This was a return trip .. this place has super delicious and fresh food... Great atmosphere

The food was good and the staff was helpful and polite. The portion amount you are able to serve yourself is worth it you get what you pay for. The sauces are nice and tasty just gotta make sure you add enough, to get the right taste. But we were overall satisfied with the service and will be back to try it again.

Omg I love this place. They are so helpful. They answer all the questions we have had. The first time we came here awhile back, they have always made us feel welcome. The atmosphere is always welcoming. The moment we walk through the door, they welcome us and are all smiles. I have seen them clean of the grill for people who have allergies. They provide welcome customer service. The staff are on the ball when it comes customer service. They check on how we are doing several time throughout the meal. If we need refills they would get them before we even ask. This place has become my husband's and mine new favorite spot to go to for lunch or dinner. The prices aren't bad either. It is a great date spot because of the fun atmosphere and welcoming presence. 10 out 10 I recommend.

We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. The food was tasty and hot.They do a good job of setting up the food for you to select for your bowl and getting it cooked up in a timely manner. Honestly, it's a shorter wait than if you had a waitress take your order put your order back bring your order out. So while it's not a fast food restaurant, it is efficient and quick. I would recommend it. It's not fancy but it's good food.

Classic Mongolian style choose your own bowl they cook in front of you etc. They also give you a free dumpling, tempura chips, soup and cup of rice. It’s hard to beat that kind of offering for 16.50 plus all you can eat noodles. I was a bit confused on what sauce to add but that’s on me because they have a sign with recommendations. The people were nice and the joint was clean. Not the best noodles I’ve ever tasted but well worth the money.

By default i came, (only place that was open after 7:30 🤣) Pretty good actually. You choose your ingredients and pass the bowl over to the cook. Its all made on a grill.💪 Good if your looking for noodles and grilled meats.

If you dont put enough sauce they add more and I don’t like it when the end result is like soup. You just never know how it will turn out depending on who is cooking. The service is always good, helpful and polite. The tables are usually clean, but the condiments are not. The woman’s bathroom has a terrible glade product that is way to overpowering so I cant tolerate the bathroom. Sometimes the music is way to loud for such a small dining room. There aren’t any signs that state the price of anything!! Signs would also be useful for when lunch is served,dinner buffet, extra items you can buy like sides, what comes with the meal etc With all that said I am very happy to see this here in Sonora and I hope it stays!

Noodle bowls are delicious ! As a first timer the seating was a little confusing. No one told us we had to sit at the table with food already on it (the bowl comes with rice, soup and won tons which were set at the table waiting for us ) So it would be nice if they showed you your seating because we went and sat down somewhere and the gal came to get us and said “no your table is over here” . All though it is very generous - The sides that come with the bowl are not the best the rice is cold, mushy and taste days old. Soup is bland and won tons are cold. They really should just focus on the noodle bowls and not the “free sides “ because bowls are amazing. Cooks and staff are very friendly. Service was good after being seated . Will be back !

When, and I mean when, all the ingredients are not empty, the food is pretty good. The restaurant, well the seating area, is usually clean, and the waitress friendly and attentive. The buffet bar though, almost always needs attention when I'm in, which is during lunch time, and it's not usually terribly busy. Sometimes there's only 1 cook, who only cooks one person's bowl at a time, and while they usually do a good job, I've noticed a few times where someone didn't use enough sauces, and he has to ask which they used so he can add more, while every single other Mongolian BBQ place I've been to just uses a splash of water. That leads me to my next comment, which is I'm not sure if it's company policy, or just this location, but the cook has told me they aren't allowed to use water on the flattop, both cooking or cleaning. They will cook a few bowls, then have to stop the entire process to clean the flattop, by just scraping, and it can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 10+, which is crazy when you have a line waiting for their food to be cooked! It can be cleaned, safely and a whole lot faster (and actually cleaner) if they just used water to deglaze the flattop, then scrape it off, add and spread around a little cooking oil, and boom, ready to go, takes less than 2 minutes. I absolutely love Mongolian BBQ, and I've been to other GK locations. This is the only one I don't give 5 stars to, and it's all because of simple things: clean the flattop properly, and pay better attention to the ingredient bar, make sure the items are stocked and the bar clean. Do these things, and I'll happily revise my review!

This was my experience Wednesday November 1st 2023 1pm. Firstly, the person cooking added a lot of water to my food which ended up being really bland despite adding 6 ladles of sauce, including garlic chips and the twisted BBQ on the end. He was filling the pitcher of water from the hand washing sink. (No no) They did not ask if I wanted garlic powder, I only realized once I sat down. And then. And THEN. I watched this man check his phone 4 times while cooking. He did not change his gloves, nor did he wash his hands. Please educate your employees on food safety. You simply cannot use your phone while cooking food for service. The other employees were great. Homeboy with the septum ring: 10/10. Server with the spider web tattoo: 10/10

He did not hang up until he was about 4 feet away and looked like he was not interested in even being there. He briefly explained what to do and walked away again. My husband and I do not get much time for just us. I was very disappointed. I wanted a better atmosphere so we walked out and did not have lunch there. I’m hoping one day we can go and try again. I know they say the food is amazing.

Very disappointed with the service. Me and my husband went first time in this restaurant we went inside the restaurant the employee was standing infront of us and completely ignored us no greetings nothing we were just waiting to be seated but no interaction at all. We sat on the waiting seats but they completely ignored us we waited for 10 minutes and then we walked out of the restaurant without having lunch. Very very poor customer service.

I waited so long to write this review because I wanted them to be good but the service is a NIGHTMARE! I've gotten hair in my food twice. Completely ignored by staff while they visit and chit chat in the kitchen. I've overheard the waitress talk bad on us for asking them to refill the ingredients in the bar. I just got a Togo order and none of my sides I asked for were included. AWEFUL
