchata. We loved it! The guy inside even gave us a free hot off the press tortilla to snack on! Great quality food! That was our first visit and certainly won't be the last next time we pay a visit to this town!
To know Jalisco is to love Jalisco. I've been coming here for years, and I can objectively say that they make the best tacos in Sonoma County. The tortillas are made fresh each day, the meats are outstanding, and the people are lovely. If you love Mexican food and haven't been to Jalisco... You're doing it wrong.
Best tacos in town by far. Mostly because of the ridiculously hot guac sauce. Random but relevant: I was skating by just yesterday and had run out of water. I went in and asked if I could have a cup of water. The chick took my bottle and asked if I wanted some jamaica instead.😱🤤 It was a big bottle too! Can't recommend this place enough, seriously.
This is my new go to spot in Sonoma for my Mexican food fix. The food was well seasoned and delicious 😋. Best Burrito 🌯 I had in a long time ⌛️. Keep up the good service and thank you for a delicious meal. I will be back for more....
I love this place. It has become my go to burrito venue. Ive been going for years, but as of late they have really stepped things up a notch. Great food! Will always recommend T.J.s! Keep up the great work everybody!
One of the best street taco places ive been to. Hot souce is really spicy. Dine in side or out side. Lots of space. Authentic feel being close to a busy street but been able to get away from it inside if you dont like it. Only draw back is that it feels like the food gets cold fast. Other than that Awesome food. Come from Santa Rosa just to eat here.
This is a must try place if you are in Sonoma! Just a couple minutes outside of the main square you will find this gem of a taco stop! We had tacos, burritos and the green jalapeño sauce is a must eat. If you are in a budget, like we are, this is a big bang for your buck. The burritos are enormous and you can split one and still be full. We also had the birria tacos and Al Pastor.
Great taco place. Went at night when they have their taco stand set up outside. Good tacos for Sonoma, decent prices, and they had a lot of meat options.
Had three tacos. All good. Asada was too spicy for me and the pastor a little dry. Good vibes. Good service.
Oh gosh this place was awesome! Friendly staff, quick service, fresh salsa and meat. If you’re looking for some local fresh Mexican food, you need to stop by!!
Really good tacos, opens at 6pm and closes very late 11-12 or later if there's persons still arriving. You can just pull over from the street and grab a quick dinner on the go or stay and sit. Buenos tacos Como en El rancho!
Super authentic tacos and tamales. It's not super flashy, but if you're looking for hidden gem restaurants, this is one of them. SO good.
Truly tasty food. It's a laid-back place, but I'm a laid- back guy.
Loved their tacos! Authentic mexican tacos! The odor in the area is another story. Definetely will always go there for tacos when we are in that área.

It's a small-scale local tortilla maker attached to a local taqueria. The building is so small you might drive past it, and it's got maybe half a dozen tables inside. Absolutely worth a stop! Great food! The tacos are a must! While I've never had to wait for a seat or in line, there isn't always someone standing at the food counter. Give them a minute and make some noise; they get busy elsewhere if they think the taqueria doesn't need service. They're still very nice folk and the food is amazing. Don't fault them for their hustle.
I enjoyed 2 tacos authentic and so rich in flavor. Not only did I get 2 Carne asada tacos with beans onion cilantro there was fresh toppings o extra charge. Best tacos in the area by far. I dined in and the young lady was a gem. Thank you for the flavor and full belly. Absolutely sooo sooo good!!
AMAZING. Open later than other local places. Carne asada quesadilla was so good!! Shared one for dinner with a few al pastor tacos, and had enough leftovers for breakfast... which we devoured cold. Homemade corn and flour tortillas made this experience worth reviewing. They were both SO GOOD! The corn were thin and flavorful and the flour was light and buttery. Back to the asada... very delicately trimmed. No gristle or tough bites. It was chopped and crispy and tasted great. I was scared to try the salsa but should have gotten some on the side. Highly recommend this place for any Mexican food connoisseur or late night munchy seeker.

For people who like real mexican food, this is the place to go. Also very affordable. It is a little tiny place but food is great
Good and fresh homemade corn tortillas. Buy by the pound, not dozen. One pound equals about 2 dozen tortillas.
Good tacos and good salsas. Busy on Saturday night, but worth the wait.
Great roadside Mexican spot in Sonoma. Great for a quick stop after wine tasting before heading out later for dinner.
This place is always busy, Good thing it's great food, they are very fast and friendly. Great job
Jalisco's, as this place is affectionately known by people in Sonoma, is really good. I didn't give 5 stars because the tacos are $2.25 each and that's ridiculous, especially when there are other really good options (Las Diablitas and La Bamba) for much less per taco in Sonoma. Also, sometimes at night when they close the restaurant and are only serving from the taco cart the line can get really long and it's a limited menu. But they have outside seating and it can kinda be a fun atmosphere when it's busy and there's people all around.
My favorite 🌮 in Sonoma! Great taste! At night they bring out a trailer and serve food from there! Its a little restaurant, but the outdoor seating helps the limited space.
Local hole in the wall. Authentic Mexican. Pico de gallo was fresh and perfectly hot. Carne asada was juicy and cooked to perfection. Taking a star just for the styrofoam takeout containers.
We were in need of food and found this gem. The super spicy salsa is no joke! The al pastor had a kick to them as well!
Authentic well made tacos. In the evening they set up a stand. Seating is available in a large covered patio.
Good food. First time I came was fire 2nd time COVId. On a par with best Mexican as meat cooked tasty, right spices.
The food is tasty and fast with multiple meat choices for many dishes. Some seating, but not a lot. We usually do take out. Great house made chips and tortillas as well.
Stopped in for lunch on a rainy Tuesday. This is definitely a hole in the wall place, but everyone eating here was hispanic so that was a good sign (mexican food at a place with only anglos sets off warning bells in my head). Service was quick, friendly, and polite. They took my debit card for payment, so don't understand some comments about cash only. Food was good and plentiful, so much so I couldn't finish. I would have no problem coming here again.
Taco truck with indoor seating. Novel idea! Same location as a taqueria I loved many years ago that used to serve chips in hubcaps. Great food! But now chips are only sold in family size bags.
Super good and filling Chilli Rellano dinner, but it's confusing when they are closing. One day I stopped by at 5:30 and was told they were closing for 1/2 hour so I came back at 6pm. The restaurant was closed but a taco wagon was now there with a different menu. The next day I came at 4:30 and the lady said they were closed?? But, to give her credit she did take my order. So, come early!!
Got 1 lengua and 1 carnitas. Pretty tasty. Washed it down with a cool agua de jamica. Can't complain, nice ladies, decent tacos.

You would drive right past this place and never know it is even there. But the lackluster venue doesn't match the local hangout vibe that this place is. We were tourists in Sonoma just looking for some decent Mexican food. This place didn't disappoint. Right down to the heat in the tamale that practically has my teen drooling from spicy heat. She was a trooper and endured the heat. The ordering was a little challenging at the counter, but the food came out well enough and the service very friendly. Glad we found it! The tortilla chips are amazing.
Very overpriced. Seems to be decent quality, but I think they're up to $18 for a burrito now. Also beware that the dishes are spicier than you would expect. It's good, but a higher heat level than I think most people are accustomed to without salsa. Maybe worth a try to see if it's something you prefer, but the cost is a bit outrageous to me.

I’m not sure if this place has closed or if we are just very unlucky in the times we have tried to eat here (all during hours they have posted as open here). This is our fourth failed attempt at trying this place. Will update review if I ever get a chance to eat here, but at this point I’m not sure we will try again.
The food was OK. Not as authentic as I thought it would be. The enchilada sauce was too sweet. It was affordable.
Staff was nice. Inside signage was a bit tacky and could use some updating. Parking lot was rough and could use some work. Outside signage could use some updating too. Food was just okay and really not great at all. Not authentic at all. Enchiladas were very sweet which was weird. Chips for chips and salsa were very hard. I would not eat here again.
I love taquerias....but I was just not into this one and I really wanted to like it. My bf is from Jalisco and swore by this place but I couldn't even eat my second taco because I didn't like it and I never don't eat my tacos!! I did like the polo taco....but the carne asada in my opinion was no bueno. Sorry. They had plenty of customers so I know my opinion won't carry much weight.
Good Taco stop, I had a Cabeza burrito and it was flavorful. They didn't have an option for black beans, bummer. They were out of Guacamole, but considering we just had a huge recall of Californian avacado I don't fault them for that. The salsa in the small salsa bar is nice and spicy, probably too much for the average consumer, Mexicans and those raised on spicy will enjoy the kick.
Doing a very few late night food options in Sonoma. Got a super burrito. It was like $22 and it was the size of my forearm. I couldn't even eat half. So you certainly get a lot of food but in the winter it's cold. So you really got to take it to go and they had no chips. I'd go back but for like tuckas that you eat there, maybe a quesadilla? I don't think I'd order that burrito again
The steak tacos are absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend trying them, you won't be disappointed. I've had a burrito from here but didn't like it. However, their tortillas are the best! If you have the chance to buy a package, do it.

Good mex, burritos large Lengua with beans ,no refied, salsza hot ,tasty ! Ill go back
Food is not the same as couple of years ago. Really expensive for tacos n the place smells like favuloso
I orderd 2 quesadillas 3 tacos an 2 drinks an it turned out costing me $29. I did not know there was a parking fee. Was not aware of the parking fee. Orderd food to go as soon as i got home the tortia came apart, they only give you 1 tortia per taco.most places give you 2 tortias when you order a taco.i feel like they rush to prep the meat an can do better then that. Wouldnt recomend this place unless you are in a rush or intoxicated.i also recomend parking across the street so you wont have to pay the additional parking fee
I mean... its ok food..lately there has been different people cooking not the owners. Honestly it's not good at all anymore with burnt meat and big chunks not cut properly I guess. Owners...please come back lol
There was a taco truck parked in front of the restaurant and it seems like the late night way they do things but it was only 6pm on Friday. The menu was very limited and the food mediocre at best. A super burrito cost $15 and although large was almost pure rice and beans. If there was cheese or guacamole it was hard to tell. The tacos were quite small with meager toppings for $3.25 a pop with only a salsa verde at the salsa bar. I would have expected at least a splash of onion and cilantro and probably twice the meat in most taquerias in San Francisco, or taco trucks. The torta for $12 was average to poor, and oddly was heavy on whole pento beans, no avocado and if there was cheese it didn't show. I was excited to try this place given the other reviews and was sadly disappointed. Perhaps the while the restaurant is open it does better.
Most people who say the tacos are amazing haven't had good tacos. This place is just okay. I've been here a handful of times and it always different and I'm only talking about the night-time taco cart that is making food after hours. I don't mind a dive as usually you find some delicious food. When the owner was making the tacos on a regular basis they were way better. Today is what brought me here. The people behind the counter were having an argument and at the same time the lady making tacos was wearing gloves but as she reached in to the raw chicken to load the grill she was also grabbing tortillas with the same hand that she was touching the raw chicken with. This is bad, really bad as people can get sick. Besides this bad food handling the flour tortillas they make here are some of my favorite, they do have that homemade flavor. I would recommend El Gran Taco over this place as a source of "amazing " tacos after hours in Sonoma.

La neta qnda con estos reviews. Comida mexicana, no manches wey. Comida mexicana la de tu abuela. Anywho after my little Spanish rant used to exemplify my distaste let alone inaccuracy of food order, this place is yea good I guess it's okay, if you are a veterinarian and for some reason after a million years of schooling and professional stamina decided to find dog food to be the equivalent of a 5 star, no 10 star burrito, my not so much friend and Mexican food enthusiast, this is the place for you. Oh and I ate the whole burrito, who am I kidding, of course I didn't eat it. De un hermano a otro, echate unos tacos en otra parte.22$ later. No thank you homie
I will never eat here again owner was rude and tacos were nasty maybe I was there to early cuz I feel they gave me leftovers carnesada tacos it had a funny smell to them what a waste of my money 💰
Going to this place was a mistake! My husband & I went to this place, it didn't look good in the outside, sure enough the food was nasty as well. We should of known better. We usually don't judge a book by its cover but no way will we be going there agian. First time there.. never agian! When we got our food(12 tacos) (spend $45 on it) the food smell weird & didn't taste right.. had no choice but to throw them away. I'm glad we didn't get food poisoning. I rather spend my money on food that's worth our belly! The sad part about this is that the he owner was rude. There was no good hospitality in his part.. I rather give it no stars.
I don’t usuallycomplain, this is my first time to actually complain about a restaurant We went here before and it was really good but then the guy that was taking the order this time made the tacos, there were two girls making tacos and they were putting a lot of meat on. He was so chintzy he hardly put any meat on our tacos. We took our food over to the brewery and opened up the foil, there was hardly any meat on our tacos even the girl that works at the brewery said wow that’s not very much . I called to ask him if he could make it right and he said no I don’t know how I’m going to make it right when I know I put the right amount of meat on your tacos. My response was I guess we are never coming back there again and he said OK ,must be nice to be able to lose customers that easily I guess because they have big lines there they don’t care about two people. There’s a lot of taco places around I guess we’ll just have to find a new one.
Got there at opening and the meat was tough and salty. I ate what I could and asked the staff if the meat was cooked today and they said no, it was cooked yesterday and reheated today. Disgusting.
The chicken taco was INEDIBLE. Dry, old chicken and so hard on my teeth I had to abandon eating it (see photo). I wasted $15 on the taco plate. It seemed like the chicken had been reheated over and over and over again. Very low quality. The rice and beans that came with it were in small quantity and not very flavorful. The rice too seemed dry and old. There is no accounting for taste. I went here based on several positive reviews. I had passed by this place for 4 years and finally thought I would try it out. I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant in Sonoma that I like. I think I give up. This place has just okay service and there was no AC and not even a fan for the customers to enjoy eating in. No refreshing black iced tea either as a choice on a very hot day, only sugary drinks. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this place. I certainly won't be going back.

Stay as far way from here as possible… my brother bought a burrito and felt something hard and sharp in the burrito. As he took a closer look inside his burrito he noticed it was a metal hair from the brush they used. This could’ve seriously injured him! I wouldn’t come here especially after experiencing that, stay away and go elsewhere!
Food is ok, i go for the potatoe crispy tacos. Hours are unreliable. Just choose another place as you show up for lunch or dinner and they're closed.
